Adobe Presenter failed to open because either it is not licensed or there is an error.. Help!

I have been using registered version of Adobe Presenter ( I have a serial number) for some time. Now I receive the following error message:
"Adobe Presenter failed to open because either it is not licensed or there is an error in the licensing system. Please close and re-launch PowerPoint and enter
serial number to license it. If this problem persists, reinstall this product and try again."
The registration page pops up but just briefly--too fast to click the accept/decline buttons. I have tried deleting the Office and Adobe preference files under User as well as uninstalling/reinstalling but the error message persists making presenter unusable. I also tried to install just a a trial version but also receive the same error message.
System is Win 7. As I said I have been using it for over a year successfully.
What can I do to fix this?

Thanks Nirupam. Here are the answers.
The hardware for recording audio is simple mini-phone plug to mini-phone jack in the back of the computer. The driver is HD compatible (Microphone High Definition Audio Device)
After recording, I am able to replay it, but Powerpoint crashes soonafter, and not predictably.
So far I have added no markers or specified any actions.
Specifically, I have taken enumerable actions-- some of these per suggestions made in this forum (to the letter). Perhaps the most frequent action is to drill into Powerpoint options, and re-enable the Adobe Presenter add-in.
I have been able to apply neither the 7.05 patch nor the 7.06 successfully. Both failed (the error message said it wouldn't apply to this version of Presenter. Again, it's Presenter_WWE.exe).
I can see that you have ramped this up to known bug status. I appreciate that and am sure you'll come up with a rock solid solution.
As I've said earlier, one of Adobe's strengths, for me, is that they understand the needs and idiosyncracies of faculty. Faculty cannot handle geek solutions (like changing registries). After frustration, they will abandon and move on.

Unable to "try" trial version... "Adobe Presenter failed to open because..."

After installing the trial version of Presenter 7, and launching it in PowerPoint (2007)... each time I go to the "Adobe Presenter" tab, in PowerPoint, and try to click on any button (on the toolbar - for example "Help")... I see a dialog flash on the screen - for a brief moment... then it immediately goes away.
Then, if I click on "Help" again (or any other button), I get the following error dialog:
"Adobe Presenter failed to open because either it is not licensed or there is an error in the licensing system. Please close and re-launch PowerPoint and enter serial number to license it. If this problem persists, reinstall this product and try again."
Yeah, it's not licensed (yet) - it's a freshly installed "trial" version.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can get Presenter 7 working so that I can effectively evaluate it - to see if it will meet my needs or not?

First of all we would like to suugest you to follow the steps as mentioned below:
1.Please clear the preferences for microsoft office and Adobe Presenter.
This will delete all the settings that you have done in office suite of products and presenter.
Next time when you lauch office , it will have the default setting enabled.
Delete the "Office" and "Adobe Presenter" folder available at the following locations :
    Win XP :
    installed drive(C: or D:)\Documents and Settings\UserName(this is your user account)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office
    installed drive(C: or D:)\Documents and Settings\UserName(this is your user account)\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Presenter
   Win 7:
    installed drive(C: or D:)\Users\UserName(this is your user account)\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Presenter
    installed drive(C: or D:)\Users\UserName(this is your user account)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office
2. Restart the machine
3. Launch Power Point and use presenter. It should work properly.

Your solution worked when applied to a administrative user account but did work with a student account.
I'm not sure why that is happening.
If you're on Vista or Windows 7, you could try setting the program to run permanently as Administrator, as described here:

I was updating Firefox from version 6 to version 7, after updating I tried to open Firefox and the message I got is this: This application has failed to start because xul.dll was not found. How can I fix this?

I was updating Firefox to the newest version 7.0.1 from version 6.0.2 I think it was, I clicked the restart Firefox button that always comes up after updating. It started updating and then Firefox never restarted like it was supposed to after it was done updating. I then tried to open Firefox and it told me "This application has failed to start because xul.dll was not found." I did have Firefox crash on maybe about 30 minutes or so earlier which bothered me because I have been using Firefox for years and never had it crash on me before but I didn't think much of it at the time it happened because I was able to go back onto Firefox and finish what I had been working on. A while later I checked for updates and updated. The first time I tried to update it didn't work though so I had to shutdown Firefox and reopen Firefox and start the update a second time. It was after the second time that when I tried to open Firefox I got that message about failing to start because xul.dll can't be found. I filed a crash report when my Firefox crashed. This would have been around 1am-2am in the morning that Firefox first crashed and then wouldn't allow me to open it after updating. I have a DELL laptop running the Windows XP operating system but the laptop is probably at least 6 or 7 years old. The laptop will no longer charge so I always have to have it plugged into an outlet. Both my laptop hard drive and my external hard drive give me messages that I am running out of disk space on my hard drive. I bought this laptop 6 or 7 years ago second hand so it could be even older. In short it's a piece of crap and it gives me all kinds of issues but I currently can't afford a new one, but I have never had any problems with Firefox and I use Firefox more than any other aspect of my laptop so it's really really bothering me. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. I've been using Firefox for about 3 years. Today, I ran a scan of my computer Webroot Anti Virus and deleted all "risky stuff" they checked. See if you can make Webroot restore that file in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).<br />
If not then you need to reinstall Firefox and make sure that Webroot doesn't do that another time.

I was given notification to upload the latest version of itunes recently, so I clicked installed. However it has since corrupted my itunes and I get the error message:
"This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".
In poor timing, I have also accidently damaged my phone and have a new one to restore it to an old back up.
It is because of this I am reluctant to completely delete itunes off my computer and start again for fear of losing my back ups.

Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7 x64 for windows 7
After uninstalling all apple products even quicktime
I had to delete everything from (program files, and program files x64, program data,)
And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted other stuff from apple, and itunes
But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start when done)
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version anyways.
Easier to download and transfer music!!!!!

I got the error message:
The document could not be printed
I googled this error message and used the following
solution that worked i.e. it then printed successfully.
Edit > Preferences
Category: Security(Enhancement) 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup'
It was checked, changed it to unchecked.
Category: Documents 'View documents in PDF/Mode'
It was set to 'Only for PDF/A'
Set it to 'Never'
Exited Adobe Reader and restart it. Then it printed.
I had a look on another computer system (Adobe Reader XI Version 11.0.10
and MS Window 7) and on this different computer I could print
without doing the above two changes.
I'm a bit puzzled. Why preferences on one system were not
needed on a different system?

Here is an elaborate method of troubleshooting this problem. There may be a simpler method if anybody wants to suggest one.
There is a general technique that is helpful in this situation. I can't give you complete instructions here, and I haven't tested this with regard to bluetooth devices, but here's the gist of it.
Create a second log-on account for your music projects. Configure it so that when you log in to the new music account, the drivers needed for the Bluetooth devices don't load. You do this in System Preferences: Accounts.
When it's time to do music, log out of your usual account and onto the new one.
When you install drivers for any peripheral, you have the option of installing them "for all users" or only for the user account that is active during the installation.
This governs whether the drivers go in root/library or root/Users/your name/library.
If drivers are in root/library, they will load whenever the Mac is booted up and will run for all users.
But if drivers are loaded in root/Users/your name/library, they will only load if you log in as "your name". If you have a second account called root/Users/music account/, and you log in under that, the drivers in "your name" will not load. Get it?
To get this working right you need to be knowledgeable about moving or deleting files in the /library/ directory and subdirectories, and you need to be careful because you can unwittingly cause some damage if you are not careful.
There is also the root/System/library directory, and in general you should never mess around with anything in there or you might hose your system.
In summary, I would start by using the installer programs for your BlueTooth devices and DE-installing all drivers. Reboot. Log back in as your usual user account. Then RE-install each driver and see if the installer program gives you the OPTION to installl for all users or just for this user. Choose the latter. Then log on to your new Music account and see if the problems go away.
