Adobe Premier and Dreamweaver Hanging Up

I'm running an 8 core i7 process with a RAID Zero and to other solid state drives with 24 gigs ram and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 on windows 7 64bit and for some reason I'm experience more and more hang ups, locking up when using Premier and Dreamweaver. There are some serious performance issues with Adobe CC. I'm running very powerful machines and I do not expect these constant crashes and hang ups. Working with fluid grid layouts in Dreamweaver is a nightmare. I take about a minute to three minutes for a web page to wake up after opening it in Dreamweaver to work on it. This totally destroys the possibility of a smooth workflow. Same thing in Premier, I'll be editing a project and suddenly the software goes white and then premier says it's low on resource or something and sometimes it will not totally crash and other times it will totally crash. It's hard to take time out to explain this to you people, as your customer for almost two decades I'M SICK OF BEING YOUR BETA TESTER AND HAVING TO PAY FOR YOUR PRODUCTS

How to work between adobe muse and dreamweaver in different computers?

Hi there,
i am working with muse and I have a dev who is helping with some code working in DW. I need to be able to update in muse and keep the same changes the developer mades in Dreamweaver.
What I have been doing to date is linking the business catalys to dreamweaver and it works till a certain stage.
I wish I could do all changes and then update but my ' boss' keeps changing mind on structure and look of the site

There is no backwards compatibility between Muse and Dreamweaver. You cannot mix the two programs.
Well, I shouldn't say you can't because you can but it is very tricky and depends on how you have it set up. If Dreamweaver has to make changes to the actual pages made in Muse you will break compatibility with Muse.

Open the program and click Edit >>Preferences >>Scratch Disks
This should show the amount of spare memory for performing tasks.
If low you could add more disk space e.g. an external hard drive rather than main memory.
In general the software pre-dates Windows 7 but if it will run on Vista it should perform satisfactorily on W7.

i find the error msg come from the file "AIRSettings.js",
it's appear the var jreversionObj cannot retrieve the good version
of jre who is installed on my os ..
i do not understand why .. so i comment the line who check
this.. and at last, i can acceed to the AIR panel settings in
dreamweaver CS3,
but now, when i try to compile my Air app.. i have the msg
where i have to make a certificat,
i try it, but have an error msg say "Error creating the
digital certificate file. An error log was created"
and in the AIR error log file : i have some unknow caracters
in file like "Y" with 2 point on it..
any advice to solve this ?

Does Adobe Premier Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6 support the graphic found in the new late 2012 27" iMac?

Hi there guys! I´m very, very, VERY close to buy a full configuration iMac (the late 2012 27" model) but I have reed in different forums that Adobe Premier Pro CS6 and other applications from Adobe such as After Effects DO NOT support the graphic cards found in the new iMacs....
is this true??????
i really wouldn´t understad the logic behid the decission of picking a graphic card that is not supported by one of the leading video editing sofrware used today.... specially when this computer is suppoused to be an Editing Animal....

Hi there Daniel, thanks for paying attention to this subject. Today I got an answer from Larry Jordan from his blog (I believe he is one of the "videoguys" from http://videoguys.com and he said that actually adobe does not support those GPU that we will find in the new late 2012 iMacs. However it seems there is a way to make that work out.....
here is his review on his new iMac, at the very botton you will see comments from people and his answers... one of the last coments is mine regarding this subject, this is what I asked and his answer:

Adobe Premier Crashing in w7 64 bit

Hello people... im new to adobe premier and i recently downloaded the trial version. The problem im having is after a short time within the program it crashes. For example i can watch maybe 2 minutes of video within the program or render the video to 40.98%.
I have a dell xps 8100 series computer. Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz, 3 gb ddr3 1333MHz, 7200 RPM HDD.
Any help would be apreciated.

I think you probably need to give a little more information about what you're trying to play and do. Here are some general thoughts and suggestions.
3gb of RAM is okay, but by no means spacious. If you're trying to edit a really long clip that is HD, that could be part of your problem. Check to see how much free ram you have when you have Premiere Pro open.
Are the clips/media you're editing MPEG2 based media? If so, the audio waveform needs to be generated first and so again, if it's a long clip, it may be still doing this as you're trying to export something.
The trial does not have all of the codecs that ship with the product, so this may be part of the problem.
Are you using a c: drive for OS, media and Premiere Pro application? That's a bad thing...

I don't know if you can 'update' the trial, but if you go under the help menu, you can try.
look at your system logs to get a clue on what's causing the crash.
That's what I have off the top of my head. Hope it helps.

I took your advice and in the Capture window there’s an option near the bottom right that states “Capture” and below that is a button “In/Out”. I guess this is what you are talking about. So I click on the button, “In/Out” and I get a pop up the states, “Invalid time code range”. How is the average use supposed to know what this cryptic message is saying? (user unfriendly).
I see two icons that look something like brackets that is to the left of the play button. I clicked on these but nothing seems to happen. I don’t know what is going on. (user unfriendly).
Perhaps since I need just a typical You Tube video, I should purchase video capture software that is more users friendly and less intuitive. That being said, MS Movie Maker does not show the option “Capture from video device” I may try video capture software on CNET.com that is recommended and has a money back guarantee. I paid a lot of money for my Adobe Premier, but being that I am in Windows 7, perhaps it is time to retire Adobe.

QuickTime 7.5 Causing Adobe Premier Hang?

I am experiencing problems using Adobe Premier Elements 4.0. While creating projects in Premier and when previewing a .mov file inserted into a Premier timeline Premier hangs when it reaches the .mov file and the Premier app must be restarted. This also happens while editing .mov files in a timeline. I understand from the requirements of Premier that QT must be installed in order to utilize .mov files in Premier and to export 264 so I installed QT7.5 Pro.
I went to the Adobe Premier Elements discussion forums and there are numerous complaints of the Premier app (and other Adobe apps) not running properly when updating to QT versions newer than 7.3.1. Posters in Adobe forums of course are pointing the finger at QT since their programs worked fine until the update after QT7.3.1. I have seen it mention that QT is somehow disabling some Premier drivers needed to operate properly.
Just wondering if anyone in this forum has experienced this issue or know of fix? I really don't want to change all my .mov files to another format before importing them into Premier.

Illustrator (CS3) works fine, so does InDesign but Photoshop crashes telling "Could not complete your request because of a program error." It worked ok before updating QT 7.5.

Dreamweaver and inDesign hang on launch

I am running Mac OS 10.7.4 and suddenly both Dreamweaver and inDesign hang on start up. Is there any tech support out there that can lead me through this problem?

I would test to see if you get the same behavior in a new account with administrative rights and try deleting the user preferences for these two apps.

Adobe 'fixes' for Flash and Dreamweaver

According to what I've been reading, Adobe added fixes to
Dreamweaver 8.02 to deal with the Active Content problem created by
Microsoft when Flash animations are embedded in web pages. Since I
have an earlier version of Dreamweaver and Flash and am having
problems like everyone else with that issue, would some 8.02 user
kindly inform me if this is indeed the case, and what does one do
in the new version to ensure Flash active content runs as intended?
Is it something that one must still manually add to the code in an
.html file, is the correction added automatically, is there an icon
to press....just how is the new feature/fix used and incorporated?

Basically after you update if you add a flash file you get
this code added to the html file:

You dont really have to do anything other then remember to

Generally, it's ok to install on two machines as long as they are both yours and you only use one version at a time.

Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and Premiere Elements 13 are standalone products.
So, you can have both on the same computer, but only open one for your work.
The classical recommendation is to finish a project in the version in which it was created since there
is no guarantee that a project from an earlier version will open in the later version. Probably will, but
no guarantees. And, when you do explore this, do it from a copy of the earlier version project. Once you
take the earlier version project into a later version one, you cannot go back to edit the later version edited
project in the earlier version program.
If you have both versions (9 and 13) on the same computer and you have not moved, deleted, renamed any of the version 9's files/folders,
right click the saved closed Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project file, select Open With, and then Adobe Premiere Elements 13.
(Your 9.0/9.0.1 saved closed project file should be found in Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/9.0.)
