Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod/Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. After downloading and installing Adobe Flash Player 11.6 on my HP Laptop w/ Windows 7, The player will not work. Every time i click on a video it tells me that i need to install Adobe Flash Player. I have followed all the trouble shooting steps on the Adobe site, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it again and still it does the same thing...In Adobe trouble shooting steps where it checks to see if there is another Adobe Flash Player installed on my computer, it can not find where there are any installed....so what do i do???

Anyone else have problem with DVD player not working since 10.7.4 update
Tried to put digital copy of movie onto computer last night and kept getting error message about the disc wasn't supported. So tried one I already have on my computer and got same message. This is first time I've tried doing this since I updated. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Audigy 2 problems with spdif out not working and cracking appear
Hello everyone,
I am new in this forum but after searching through it i decided to post as i din't find a problem exactly similar to mine.
I have a Creative audigy 2 ZS plugged on my computer with this configuration : Gygabyte P35 DS3, Quad core Q6600, Kingston 2 gb.
From the beginning of my purchase i did not have any problem of cracking or connection problems in spdif with digital din in either XP or Vista. Last week end i decided to re install XP after a virus infection with XP SWEET wich install directly the drivers of my peripherals like the audigy.
The audigy is connected to my speakers : Creative? 5. kit 5700 via the digital din connection and without any analog connection as i selected digital out only in my settings.
Everything was working fine until 2 days ago when? while watching a divx the sound stopped working. i checked everything in m connection and everything was good as well as my speakers. finally i connected the audigy via analog cables to the speakers to find that, if i select digital out only no sound could be heard and finally that poping and cracking sounds started to appear.
I don't know what happened with my system as it never did that before in any of my configurations.
When i reboot my computer, the digital out start working again to finally stop 5 minutes later.
If somebody can help me is help would be most welcome.

I have a licensed copy of Adobe Acrobat X Pro for Windows. I recently switched over to MAC OS and would like to move my Adobe X Pro over but the CD will not work for Mac OS? Can anyone assist me with this conversion?

James.you cannot use your pc license to install on a mac. you would need a separate license (and serial number) for that.
adobe allows platform swaps, but only with the latest (xi) version, Order product | Platform, language swap
your option to use acrobat on a mac are to upgrade to acrobat pro xi and change platforms, use a windows emulator (parallels/boot camp etc) on your mac or swap with a third party. -
As soon as I open iTunes a message pops up to say a problem has stopped it from working and I have to close it. Any solutions?
Start with the third box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
If that doesn't work, use the steps in the second box to repair your iTunes installation. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Does anyone have problems with sent messages not showing in their Mail? I have two sent folders when really I only want one. Any tips?
Not sure if this is a fix, but I tried sending myself a test email from only the Bcc field, and lo and behold it now shows the Bcc field in all sent item previews;
...maybe leaving the 'To' field blank on purpose forced Mail to show it.
Rebooted the Mail program, still there - rebooted the machine, still there. Hope this is still relevant and it works for you too - J. -

There are a few twists here. This is my opinion of a quick and easy way to do what you want to do.
Get a 2.5" sata enclosure like this one - this is just a sample:

Put the new ssd in the enclosure, connect it to the Mac using the included USB cable. It is now an external drive.
Format the drive using Disk Utility.
Download and run Carbon Copy cloner, and clone your drive to the new external.
Shutdown. Open the MBP and remove the SSD drive from the enclosure and put it in the place of the old drive.
Boot the MBP. Once you know the new drive is up and running, you can get to the process of installing the old one in the optical bay.

I have 3 songs that will not download and the volume of error messages from Itunes about these "3" is annoying. I know my way around Itunes but cannot find a way to delete them and stop these Itunes download error messages.

I also got a response from Apple who said that there was a problem related to fonts and the encryption.xml file
Once we'd removed this we were able to upload the epub no problem.
It's odd that the system seems to say that all is okay when it isn't. We have to rely on guesswork rather a lot using iBook Producer.

When I try to log onto my Apple ID to use facetime, it will not work and tells me to check my connection. I have even tried creating a new apple ID but the same message appears. I do not understand why this is happening, could anyone help me resolve this issue it is very frusterating that I can not enable facetime or imessage.
I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.
