Adobe AIR  - Please Respond Adobe!

I have installed (at the Adobe.com site) and uninstalled
Adobe AIR several times and still get the following message after
my computer boots up: "This installation of this application is
damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for
assistance." Please help me to resolve this problem ASAP. Thank you
in advance.

Could you get the installation log and post it here?
To get the installation log, you need to create a
.airinstall.log file in your home directory.

    Check this post, the dial assist is part of the iOS 7.1, according to page 49 of the iphone_user_guide
    Make calls to your contacts and favorites while traveling abroad. (GSM) Go to Settings > Phone and turn on Dial Assist. Dial Assist automatically adds the prefix or country code for calls to the U.S.
    This user had a similar problem and solved it by switching off the dial assist feature in Settings/Phone/Dial Assist

    If you did not set up find my iPhone on the iPod, you can't find it.

    I synced my ipad to my itunes store on my computer and a bar showed up on the bottom of the screen showing how many gigabytes i was using. Now i cant click on the screen to move the app from itunes to my ipad for some reason, or my movies/ music for that matter either. The real reason i am doing this is because i accidently erased the app store and dont want to erase all the apps i already have on their. So if someone can help me get the app store or fix the syncing problem that would be great because i use it for school which requires certain app be installed. Please respond quickly!

  • I bought a brand new ipod touch 5th gen, updated the software and now iTunes says "to allow access, please respond on your ipod touch" however the ipod has a black screen and pressing the buttons does nothing. how do i fix this?

    As the title says, this is a brand new iPod touch bought from a store, I plugged it in a commenced the "setting up" process through iTunes on may iMac. It got to the stage where it said allow this computer to access the device (or something along those lines), i clicked yes, and then a message came up "to allow access, please respond on your iPod touch. however the ipod screen is black, and pressing the buttons doesn't work. How can i fix this? or do I need to return it?

    Try:                                               
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable       
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

        Let's ensure your e-mail is up and running properly. I would suggest clearing the application through Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > All > Clear Cache and Data from the e-mail application that you're using.

    Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the display has a dark screen. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    Display has no backlight or dark screen
    Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
    Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
    While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
    If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

    HELP!
    A couple days ago I had to re-format the computer due to a virus. I didn't save any of the songs that were on iTunes. That night I listened to some songs on my iPod. The next day I plugged it in my computer for it to charge. When it was done charging, I went to listen to some songs but there were NO SONGS ON IT!! I have no clue what happened... has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please respond ASAP!

    Copying songs from your iPod to your computer
    "The iTunes library on your computer holds all the songs you've encoded from your CD collection or purchased from the iTunes Music Store. With default settings, iTunes automatically copies the songs in your library to your iPod. When you use your iPod as a hard disk, you can't see the songs iTunes copies to your iPod in the Finder or My Computer. This is normal. Using the Finder or My Computer, you can't copy these song files from your iPod back to iTunes or to any other computer. The synchronization between your iPod and your computer is always one way: from iTunes to iPod.
    If you've erased the music library on your computer, there's no way to use the Finder or My Computer to copy the songs from your iPod to reconstitute the library on your computer. One solution is to encode the songs from your CD collection again, then sync your new library with iPod. If you purchased songs from the iTunes Music Store and didn't back them up, there's no way to download them again. You'll have to buy new copies of the songs."

    So even if there were any tracks on your iPod, Apple has set it so you shouldn't be able to get them back.
    You need to reload iTunes with music, and then get into the habit of backing them up as well. Once you've done that you can start loading onto the nano.

    I posted these issues 12 days ago and have had no reply, please respond:
    1. I have changed jobs and created a new account using [email protected] Could you please remove my old account jdjwright / [email protected] Note I no longer have access to my old email address but can provide further account details if required.
    2. When I created my new account my company address state/province was not listed. My postal city is London and I would have expected to see Greater London in the state/province drop-down list but it is not available. I eventually selected Berkshire instead which is not correct. Can you please remove Berkshire from my address and/or add Greater London to the state/province drop-down list?

    The only way to do this would be to create a new Spotify account using your e-mail address. If you contact the accounts team through the online contact form they can definitely set you up with a new account and transfer over all your music content. If you receive an automated e-mail directing you back to the community, just reply to it and you will hear from a representative within 24-48 hours.

    HHi guys, hope you can help..
    i Managed to smash the screen on my iPhone 5 at the weekend, done it properly! most of the glass has come out and the screen is completey black And unresponsive. I'm over due an upgrade with Vodafone at the moment and I'll be getting the Iphone six.
    im trying to connect my broken iPhone 5 to my laptop so I can back everything up.. However when I plug the phone in, the computer gives me a warning sign saying 'do you want to allow this computer to access information on your iphone' obviously I press continue and get put to another loading bar saying 'to allow access, please respond on your iPhone'
    this is my issue, I cannot see or press the confirmation button on my iPhone.. Is there a way of getting around this?

    If you have not previously synced your iPhone with your computer there is no way around it. If there was, anyone who found or stole your phone could get your information off it. Did you perhaps set it up to back up to iCloud?
