Thank you very much for your answer. Finally I found the problem, and it wasn't about the number of links, overlays or buttons. Good news, the Adobe Viewer can support all of them! Maybe iPads are more performant than we expected!
The problem that caused the inexpectedly quitting was in my overlays. My presentation contents 3 pages as a repertoire of logos that links to a page of description of each of them. With my pop-up windows, I created a mask in transparency that covers all 3 pages by making a rectangle 3times the size of a regular page. Don't know if you understand.. ?! But the point is: it's not possible to create an overlay that interracts on multiple pages on the same time. The overlays had to be inside the workspace, 1024 X 768px in the iPad's case.
Also, I tried to import as PDF instead of PNG, but it created a blur when I arrived to the linking page on the article. PNG is probably better.

Adobe viewer crashing on ipad

My DPS presentation quit unexpectedly from the Adobe Viewer app on the ipad.
I notified that it's happen only in my article that contents a lot of multi-states objects and buttons in the same pages. In 3 pages, I made about 20 buttons creating 20 pop-up window (multi-states objects) and each state has 2 buttons inside. (one linking to a page in the same article an one other to close the pop-up window.) All the fonctions work but then crash after 4 or 5 times activated. Every pop-up window links to a different page in the article. My presentation has about 60 pages. (each contents a link to come back to one of the 3 pages and 2 others to a page in a different article of the folio -navto:// )
Does my article's page content too much links? Too much buttons?
Does Adobe Viewer application can support that much interactivity in a same article?
Are there a maximum pages for an article?
The format of my article is in PNG, is it better in PDF? Can it be the problem?
I'm looking for a solution, I have tried a lot of things but each time it's crashing again.

HTML Article performance issues in Adobe Viewer on iPad

I have created a HTML Article using DPS but when I come to view it on Adobe Viewer in iPad the content does not scroll smoothly and the content is cut off and cropped (the whole page is not displayed), it is very judery and struggles to render the HTML below 'the fold' so to speak.
I have tried both options for importing HTML into DPS and both have the same performance/lag isuues.
I have a video in my HTML that seemed to be causing an issue where the video streaming was struggling to be pulled through, so I have treid YouTube and Vimeo video streaming and the performance/display issue is not resolved. I then tried embbeding an mp4 directly using HTML5 to see if it was a connection/bandwidth issue and the problem still exists. However the videos do play, its just the fact that the container is cropped in half.
Sometimes the whole HTML article renders but then when you swipe back up the page it struggles to render the content above? Also then when you swipe back down the page the content is also cropped that was visible before?
I have reviewed every available discussion on the Adobe Community and other resources but all the fixes mentioned do not have any effect.
If anybody can assist or has been experiencing the same issues any advise would be welcome.
Oh, the HTML Article contains some JS too, it does function correctly but I was wondering if JS causes problems? Just a thought.

Well, I think I may have found the answer so I thought I would share with the Community incase anyone else experiences the same type of issues.
After testing another peice of HTML that also included video streaming and heavy JavaScript, I narrowed the issue down to my JS. I had two Nivo Slider Carousels that were the route of the performance issues.
The other test HTML Article scrolls smoothly and the video pulls in as intended, although once in a while there is a slight delay in the page scrolling up and down but this is hardly noticeable.
I hope this may be of some help to other's in the future?

Problem with "small black line in right margin" with Folio Builder / Adobe Viewer in Ipad. Id CC.

When I create a Folio Builder and I check my Id project in the Adobe Viewer (It happens in the Ipad App and in the Desktop Viewer), I can see a black line in the right margin (maybe 4 px). And I can't adjust my background (It's an object with a colour) to use the "full resolution available for the app in the ipad", and yes, I'm using rules and I can see that my background object it's 1024 x 768. I have tryed several projects and upgraded the project to the "30 version".
But I'm a new user with ID/DPS. So, is this a reported bug? Or I'm doing sth wrong?
And for me, the most important question, will this problem be solved when I send my project to the applestore and DPS transform my Folio to the Store? Or what I see now it's what I will see?

ASUS Transformer Pads are available with Windows RT, Windows 8 or Android (https://www.asus.com/us/Tablets_Mobile/Transformer_Pad_Products/). Flash Player is available for, and works with Windows RT and Windows 8, so I'd have to assume that you have an Android Transformer Pad, which the TF300T is (https://www.asus.com/us/Tablets_Mobile/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/). Android no longer supports Flash Player (for almost a year and a half now).
See: "Why can't I install Flash Player on my Tablet?" (Kindle or Samsung Galaxy) which lists specifically Galaxy and Kindle, but applies to ALL Android devices, and the support was dropped by the developer of the OS and not necessarily by the individual manufacturers of devices that run Android.

How to see in adobe viewer for iPhone5

I joined adobe and I got a e-mail from Adobe Digital Publishing Suite.
So, I logged in to the Digital Publishing Suite at https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/ yesterday.
after then I download the adobe viewer app to my iPhone5 and I loged in successfully.
I have made a test page by indesign program, I can't find this in my i phone.
but I can see this at https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/app.html
how can I see my test page through my phone?

Unless you made a folio at an iPhone size, it won't show on the phone. Make sure you made the folio at one of the three sizes the phone viewer supports: https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/creating-dps-content-iphone.html

Distribute publication via Adobe Viewer.app on iPad?

Is there anything to stop someone from publishing a publication via the Adobe Viewer.app on the iPad? I realize this wouldn't be ideal, since it's a non-branded viewer, etc., but legally, is this "against the rules"?

Sorry, maybe I gave the wrong impression.
What I meant was, is there anything against my sharing a publication via the Adobe Viewer.app on the iPad. I'm not talking about sharing an IPA, I'm talking about sharing the publication within the Viewer.app. For example, I create the publication in InDesign and once it's complete, I then "Share" it via the Folio Builder panel to the people I want to share it with (roughly 50-60 people). Then, using their Adobe ID, they could log in, via the Viewer.app on the iPad, and download the publication to their device.
Again, not ideal since it's not branded (ie. you have to access the publication via the Viewer.app), but it's a free solution. Not that I'm looking for a free solution, but since doing what I've been asked to do by my client — ie. release a 1-off, in-house app via an iOS Enterprise Developer Account — requires a minimum $50,000+ buy-in for the Adobe DPS Enterprise Edition subscription, this seems like my only option (outside of not using the Adobe DPS).

IPad 1 and Adobe Viewer Conflict

I am at the last steps on publishing an Adobe DPS Single Edition App, to Apple.
As i have tried to update the version of the Adobe Viewer on my iPad on the App Store it was rejected, informing that my device only supports up to the System Version: 5.1.1.
1) Can i expect any version of the Adobe Viewer to work compatible with my iPad 1, using a Folio created with the latest version of Indesign and Adobe DPS as a creative cloud subscriber?
I already have the Development ipa file from DPS App Builder downloaded to my Mac and as i try to sync my iPad to run the development App it is also rejected due to system version conflict .
I really need to make the final tests before publishing to Apple as the client is waiting.
2) Do you have any suggestion for a solution on my topic?

Very very bad news... this has created a big trouble to me because I told to a customer that I was able to create app for Ipad 1 ...
Actually when I read this information I understand that you are talking about APP (and what is a "single edition app" ???).
R28 DPS App Builder will create V28 and V27 apps. Will the V28 app not work on iPad1?
Correct. With R28 DPS App Builder, you can create a V27 app that would continue to work on iOS 5, and thus, on iPad1. Adobe DPS will certify this V27 app on iOS 7 as well. However, this app will neither take advantage of the significant UI upgrades that Apple has made in iOS 7 nor the AirDrop feature.

Adobe Viewer & iOS 8.0.2 problems

Since updating my iPad to iOS 8.0.2 the Adobe Viewer does not work. I can see the empty shells of the folios but the place holder images have gone and the folios will not open. I can preview a single folio direct to the pad from the mac but one i click back to the Library the folio will not re activate.
I have noticed the same problem when in the newsstand trying to look at folios within the Adobe Inspire magazine. Again can see the titles but no images and wont open.
Is this an Adobe or apple problem??

"Adobe Viewer" - Do you mean Adobe Reader for iOS? Are you trying to open PDF documents or something else?
Would you post sceenshots showing "the empty shells of the folios"?

Adobe Viewer iPad Error - with iPad Screen Grab

I've followed the tutorial to create a interactive publication:

I installed the Adobe Viewer on my iPad and signed in. I can see the "City Guide Monthly" publication as an icon in the viewer but when I then click on the Download button I get an error as shown in the screen grab below. Any ideas why? It all previews fine on my Mac.

The Viewer on iTunes has not been updated yet. This an Apple issue since they take forever to approve everything.
You'll need to wait a bit until they get around to it.
BTW, there's dedicated forum for DPS. Please post follow up messages there.

Invalid Code Signing Entitlements - Adobe Viewer?

I have had this problem during the past few days. At this point I need some help because I tried a lot of things to resolve it but it wasn't possible. When I send my App to Apple with 'Application Loader', this error appears again and again:
I know that it means, but I don't know how resolve it. I created a several new certificates and bundle id, I'm using just roman letters [A-Z, a-z] and numbers... I'm desesperate. I'm writing that here because if you read the lines of the image, you can see that the error is in 'viewer.app/viewer', and that smells like something wrong with Adobe Viewer. It's possible?

Thanks for the email. The issue has been fixed. I had a problem with my mobile provision prefix. Although once I submit the zip file via application loader to the iTunes, shortly after accepting it, they email me (please see attached) some warning with regards to CF Bundler.
I’ve searched in DPS forum and found out that apparently regardless of this warning, Apple still will publish my app. (although apparently it will take about two weeks for the app to be approved).
I tried to see if I can rectify this warning, but left it for the moment as it seems it won’t effect on approving and publishing my app.

Viewing DPS folios in internet browser

Hi,
Pretty sure the answer is no but just wanted to be sure. I have a client who has asked if it is possible to take a folio created in DPS and put it on a website to view. Is this possible? If not are there any alternative platforms where you can view your folios through a website?

Yes, you can display DPS content in a browser on a computer. This feature requires a Professional or Enterprise DPS subscription. It's not available through Creative Cloud / Single Edition.
