Yes, Bridge shortcut has been removed from PS CS5. However, you can go to File->Browse in Bridge option to open the file in Br CS6.

    I have 2 digital cameras one is a Fujifilm Fine Pix Pro S3 and the other one is a Nikon D200. The Fuji photo files show image previews in Adobe Bridge (I use Photoshop CS2) but the nikon files only show an icon with NEF displayed. How do I get the image previews? Any help would be appreciated.

    I am using an iMac 27" too and I've faced in with this situation as well as you are, I hve tried several different setting but it feels like it is normal. I've gone trough on Bridge, CC and CC2014 nut they are all the same. If you open on camera raw any raw files you might see similar softness. As soon as you convert to JPG,TIFF, PNG... it will be fine.

  • Keyboard access to PS CS6 Menu Bar in  Full Screen Mode (Windows)

    I'm looking to find a way to access Photoshop Menus in Full Screen Mode by  pressing the Alt+(any of the underlined Menu Keys).
    The alternative I've been using is pressing the Tab key to show the Menu and Panels, or simply toggling Screen Modes (f  key or Shift+f) but that negates the purpose of Full Screen Mode.  I followed the instructions on this post to no avail:

  • Shortcut for Scripts... Menu Bar Item

    Is it possible to add a shortcut to the Scripts... menu item in Photoshop CC 2014?
    I have not been able to figure this out.

    I place a shortcut to my Photoshop Scripts tree into each Photoshop version Preset\Scripts folder to link all version to my Photoshop scripts.   CS2,  CS6 x32 and x64, CC x32 and x64 and CC 2014 all six Photoshop version use use the same script files.
    For short cut keys  I have to edit each Photoshop version keyboard Shortcuts or Create Photoshop Actions that use my scripts and assign shortcut key to these actions. While the Actions may sound stupid. They are all in a single Action set. Its much easier to load that action set into each version of Photoshop then to edit each Photoshop version shortcut keys and adding all the shortcuts or maintain Names sets of saved Photoshop shortcuts for both Script and other personal Photoshop shortcut keys. Well it is for my feeble mind. If Photoshop versions were more compatible one would not need so many versions installed....

  • Macbook pro.minimize button is inactive. Finder menu bar and dock won't appear when firefox is open. not occuring with safari. have to click on desktop to get Finder menu bar and dock to reappear. think happens after update of something. How do I fix it?

    When i open firefox it opens up full screen (as it always has) but now the minimize button is grey (not yellow) and inactive so i can only open (green button) or close (red button) my firefox window. I can still make it smaller by dragging the bottom right corner but i can't minimize it to my dock or anything. Also, I have my dock set to auto show/hide when i roll my pointer over it. Now, whenever Firefox is open (no matter what size the window is) the Finder menu bar (with the time, battery power, etc) does not show up (which it always has before) and my dock won't auto appear when i roll my pointer over it.

  • Missing airport icon in menu bar HELP PLEASE

    Okay, I have a g4 powerbook that came with tiger.
    I am missing the airport icon that once was there in the menu bar at the top right-hand side.
    What I've done: ran disk utility, = all's well, check for software updates = all's well there too., and the most obvious, check the box under system pref. for airport config.
    I check it and it is does, nothing. I go back to system pref. and is unchecked again.
    IM AT A LOSS. Anyone with this problem PLEASE help.

    Do not concern yourself with the other files that you found at that location. Just leave them where they are.
    Since your problem is also related to some extent to System Preferences, you may benefit from trying the procedures outlined by Dr. Smoke in Try the following....
    Another possibility is to download and reinstall the Mac OS X 10.4.6 Combo for PPC.

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

  • Adobe Reader plugin on Intel iMac... menu bar gone when viewing pdf?!?!?

    I had Adobe Reader 7.0.5 on my iMac G5 and when I clicked on a pdf file, it opened in a new window with a menu bar at the top. Since migrating to my Intel iMac yesterday, the menu bar is gone though pdf pages display... just with blank space where the menu used to be. I downloaded v7.0.8 and installed and the same problem. I have the prefs set to view pdf files in Safari and, again, they view... just no menu bar! Any idea how to fix this?

    As far as I know, Adobe Reader (even v7.0.8) isn't Universal yet, which means it [the plugin] probably won't run natively on your Intel iMac unless you run Safari under Rosetta.

  • Got several adobe updater icons in my menu bar how do I remove them?

    Installing adobe photoshop elements 10 I ended up with several updater icons in my menu bar. Tried command dragging them out, but that didn't work. Any ideas?

    As far as I know the only way to get rid of them is to 1) install the updates and then 2) turn off automatic updates for PS Elements (in PSE Preferences).

  • Adobe Bridge CS 4 missing file properties

    I'm working with photoshop files (CS 4) and a few seem to have dropped some of the metadata from the file properties in the bridge browser. Dimensions, Resolution, Bit depth, and Color Mode are missing, and the Color Space is listed as Untagged, even though it is in fact tagged as Adobe 1998 in the Photoshop file. It's as if I inadvertently hit it a quick key to dump the information, as it has only occurred on a couple of files. The thumbnail appears smaller too. Any ideas?

    I tried all of the above to no avail. I saved a copy in another folder and the file still had the diminished thumbnail and missing data. I added another layer (the files contain many layers and adjustment layers) to the file, cropped and re-saved and it picked up the missing data on the new version. I made some benign changes on my original, but alas it didn't work.
    When I get a chance I'll do some more testing on this. It may have something to do with I import certain layers. I have been flowing layers in from both Aperture and Bridge, and from the latter, sometimes as smart objects. So maybe there is something going on there.
    Except for this minor glitch, and some more serious PS stability issues, I am preferring the Bridge/Photoshop workflow to the Aperture/Photoshop workflow, and I'm thinking of jettisoning Aperture altogether in favor of the "browser" method of managing files.
    I appreciate all the suggestions and will get back to this problem soon. But for know I have to meet a deadline.

  • Dreamweaver cs6 menu bar disappears

    I am using dreamweaver cs6, and it keeps doing this wierd hang in which the window size of the application becomes small, and the menu: File, Edit etc. disappears. I have to shut it down via the task manager and restart, losing any unsaved work. I Dont know if this is a bug or a new feature I dont know about where im triggering some different mode. It usually happens after I get the greyed out screen when the application is busy and not responding.

    It mostly happens around saving files which i have set up to automatically ftp.
    IMO "upload on save" is a dangerous option.   What if you make a mistake and save a corrupted file?  It now becomes part of your site.  Try turning that option off and see if it fixes your freezing problem.

    Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, enter /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ as the folder's path, and then double-click the item iChat.menu inside. You may need to add this item to the Accounts pane of System Preferences as a login item for your account.

  • Adobe Bridge / CS6 default

    I can no longer double click an image in Adobe Bridge and have it open in my Photoshop CS6 program. It takes me to your new Photoshop CC 2014 15.2.2 program which I do not have. How do I make CS6 the default program so I can once again double click on an image in Adobe Bridge and have it open in CS6?

    If you launch Photoshop CS6 by itself, do you get this offer?
    If that's case, click on License this Product, sign in if asked, then use the serial number option. Enter your serial number and Photoshop should be back to its' old CS6 self.
    Photoshop CS6 sometimes goes into Trial mode and shows the CC offerings. No worries.
