Adobe says that my serial number is correct, but it can't find my product on my computer! HELP!!!???

Adobe says that my serial number is correct, but it can't find my product (standard design CS6) on my computer and then it tells me to pick my product from a list but the only product that is not there is mine!!! What can I do?

good to hear. i'm 2/2 for great experiences using adobe chat.

If you have a subscription for Adobe Acrobat XI Pro you won't require a serial number to serialize it . There will an option to 'Sign In' please click on that & sign in using your Adobe ID to serialize the product.
In case if you have a perpetual licence for your Adobe Acrobat XI pro you will require a 24 digit serial key starting form '1118' (1118-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ), please crosscheck it.
Also let me know for where did you download the Adobe Acrobat XI pro.

Mseixas you can try running the CC Cleaner Tool located at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and then reinstalling.

The qualifying product is the older version that you owned before you purchased the upgrade to version. It is what qualifies you to use the less expensive upgrade version. So you need to select the older version and provide its serial number to prove that you qualify for using the upgrade.

It is probably broken. You can try restoring it using Recovery Mode, but if that fails its time for a new phone. After all, it is 4 generations out of date. See: Recovery Mode

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

I did get the updates, but that’s all…
