Adobe Reader for Vista Shows Vulnerable, but THERE IS NOT THE VERSIN THAT MOZILLA SAYS T UPDATE TO? Where is it????
Mozilla keeps telling us we need to update to Adobe Reader version 11.0.10.32. Nowhere in the Adobe site is there such a version. Have looked, have contacted, so will Mozilla PLEASE TELL US WHERE? Additionally, this is being sent from my Vista OS, and Adobe has no Version 11 for Vista. SO neither my XP PRO systems not my Vista Systems will update to the Version Mozilla shows in the Add-ons Plugin Manager pages.
Adobe doesn't support Reader/Acrobat XI on Vista. Who knows why... as long as Help > Check for Updates in Reader/Acrobat says you are up-to-date, trust that information.

This seems to cause a certain amount of confusion. Your Adobe ID is not used to download or install Adobe Reader.
But when you install any software you are likely to need your own computer's administrator password. This password was chosen by you (or someone) the first time the computer was switched on, and is used to protect the system against bad things. -

Adobe reader for PC using Sony PRS T3--Can not sign in/read books
I bought a Sony PRS T3 that uses Adobe reader for PC(Available from https://ebookstore.sony.com/download)to download pdf books. First to set it up, I installed the software and plugged in the reader. I used the Reader Library app since I got my ebook from sony over a year ago never had real bad issures with it till now.. I look for updates and find this one only to have it hang my computer for such long periods of time... i have a quad core desktop with fairly new hardrives and lots of memory , in fact we use it to online game with heavy user apps..

your original Reader Library program did that it worked and you didn't need a degree to run it.

Adobe Reader for iPad mini IOS 8.0 will not load???
Loaded, deleted, multiple times. Restarted iPad multiple times. Will not load. Opens with blank screen, stays blank forever.
Here are a couple of things that you could try.
If you have iCloud backup before the iOS 8.0.2, you can restore the content of your iPad. See iCloud - Backup - Apple Support
You can completely uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader for iOS. Before you uninstall Reader, please be sure to make the backup of your PDF documents on your iPad. How to backup and restore PDF documents on your iPad/iPhone using iTunes
As a last resort, you could completely reset your iPad to factory settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset, and tap Erase All Content and Settings. Please note that you will lose all of your application data (including preferences) stored on your iPad if you do this. But you can download and install all of your free & paid apps again.
If none of the above works, it could be a hardware problem with your iPad. You may want to visit the Genius Bar at your nearby Apple Store. -

If your printer appears....not all printers are supported....click on the name to highlight it
Click the Add button to install the printer at the AirPort Express location
Try to print. You must choose the correct printer at the AirPort Express location since the printer is "installed" at other locations on your network.
If you open Print & Scan again, and select the printer at the AirPort Express, there is an option to make the printer the "default" location, so you do not have to choose which location to select when you want to print. -

PDF documents already on my MacBook Pro laptop open in Adobe Reader just fine. Rarely will someone attach a PDF to an email that I can open, view and save, but it has happened. I don't know why. Can anyone help me get Adobe reader 11 installed??? The error message when I'm practically done says the file can't be loaded because some files are already in use - and it refers to Adobe reader! What do I do to get past this??? Help! I need to install adobe!

Use the Acrobat Cleaner tool ( Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs ) to remove Reader completely from the machine.
Download Reader 11 from: Adobe - Adobe Reader Distribution and install and check.

I made a big mistake. I paid almost $500 for Adobe Acrobat and realized the whole time I was paying for a Windows version of the software. Is there any way I can change the software without having to buy a new license for the program?

A Screen Share is made up of two parts in iChat.
It is an Audio Chat with the Screen Share part along side.
The Screen Share is a VNC connection
The Router has to be using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) as the port the Screen Sharing part is on is a Random port.
Also check your ISP does not block VNC connections
The 10 Sec error message means something outside of iChat cause the connection to be broken.

Acrobat X Pro Drop-down Fields Do Not Appear on Adobe Reader for iPad. Help!

I am having a problem getting drop-down fields to appear on Adobe Reader for iPad. Basically, I need to create a form that includes drop-down fields, with the end result being a form that can be viewed and completed on an iPad, using the Adobe Reader app. Above all else, the end result needs to be viewable on an iPad.
I created a form using Acrobat X Pro within which drop-down fields work flawlessly. However, when I try to open this form on an iPad, the drop-down fields do not even appear. I have done some investigating on the Web (including these forums) and come to understand that this has to do with javascript limitations on Apple products, but have yet to discover a solution to my problem.
To summarize: does anyone know how to make drop-down fields appear in Abobe Reader for iPad app? Or, does anyone know a workaround in which I could have a drop-down menu (or something similar) in my form and have it work on Adobe Reader for iPad?

Thanks for the reply. I experienced the issue running the most recent version of the Adobe Mobile Reader app. I'm not sure I can convince the client to use anything else, but its worth a shot.
All I need is a simple drop-down list (multiple fields in the document) with 4 options that the user can select and submit as a form. Is this something EZ Pdf reader can do? Also, is EZ Pdf Reader free? (the reason I ask is I am an Android user and do not readily have access to a iPad).

Open comment pop-ups for highlighted text (on Adobe Reader for Android)
On my computer, I use the software Docear which allows to import highlighted text and comments from pdf documents. This function in Docear only works, if the reader copies highlighted text into the comment fields at the moment of highlighting. When using a reader on a PC, the settngs can be adjusted in order that this works. (Preferences>Commenting>Automatically open comment pop-ups for comments other than notes).
It would be very practical for me to do this on my tablet (Android). However, as far as I know, this is not possible in the Adobe Reader for Android. Or is there any possibility to do this? If not,would it be possible to include this on a wishlist?Hi,

External Hard Drive Mounts & Finder Quits
Upon updating this new iMac to 10.5.2 everything went well until I plugged in a particular LaCie external hard drive. Then the finder and desktop disappeared. Using Disk Utility to unmount the hard drive restored the desktop and finder. Remounting it
