Adobe products are not recognized in my Internet Explorer 10 on my Win 7 64B professional

Adobe products are not recognized with my Internet Explorer. I cannot open PDF documents on websites and I cannot play MSN games since Flash Player is not found. I have tried manage add-ons and enable status without success. Can anyone supply detailed information on how to fix this problem?

Are you running IE10 in 64-bit mode?  The Adobe Reader plugin is 32-bit, and can only run on a 32-bit browser.
Regarding Flash Player, do you have ActiveX Filtering enabled?  Disable it.

    And if you are wondering why i want Internet Explorer to work if my  Firefox is working fine? i use Firefox's add-ons to help defend my  computer if i am downloading sum thing(which i have a lot of add-ons  that slow it down). And i use Internet Explorer because it is faster.

    Dear fellow Adobe users,
    I am having some trouble using my new Adobe Premium Desgin Premium CS5.5 software. The Wdiget Browser, Adobe Help and -all the other programs that need to connect to the Adobe server- do not work correctly!
    Somehow the adobe programs can't connect to the internet while my internet is working properly.
    I have tried:
    running as administrator.
    Editing the hosts file and flushing the DNS afterwards with ipconfig/flushdns
    Making exceptions in my firewalls
    Disabling my firewalls.
    I hope someone can help me fix this problem, because I do not know what to do anymore.

    Which Airport device are you using, an Airport Extreme, an Airport Express or both?
    Would please describe your set up? Do your have a modem/gateway from your ISP that is between the Airport device and the internet? If so, how is it configured? How is the Airport device configured? How is your Mac configured to connect to the Airport device?

    I'm using CS5 and my printer ist a Brother 2035. Since yesterday none of my adobe products print anymore.
    My system is the mac lion 10.7.2. Everything is up to date.
    I get no error message. It appears like the job was sent to the printer, but nothing happens.
    The preview and text programs from apple are still functioning.
    Did anyone have this problem before?

    Reevep9735585 are you using the registered serial numbers listed at http://www.adobe.com/?  You can find more details on how to locate your registered serial number at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.
    If you are using your registered serial number then how did you reinstall the software?  Also which operating system are you using?

    I recently replaced the logic board on my MacBook Pro and now I have problems with Photoshop CS4. I have the Design Standard Suite and all products are registered. When I go to https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html, however, none of them are listed. I don't have the serial numbers anywhere else and I would like to reinstall Photoshop. How can I get the Adobe Products to appear in my account?

    Thanks for your reply. The screen just says 'You have no registered products.' and doesn't seem to change. I tried registering each program again to make sure, but still nothing.

  • Adobe Plugins are not working for Firefox or Explorer 8

    HI There,
    my firefox and explorer do not open adobe reader files any more.  IN firefox it opens it in a different viewer and when it prints it prints the document as an artifact and the letters are not clear (almost looks like a blurry .jpg).   The plug in is installed but when I go to adobe reader under preferences then internet it says that the program is not available.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling acrobat and it still does not work.  I intalled the latest Java thinking that was the issue but still the same.  I can not find a way to delete and reinstall the plugins in Firefox or Explorer.  Are they built into the new Adobe Reader?  

    Can you guide me on how to change it to adobe reader as the default.  I can't figure out where this option is.
    I have to get access to the computer with the probloem to pull up the error message when trying to open a pdf file in Explorer.  I think it says that it can`t find the program or to try shutting adobe down and try again.

    Our web server is configured on windows 2003 server and IIS version 6.0 and has .net Framework (Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727).

    Have you tested this web portal in compatibility mode, Tools\Compatibility view settings? or click F12 to use the developer tool, change the the document mode and user agent string to 8, check the result.
    And under Tools\Internet Options\Security\Custom level, scroll down to "Scripting", enable "Active Scripting".
    Since you're developer of the web portal, it's recommended to post issue in IE development forum

  • Muse css FX are not correctly represented in Internet Explorer 11

    Hi there
    I was using Muse fx (glow/inner glow/shadows...) on objects since the beginning and as the update 2014.3.0.1176 came and these fx were changed to be made in css, I noticed that IE11 does not show them correctly anymore.
    All other browsers I use do.
    See here the difference which is small but makes a big difference over all and I really don't like it at all.
    Any other users noticed this and how is this addressed?

    Wow, that's bad. I suspect there's some specific pattern to how the pages are constructed that's causing IE to turn off GPU acceleration resulting in the choppy behavior. We're going to need your .muse file to understand how the site is built and attempt to isolate the root cause. Could you please send us the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread? If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

I am desperate. I cannot afford the expense of buying or paying access to the software and, still,  I need the tools for all those little things I do for enjoyment. What can be done?

    The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
    If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp.

    Each camera must be supported explicity and your LR version is years older than your camera.
    According to Adobe's Camera-support page, you need at least LR 5.3 to work with your D610 NEFs in LR:
    Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
    If you don't want to upgrade to LR 5, or can't due to your OS being too old, then it might work to use the latest DNG Converter and create DNGs from your NEFs, which should open in LR 4.x.  You can find the DNG Converter here:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates

    after build a .msi pack for the adobe product I choose to deploy, even with a simple lauch of the .msi on the computer, not all of adobe product are installed and some of them don't lunch correctly. for exemple Abode Acrobat Pro XI  doesn't appear in all program under seven x64 SP1 and appears in install/uninstall page but without the correct icon.
    During the quiet installation, explorer.exe is killed by the .msi installation and it's very slow too complet (about 2 hours even with the .msi pack on a cifs share with giga connexion
    Any ideas?

    If the downloads are gone, it's possible that Windows is removing the downloads based on security policies set in IE. I realize that sounds strange, but it's related to Firefox's feature of submitting downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.
    To test this theory, you could try disabling the scan feature. I assume you have good "real time" antivirus protection which checks every file saved to your hard drive. (If not, you really should get that, and you can use Microsoft's free [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Microsoft Security Essentials] for now until you have time to review all the available choices.)
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''scan''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click '''browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone''' to toggle its value.
    Firefox now should ignore Windows' download security. Does it change how Windows handles the file?

    I have lightroom 4 I've had it for years and it has imported my raw files from my CF card without issue . Now when I plug in my CF card to import new files it says import operations not performed and there are no image previews . When I continue by hitting "import" I get a pop up window that states "the files are not recognized by raw format support in Light Room"

    Don't feel too bad.  If the D4S has as many menus and custom functions as my Canon 5D Mark iii its easy to get messed up.
    If you downloaded from the link I gave you it will be Lr 5.4.   The link was just to show you when the D4S was supported.  The newest version is 5.7.1 and can be downloaded here.  Don't know your OS so you will have to pick Windows or Mac.   Product updates
    On my Mac I just run the downloaded installer program (its a full version and not an small update) and it installs the new version and erases the old version.  If you are on Windows you will have to get help from a windows person.
