Adobe Captivate 3 Trial Version Issues

Hi,
I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Captivate 3 and everytime I click on the record button, the application shuts down.
My company would like to purchase this product but cannot do so due to this inability to use the trial product.

The trial version is fully functional. However, the projects published with the trial version expire when the trial ends, that is after 30 days.
To ensure that your project remains active after the trial period, you need to purchase the full license and republish the projects.

Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

These products are not officially supported. If you get an error, you need to prodive as much detail as possible, maybe someone here can help.

Adobe Captivate Trial expires after one use

I just downloaded the Adobe Captivate trial (Mac) and it only worked once. I'm pretty sure I have never installed this before on my Mac. Is there a known problem and fix for this?

Steverb2 if your trial is showing as expired then I would recommend evaluating the software on a different computer. Please see Adobe trial software expired early - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 for possible reasons your trial may have expired early. There is no method available to extend an expired trial.

Adobe Premiere shows "Created with Adobe Premiere trial version"

Adobe Premiere shows "Created with Adobe Premiere trial version" I thought it's a fully function trial isn't that right? I made one project to test the program and it didn't have that on the screen but when i started working on the second one it started showing the message on all the videos "fyi i just downloaded it today"

It may depend on which Codec you are using. I know we had to reduce the functionality of Premiere in the past due to licensing concerns. Was there differences in the encoding you used for the video between the two projects?

Adobe Premiere Trial version did not install correctly on My windows Vista machine. The process is complete but the program does not appear in the program list. The program is listed in the Control Panel programs. I want to test the program so I can buy it if i works on H264 files.

First, there is no such thing as an Encore trial, due to licensing of 3rd party program modules
Second, Encore is installed as a bundle with Premiere Pro CS6
Third, the CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 will help

Trial version issues

I just installed the trial version and found that it will not
save. Does anyone know if this is a function of the trial version.
It seems other products of Adobe will let you save for the 30 day
trial.
Also when I am doing a "capture" nothing is recorded. Also a
function of the trial version?
I know I was able to save with a disk version of the trial,
but had other issues so I went to the web download version which is
the one given me these problems.

Where are you trying to save to? Captivate works best if you
work locally. Don't be saving to a network resource.
Not sure what to advise other than to have you ensure you are
working in the correct location (listed above) and have installed
things correctly. Maybe need to log in as an admin?
There is no difference between the trial version and the
registered version aside from the fact you only have 30 days to use
it. So it isn't crippled in any way.

What specific error messages are you receiving? Which version of Mac OS do you have installed?

Where is the Library in this Captivate Trial version?

What causes the Library to go missing? It is not on the Window menu, and cannot be activated using CTRL+ALT+L. This is the trial verison of Adobe Captivate 4. When I open a project, I get a message saying that the library has many unused item; however, I cannot open the library to remove them.

Hi there
The trial version is not crippled in any way. You are probably just not viewing the Edit area. Double-click any slide and you should enter edit mode. Then you will be able to use the methods you outlined to show the Library.
You might also consider submitting a Wish Form to ask the development team to place a handy button on that dialog that opens the Library when you click it!

Can you please share me the feautres that are included in
adobe captivate 3 product but not included in trial version.

The only difference is the time in which you have to use it
and the fact that during the trial period, any projects you create
using the trial will automatically have an expiration date
configured that you can't disable until you purchase the license.
Once you do that, the check box that allows you to disable the
expiration date for the project will work.
