Adobe eLearning Suite Flash Quiz Templates

I tried to create some, such as "Drag and Drop" or "True and False." However, the instructions weren't adequate. I couldn't figure
out what Adobe was telling me to do. I went online to Adobe, and tried to find tutorials. There don't seem to be
e any. I can't get any help at all.
It seems, to me, that there Quiz Learning Interactions are included only in the version of Flash CS5 that comes with the e-Learning suite. Am I right?
I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who could supply me with some guidance.

Unable to install Adobe elearning suite 1.0 in windows 7 pro environment

I have spent two days trying to re-install my elearning suite 1.0 on a new computer. I have called Adobe support three times. The first time I got cut off after 25 minutes on line. The second time I got cut off after 40 minutes on line. On the third try, after over an HOUR on hold, I made it to a person and I told her my problem. She was quiet for a second or two and then I heard the dial tone. If anyone from Adobe support is lurking on this forum, shame on you.
I purchased the very expensive Adobe ELearning Suite 1.0 less than a year ago and installed in on my Windows XP Thinkpad machine. It was a painful install. I use Adobe Presenter 7 and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Thats it. Nothing else.
Unfortunately, my Thinkpad died and I have purchasaed a new Thinkpad -- a W510 Windows 7 Pro and 4 g ram. Should not be an issue.
It will not even get past the starting gate. I get an auto lang error and then conversion data file.
When I the error I see a similar error for a different product, however the error is for a language mismatch between the operationg system and adobe. This is not my problem. I have verified that both products are same language -- jeeze, English.
At this point the only option I can see if to purchase the very expensive Adobe elearning suite 2 -- but guess what? It too comes with Adobe Presenter 7. Why should I have to pay another 1000 for the same thing I already own.
Has anyone else had this issue who might be able to provide advice? At this point I am so frustrated and irritated by Adobe I could scream.
I would also be very receptive of recommendations for a replacement for Presenter --

Adobe eLearning suite 6.1 extended trial for Partners - Serial Number not working

Greetings from Greece,
We are new Adobe Certified Resellers. I was informed that via the Adobe Partner Connection portal I can install an NFR extended trial copy of Adobe eLearning suite 6.1 for demo and training purposes. So I downloaded this software (version 6.1 WIN) from the website above but the serial number provided on the same page is not working with the message "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If the problem persists contact support".I am sure that I am typing the correct one (as I find it on the web page), tried several times, also tried copy-paste to be sure.

Adobe eLearning Suite 2 Workflows link in Windows START Menu fails

I just recently purchased the Adobe eLearning Suite 2 and I get an error message when I click on the following link:
Start - All Programs - Adobe eLearning Suite 2 - Adobe eLearning Suite 2 Workflows
Error message is within an Adobe Air dialog box - This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance.
The link points to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe eLearning Suite 2 Workflows\en_US\Main.exe"
My first question is: What happens when you click on this link? Is there any utility behind it that will help me in my workflows? Am I wasting my time to try and find out what this link does?
I reached out to technical support and after several calls and being tossed around to several departments, they ultimately said my version of Windows was not supported by eLearning Suite 2. One guy (Application Specific queue) said he tried it on his machine and got the same error but he couldn't help me because it was an installation issue and that I would have to open a sevice contract ($40.00) to get help with this problem and dumped me back to the installation folks who told me my machine was not supported. What the??
I found the support page for the suite and it just says "Windows 7." I opened up a CHAT dialog box on the same page and that person "Scott" told me that all versions of Windows 7 are supported for the suite.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit on my PC. The eLearing Suite 2 website says the system requirements support "Windows 7." My assumption is that the suite is supported on my machine.
My next question now is: Is my Windows 7 version supported (Yes or No)? If so, then why doesn't the above mention link work?
If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate your help.

I have tried the above solution to no avail. It seems the root cause of the problem is incompatibility with the new version of AIR

Surely a multimillion dollar company like Adobe which is trying to be very customer orientated can afford to get the original creator of Workflows to provide an updated version of the program which will work with the latest version of AIR

Flash Quiz Template HELP Please!

I created a quiz using the Flash Quiz Template and everything
works fine. What I'm wondering is how do I make it so that it gives
a different frame when the user fails and when the user passes.

OT: Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 with my Production Premium Suite CS55

I already have the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium suite but I realized I need Dreamweaver now. I also would like Captivate (not available in other suites) and it seems I can upgrade from my current to suite to a "Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5" for $399 that has both programs and sounds reasonable to me. That eLearning Suite has already a lot of the programs from my ProPro suite.   Will that cause any problems for installation when I buy it as a download or will it just know that I already have version of Photoshop, Acrobat X etc... already installed.   Sorry, if this sounds dumb but I don't know how these two suites would interact.

Here's the answer to add to the knowledge base on this group.
I bought/downloaded the eLearning Suite 2.5 and I tried to install it.   Of course it first asked for the suite serial # that worked, but then it asked for a serial # of a valid upgrade product. One had to select a product from the list but the Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium was not in the list and my serial # from it did not work when entered with any other product.
When you go to click on the buy button for the eLearning Suite 2.5, it gives you option to upgrade with CS55 Pro Prem. Though in the "Buying guide : Upgrade eligibility tab", the suite is not mentioned.    http://www.adobe.com/products/elearningsuite/buying-guide-new.displayTab2.html
Strangely enough, I did buy Photoshop CS2 separately a long time ago and that serial # was recognized as the upgrade product during the installation process. I did not carry through with that installation because of these new impending "1 back" upgrade policies, so I phoned Adobe and they gave me a new serial # for the eLearning suite and I didn't require a secondary upgrade number. 8-)
During installation, it showed me a dialog box of things already installed (i.e. Photoshop, Audition).    Needless to say, everything is now installed and everything works like a charm.
The reason why I bought this suite is because I wanted Captivate and it is not in the Master Collection (I thought as an upgrade possibility) and I really need Dreamwaver as well.

My copmany has bought the Adobe eLearning Suite 6.1 and it was installed a few times now but every time we run the Adobe Application Manager we get an Error code A 12E5 - anyone that can help us with this problem please

Regarding the installation problem we experienced, Sasol did the same installation about a year and a half back and because they also have a network firewall experienced the same problems, after long consultations with varies people they have found a resolution to the problem and have resolved it. They will help me but asked me to first obtain a NON-FORCED ACTIVATION KEY from Adobe now I’m not sure if you can help me with this if not could you perhaps help me with contact details of someone who can assist. I really appreciate your assistance in this regard.

Feedback options in Flash quiz template

I am a Flash novice using the Flash Quiz template and trying
to create multiple conditional incorrect feedback responses for
each question. Currectly the array only has one asset dedicated to
providing feedback for an incorrect response. Is there a quick and
easy way to add two more conditional incorrect feedback
responses?

Is there no one who knows how to do this?

Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 Subscription upgrade

I spoke with an Adobe rep last year about my Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 subscription, specifically about upgrading to the latest version. I was advised that when the subscription expires (7 February 2013) I would be upgraded to the latest version. I just received an email from Adobe saying that my subscription has been renewed however I don't have the latest version of Adobe eLearning suite nor is it available in the downloads section of my Adobe Your Account.
How do I get this rectified? Do I need to cancel my subscription and sign up for a new one? Was the adobe rep wrong?
I've just tried to call Adobe but the office is closed. The advertised office times are: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST. I called at around 4:15pm AEST but the office was closed. I suspect that the actual office times are based on AEDT, not AEST, so I'll give it another shot tomorrow if need be.

If you received an email stating that your Subscription has been upgraded, then you can download the ELS 6 from http://www.adobe.com and install it. From CS 6 onwards subscription process has been changed a little bit, you don't require a Serial number. You can install the product and select the option Select Subscription and use your Username and Password(Adobe ID) and install it. It will activate it.
Please let me know in case you have any doubt.

Crashing Photoshop CS5, other programs in Adobe Elearning Suite working fine

Hi,
I really need some help. I have tried troubleshooting, updating, reinstalling all to no avail.
After a long time of having no problems, I cannot get Photoshop CS5 to work, neither the 32 or 64 versions. I get the same error everytime: right after the splash screen and after the software opens, I get a non descriptive error and windows shuts the software down. The error is: "An unexpected and unrecoverable probelm has occured. Photoshop will now exit." The event viewer indicates it is the MSVCR90.dll but I have read that is just generic. The event viewer says this: "
Faulting application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 12.0.4.0, time stamp: 0x4d9d8f8e
Faulting module name: MSVCR90.dll, version: 9.0.30729.6161, time stamp: 0x4dace4e7"
I am on a windows 7 machine, totally current in all updates.
I have updated the adobe products as well. They all open fine (in the elearning suite: Captivate, Flash, Bridge, etc. Also I have Illustrator and Acrobat 9.0 which also open fine.).
Additionally I updated my Geoforce GTX 550 ti video card driver and the canon printer drivers.
I uninstalled a third party plug in (the only one I know of that I have installed) called "perfect resize" then reinstalled it, then updated it.
I uninstalled the elearning suite and reinstalled it, followed by updating the software again
I have uninstalled a 3D mouse I have and unplugged it (3dconnexion) but it was working fine for a long time and not used in photoshop.
I tried a few things listed on the Adobe forum to no avail (one person suggested disabling the scriptingsupport.8li, another suggested right clicking on the exe to open as administrator, another suggested trying to boot up in safe mode)
I have macfee on this machine and have scanned it for viruses, nothing was found
None of this has worked.
Anyone else have a solution out there? Many thanks in advance.
PS I tried to "chat" with an adobe rep who eventually said that I couldn't get help from them since there are newer photoshops out now, the response was "I am sorry for your loss."

Also I seem to be having troubles with the updating software stalling out.
Any help on CS5 crashing and the solution would be greatly appeciated!

Flash quiz templates question

Hi, I am still using flash 6.0, the version the school gave me, anyway first of all are there any updates available somewhere? I'm silll with the original 6.0000000 version.
Now, my main point, I am creating a flash quiz using the templates available, it's really easy and everything is going well. However, is there a way to redirect the user (getURL) if he has a percentage of say, 80% or higher? I'd really like to find a way, or else I'll have to go with a cgi or php script, but I don't really like those...

Ho...ho.
I am so exited to see the eLearning Suite 2. The functionality in Suite 2 are look much better than CS4 version. I just can not wait to get my copy and working on it. Also i looked at some of the sample demos on the elearning page on adobe, Adobe comes out with new and additional feature which are the best in the market. Khudos to all the eLearning Development Team. You Guys rock and make our day to day job so easy. Thank you again. DC
