Adobe form can be able to open lotus note

Hi Experts,
I have an requirement:
Adobe layout: Radio button for survey and push buttons.
Layout is completed and I can able to download PDF at my local desktop.
Same pdf I am sending to external system (non SAP) person via email attachment (which I am doing using outlook - Manual process).
Now the my requirement/query is once the external system person revive the mail, He will open the pdf document and clicks on the one of the push button "Approved" and a lotus note (IBM LOTUS) mail need to be opened with default Subject line and with mail Id "[email protected]".
Then external system person will add some line in the mail body and send it to the mail Id which is defaulted.
Please help me how can be achived?
Same set of function is happeing with Excel document and set of VB code.

Can't open lotus notes links with acrobat reader XI

We had acrobat reader 9 a few month ago. We did an upgrade to XI. Since the upgrade, we can't open lotus notes link in PDF. I receve a message : Could not open the file 'Notes://<server>/85256E990056A5F7/428FA5DA3ED9D82485256E6D005FA7AB/ED916EF56E1CC50B85257 545005AB67B'. (<server> is the name of my server)
The path is working. I can paste it in run and it's working. If I downgrade to reader 9, the link work with the same PDF.
I did some trace with procmon and I can see acrobat trying to open C:\WINDOWS\system32\Notes:\<server>\85256E990056A5F7\428FA5DA3ED9D82485256E6D005FA7AB\ED9 16EF56E1CC50B85257545005AB67B
I can't find anything about this issue...
anybody has an idea?

Adobe forms -Can we print multiple forms?

Right now my form has an ability to display a single Order with single Header & line items.

I want to enhance the functionality to multiple forms prints.I mean I will be having multiple headers and l ine items.
I can fill my internal tables with multiple records data but what are the other form changes should i take care( hierarchy, data, etc...)
In smartforms I was able to do this because there we can define loops.How do we handle it here in adobe forms?
FYI.. I am filling internal table through WD application.Should I do Some context level changes?

In Dev environment I can see my Bold objects but when i move it to QA they are disappearing & font is also changing.What could be the reason?

Can't able to open CP (ver 5) file in Captivate 7(trial version)

I have .cp files, I think those files are from Adobe Captivate 5.0 or 5.5 version. I downloaded trial version of Adobe Captivate but those files are not opening in 7. Is there any way I can able to open.
While opening .cp file, its giving error like below screen. Can anyone able to guide to open file in captivate 7?? or any converter avaialble?
also, I seen some forums where it says there may be hidden file but I didn't get it.

Only way is to try to get somewhere a copy of 5.5, as an intermediary step. And even then, converting a cp to cptx will need a lot more work. The remake was very drastic, text may shift or change fonts, you have to be sure that everything was AS3 (because CP4 still allowed AS2), question slides, animations will almost certainly cause problems. I really don't know about another way, sorry. After all we are talking about a time lag of more than 4 years, 4 versions (5, 5.5, 6, 6.1) have come and gone since, which is very long in software land

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.

I updated Adobe to XI, now able to open Reader but no document + it shuts down.

I updated to Adobe XI, even made sure my flash player was updated, also installed the plug in through the repair and no matter what I've done the same thing happens again and again. I double click the pdf document or I open the program and it's completely unclickable and then it shuts itself down in about 30 seconds. I'm unable to view any pdf document and unable to get "Help" from Adobe because when the program is open everything is unclickable. Please help.

Some things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

Will Adobe Indesign CS6 be able to open indesign CC documents directly?

Probably not. *Any* new feature in CC would make that impossible -- even though it's as little as a single new object (QR Code comes to mind; the "other" improvement, a Dark UI, cannot be transferred).
(Even if it's *technically* possible, why'd want Adobe support this? People then would not have to buy/subscribe to their new cloudy subscription scheme!)

Developing an Add-in for Adobe Reader to insert the PDF into Lotus Notes

We currently have a document management solution in MS Word & Excel, where by you can open/create a document click a button that is linked to a macro and it brings a Document Management screen up and allows you to save the file into a new Lotus Notes Document.
We are now trying to get the same functionality into Adobe Reader, whereby a user can open a PDF they have on their PC and then go to a menu item and it will perform similar function to our macro/VB that we have setup in MS Word & Excel.
Does anyone know of anyone who has developed such an idea or could point me in the right direction of where to start developing as I have never developed any add-in/plug-ins for Adobe Reader.
This needs to be done really in Visual Basic, but any help would be great

You start by downloading the Acrobat SDK.
In the SDK is information about developing a plugin for Reader, which will require you to obtain a license from Adobe. Submit the necessary paperwork to see if you are approved. It doesn’t make much sense to start development if you don’t get approval.
Once approved, you will want a copy of Adobe Acrobat for development as it’s easier than developing with Reader.
Plugins are developed in C/C++ and there are samples in the SDK.

Since downloading Firefox 4, I am unable to open attachments in my Lotus notes e-mail account, but not if I open Lotus notes via Internet Explorer.

I recently downloaded the latest version of Firefox (I have been using older versions for the last two years). However, when using my Lotus Notes e-mail account (through the University of Dayton), I immediately was unable to open e-mail attachments (both new e-mails and older, saved e-mails with attachments that had previously been opened. The word "attachment" appears at the end of the message (in light grey), but does not respond to the cursor. I have delayed working on this problem, because if I open Internet Explorer instead of Firefox, my Lotus Notes account will allow me to view new and past attachments. It seems that the new Firefox has changed some security setting that does not relay attachments with my incoming or stored e-mails. Suggestions--or should I continue to just always open with Internet Explorer?

Open Lotus Notes from R/3 transaction

Hi ,
I have a requirement to add a button in an ALV report to send a mail. But when the user press that button the lotus notes must be opened with the information displayed on the screen.
How do I achieve this request?

Got data from the TBL1024 table,but can;t able to open PDF

I currently working on a program where I am reading an archived document(PDF file)
using the FM ARCHIVOBJECT_GET_TABLE.This FN returns the document in form of a table of type TBL1024.
For my application(Servlet class),I am reading x bytes of the binary representation of the document.Since the document is inside a table as binary format.
When i download the PDF file it will not open but it will error window "the current file is either not supported or becasue
the file has been damaged".
Is that I am missing some thing...

I think your issue will be length conversion needed to be done before downloading .
For display a archieve document you can use fm DOCUMENT_SHOW_DIRECT

What is the file name?
What is the file path or URI?
