I RECENTLY PURCHASED CC(PREVIOUSLY USING CS6) AND INSTALLED PHOTOSHOP CC ON MY PC WITH WIN 8, I7-3770, 16GB DDR3, 2G NVIDIA 670 GPU, 120GB SSD. AND I AM FACING A WERIED PROBLEM, LIKE
WHEN I APPLY HIGH PASS FILTER TO A LAYER IT NOT AFFECTING IMMEDITELY I NEED TO ZOOM IN OR ZOOM OUT IN ORDER TO GET THE FILTER TO AFFECTED, ALSO MY LAYER THUMBNAIL ALSO SHOWING CHECKED BOXS
WHEN I APPLY LEVELS TO MY LAYERS, LEVELS HISTOGRAM GRAPH IS NOT SHOWING, ONLY AFTER PRESSING AUTO IT SHOW THE GRAPH
I DONT WHY THIS HAPPENES, SOME ONE PLEASE HELP IN TO SORT OUT THIS ISSUE

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Problem

I have successfully installed Photoshop CS6 to my computer. However, when I open the front page to CS6 everything "freezes up", and I cannot open any of the tabs - not even the file or close tabs.
Have uninstalled and re-installed the CS6 several times with no effect. Am installing from a boxed disc that I purchased from Adobe.

CS2 Premium reinstalling Adobe Photoshop activation problems

To Whomever it Concerns,
After recently upgrading my computer's CPU, Memory and Graphics it became necessary to singularly reinstall my Adobe Photoshop (inc. Illustrator & Bridge) since I don't use the other members of the CS2 Premium Suite I made this a custom installation. Everything is working correctly with the exception of my Adobe Activation Warning System.
As you know Adobe no longer supports the CS2 Product you sold me which is your decision regardless of my belief of how good customer service should work. Your Web Site Trouble Shooting Guide states:
Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software. The serial numbers provided as a part of the download may only be used by customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products.
I did legitimately purchase this product and once again I disagree with Adobe and wish to continue using my CS2 Photoshop, Illustrator & Bridge.
Am I to ignore your Warning System continually as I use my product? Is there another way to peacefully resolve this conflict? or Are you going to make this ugly and insist I buy yet another updated Adobe Product that you will still continue to support (for the time being)? My wish is simply to continue using my Photoshop without threats or problems from Adobe...can you help?

You can keep using CS2 without further cost. It just requires a few steps to remove the activation version and replace it with the non-activation version.
Uninstall your CS2.
Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Download the non-activation version of CS2 from the above link. It's valid for CS and CS2 owners.
Install then enter the new non-activation serial number provided at that link. Your existing CS2 serial number will no longer work.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 - Problem with Trial

I recently downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 directly from Adobe as it is the latest version my Mac supports. Upon start up, I am greeted with two options: a) I have a serial number for this product. and b) I want to try Adobe Photoshop CS3 free for 30 days. Seeing how I am simply looking to evaluate and have not purchased said product, I selected option b.
However, upon clicking "Next >" I am greeted by an error. "Problem with Trial" I am left with nothing but wasted time. This is the first time I have ever installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 so I do not understand why it will only allow access with a serial number. Any help to allow me to try this software is appreciated.

Could the trial have a time bomb in it that prevents use after several years? There's not much of a need for Adobe to allow trials to run for so long after the product's life cycle has concluded.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Problem

I have a Dell Pc, Windows Vista Ultimate, 4 Gb of Ram.
I just install Adobe Photoshop CS4 and i got this problem "When i open a new document, the new document show with lines on it,i can;t works with those line "black lines: i don't, if it's configuration problem of the software or something else. Please help me!!

Adobe Photoshop CC, problem with color noise/pixelation on the monitor display

After downloading Adobe Photoshop CC, my images come in with color noise/pixelation on the monitor display. I've tried checking the color space preferences, but this doesn't help. I didn't have this problem before. Is there anything else I can check? There's no problem with LR, just Photoshop.

My performance settings are: Available RAM 10905 MB/using 7633 MG (70 percent); cache levels 4, history 20, cache tile size 1024K. However, I noticed under Graphics processer settings, it is set on Advanced Drawing Mode - perhaps this should be changed to Normal or Basic Mode? Your help is very much appreciated.

Adobe Photoshop CC problem: can't open file

Hi!
We've got a project in animation by using only photoshop. I decided to use adobe photoshop cc because it's what I have.
I have made my first scene that is 3d. It was saved as a psb with 261 mb used.
This morning, I should be continuing the project but I could not open it anymore.
Could you please help me with this problem? I need a solution as soon as possible. Plaease give time to reply. Thank you.

Nobody can know anything. You have not provided any system info, details about the file, screenshots, other technical details. That aside, you should simply get used to the thought that the file may be damaged beyond repair and instead of waiting for magic to happen simply start over and make sure you actually save multiple versions and backups.

Adobe Photoshop Elements problem

When I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 on my Mac, I made a stupid mistake (didn't realise at the time what i was doing, but...oops.) To keep all my art-type software together, i dragged it into a folder. Now, when I try to update it, it says 'Can't update - unable to locate files. I uninstalled it, then re-installed: this hasn't helped at all. Same problem.
I can use the program - tho don't know how much I'm unable to access because of this.
Any helpful suggestions?
One other slightly related problem: I have a Wacom Intuous 2 A4 Oversize. When I installed this & tried to use it, the pen/mouse work on tablet, but a message comes up: 'No Driver Installed. Visit website to install'. I've done this several times, the correct driver appears to install with message saying it's been successful, yet when I try to use it, 'No driver' box appears.
I've tried uninstalling the whole app, then reinstalling; no luck. I know it should work with my Mac, as it's fine with someone who has the identical Mac set-up & Wacom as mine. (Shame i've lost her number...)
Once more, any ideas gratefully received.

If you didn't put the PSE folder back into the top level of applications before you ran the PSE uninstaller (you did use the uninstaller, right?), I'm afraid you've made kind of a mess that's going to take some rooting around to sort out. You need to download and run this:

(I'm hesitant about linking this version, but the older cleanscript isn't available any longer, so it's what you'll have to use--PSE is based on the PS code). Then look around and manually remove what you can find. Don't use Spotlight to search--it won't find these kinds of files. You want to look in Library>application support>adobe particularly (note that this is the library at the top level of your hard drive, not system>library or your username>library).
EDIT If you have any other adobe products installed, I would deactivate/remove them before using this, regardless of what the technote says.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP INSTALL PROBLEMS

Ok so downloaded a trial from here (NEVER EVER HAD ADOBE INSTALLED BEFORE) and hit the error everyone else has been having.
I am on windows 7 64Bit etc
So I have been reading the forums all week and trying everything
- permissions and ownership (changed everything I could)
- Creating a new user as admin and again changing permissions/ownership
- Making sure i am in simple startup mode with everything off (antivirus/firewall) etc etc
- sfc/scannow DONE No errors
- misexec/unreg and regserver done
- run the adobe cleaner (just incase)
- Changed compatibility mode to vista and also tried xp sp 3
Here is my log. I probably have a LOT of logs on the PC as i have attempted to install it about 100+ times.
Also i have downloaded just cs5 and also sc5.5 master suite and neither work. I dont even want the other stuff just photoshop...

Cs adobe photoshop.. problems to activate it

We have long time ago installed Adobe Photoshop CS v.8 to an old pc. We don´t have this old PC anymore..Now we are trying to install this software to an other pc.
We tried to install this software to an other PC. We gave the serial number and get the activation code. But then we get error that "you have entered an invalid authorization code. Verify the number, re-enter it and click next"... I asked help from the Adobe virtual help.. and they informed me that they are not helping with this issue, because the version of our software is so old... so we would be very pleased if some one could help with this issue. After I push Move Tool button I cannot use any of the buttons bellow in that tool bar, when I try any button after it on closes the program with windows error ''adobe photoshop cs6 has stopped working''

OK, it seems to have been narrowed down to the video driver, or to its settings.
What make and model video card do you have?
What is the number and date of the installed driver?
For OpenGL, what are your performance settings?

Leopard and Adobe Photoshop CS2 problems...

I've been reading the posts about Leopard and CS2 problems and have to say that I'm confused. A great many of you have had issues from the very beginning as soon as you upgraded to Leopard. I did not. I use a VERY basic set-up without third party plugins and suspect that to be why I had no problems. At least until now... I looked back through my documents to be sure, and my Photoshop was working beautifully through the first week of January. Somewhere between then and now there had to be an update from Apple that broke Photoshop. I haven't changed any settings since it last worked, and there certainly haven't been any updates from the greedy buggers over at Adobe because they don't support CS2 anymore apparently. What could Apple have updated that might have accidently corrupted my Photoshop?? I don't really feel it could be anything else, but who knows... Does anyone have any ideas? I would hate to have to downgrade to OS 10.4 just to use my Photoshop and I certainly can't afford to shell out the extra $$ for CS3.
I appreciate any light you guys can shed on the topic...

Actually the 10.5.2 update does seem to have improved things for me with Photoshop CS1. I can now actually type entries into the little boxes for things like crop and brush sizes. The File Browser is still prone to crashing the application though, and there is still some weirdness with opening files by a drag and drop onto the app icon in the Dock. But nothing got worse, and several annoyances disappeared.
One thing to try is to create a brand new admin test user, with no additions (that includes not adding fonts), log into the new account and see if Photoshop will work there.
And speaking of fonts, do you have Linotype's Font Explorer installed? If so, did you get the new updater for it? Some people who use Font Explorer were having a lot of problems after the 10.5.2 update, including Photoshop failure to launch, that were fixed with the Font Explorer update.
