AE Work Flow Error in creating request. Path Not Found

Hi There,
I am working on GRC 5.2
I Have lot of questions regarding this tool...
I am getting this error when i am trying to submit a request..
Please help me in configuring the AE and guide me with the basic setup.
Work flows and rest of the things..

I have done config using Guide...
I am able to submit request from the GRC end ...i am getting this below status message
Request successfully got created and got approved with provisioning. Request no : .
Approval Path Status
(Status : APPROVE)
1. Auto-Provision ( Status : Approved )

But nothing is changes in ECC system..as per the above request when the system complete the request User ID should be created automatically in the back end but its not happenning.
Please guide me

In the installation document, after adding Eclipse it says:

Nowhere in the install doc does it mention anything about NetExpress.

Actually I was happy to soon.
After installing Net Express, I don't get that message anymore but nothing at all is happening. Eclipse should be starting according the the install guide. I am starting to wonder how accurate that guide is since quiet a few things are missing already. This is really frustrating.

CIM.bat giving error that weblogic lib path not found

I am using atg 9.1 and weblogic 10.3.2. Installed both s/w and started weblogic server. I am using cim.bat to configure and I am stuck at a point where it asks for the app server I am using and I selected 'Weblogic' and when it asked for the path..I gave the correct path where weblogic is installed...but it says Weblogic lib path not found...even though I can see the server/lib directory...could you please help ?

Yes, I did that...my weblogic is installed in c:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3.2 and CIM gives a message that [c:/Oracle/Middleware/wlserver_10.3.2/server/lib] weblogic lib path not found
Also I see c:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3.2\server\lib directory and all the required weblogic files available in that directory.

Ambiguious work flow error while creating SC

If you get kind of error when system is unable to detect any workflow while creating SC.Try to see the condition in workflow.
I feel that two Workflow are trigerred for same SC.
Please check the setting for workflow for Shopping Cart.

Error "request method not found" in Collaboration?

Hi,
using Collaboration Instant Messaging, after a brief time without chat activity, casts the error popup message "request method not found"
After this message, user click OK and message close, but from that moment, beginning to have problemas navigating, clicking any tab, Portal is always going to the first tab (default page) and is trapped there.
choosing any tab in Top Level Navigation, always return to initial page (the first tab in TLN). (navigation is like "hang")
In addition, Collaboration Instant Messaging becomes offline, and no longer allow user to reconnect. Most of users has problems with online status, some users never appear in green, and others can turn online, but after several minutes, turn offline suddenly.
Version is EP 7.0 SP12
Any help will be appreciated

Error creating request. Path not found

Hi,
We are trying to create a request in CUP. We have given input in all the mandatory fields like Requester Name, Manager Name, Application and we have selected Roles. Those roles were already assigned to approvers.
When we press the APPROVE button, it is asking to Approve. After clicking APPROVER button, it is giving error like u201CError creating request. Path not foundu201D.
Please check and advice me where we are missing while creating request in CUP.

Thanks for your reply. We have created two conditions under Initiator with AND and AND. We have cleared and we are not getting error like Path not found.
Now we are getting error like "Error creating request. Approver not found".
We have selected the Manger name in the request which we have defined in the Custom Approver Determinater. Still we are getting the error like Approver not found.
Please check and correct me.

Error while creating request list Unable to detect the SAP system directory

We are upgrading SAP BW (NW 7.0 EHP1) to SAP BW (NW 7.3)
source OS: Windows 2008 R2, source DB: MSSQL server 2008 R2 SP1 CU3
I had started the upgrade by running: STARTUP.BAT
I had started the DSUGui on the server (CI / DB on the same server) from: D:\usr\sap\BP1\upg\sdt\exe\DSUGui.bat
I ran both programs (run as administrators).
Once SAP Gui connects and was able to create userid/ password and when ready to start the initialization phase (click next)
gives me the error
Error while creating request list - see preceeding messages. Unable to detect the SAP system directory on the local host
I had tried STARTUP.BAT "jce_policy_zip=Z:\export-import\downloads\jce_policy-6' and still the same error.
I had started DSUGui.bat with trace and the trace file contents are

When using copy request option to create a request similar to another user and creating 10 user IDs simillar to other ID, Iam getting error" error in creating request".
When I look at log report it is giving Ora-XXXXXX error Unable to save the request.

This looks more like an Oracle problem; did you check everything's ok regarding tablespaces, redo-log, available space for tables,indexes, etc.

compare the GLOBAL HOSTNAME settings in profiles of Default,Instance and start

This error was caused by the incorrect site binding, I will give a reference of my test Lab. We add two A records in DNS which the FQDN of CAS and Mailbox could resolve IP address.;

Exchange Back End:
Then IIS must be restarted.

According to error, it appears that child flow activity trying to push the parent flow notified activity. Could be that parent flow is not ready/notified when child tries to push it.. Check for timings of 1) begin and end times of child activity 2) begin & end times of parent activity . If this is timing issue, add defer activity for child flow to wait till parent flow comes to required status.

AE: Path not Found error

Hi All
When we create one workflow with one role requested the approval process works, but it does not work when we have one request for 2 roles from 2 different systems. Take note that on their own these roles create a workflow and the approval process works but when they are put together the "Path not found error" appears.
Can anyone please advise on what the problem might be?

please have a look at the error log to see exactly what fails.
I suppose that your initiator is limited to role + system, and you do not have defined a path for the second system, so AE does not know how to handle that part of the request.
If you can detail what your initiator looks like, and what the error log says, we may be able to give you more detailed help.

"Audio Record Path Not Found" error and new details

I've been having problems opening up older GarageBand files I've created and trying to add new content. When I try to record on an existing track, or in a new track, I get the error: "Audio Record Path not Found! Please enter it in the following dialog." (and there's no following dialog). I've tried to save the file as an archive, which has worked in the past, but doesn't work any longer. I'm using a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 15"
As a test, I installed iLife 06 on my older (PowerPC-based) Mac Mini. On that computer, I'm able to open the files, and record onto an existing track. None of my recording equipment is attached to this machine, however. If I save an archive and move it to my macBook Pro, I'm still not able to add recordings to it.
I tried reintalling GarageBand on my MBP, but I still get the same error. I've also deleted the preference files from Library > Preferences. (the two com.apple.garageband... files), and still no luck. It doesn't sound like the audio files themsleves are corrupted since I can open them on the Mini, so it's likely GarageBand. What else can I delete to make it a pristine installation?
I don't want to use my Mac Mini for recording, as it's too slow for my editing needs, but if I can't open the files on my MacBook Pro, I'll have to re-record them.
Anyone have any ideas I can try?

Excellent suggestion! I actually left the files on the external USB drive on which I store them, and accessed them from my MacBook Pro (instead of moving the files to the MacBook Pro), and sure enough, I'm able to edit and add to the files!
I still don't know why I can't access them locally on the MBP, but this workaround is certainly acceptible for my needs!

A desktop is failing to join in Domain over a VSAT link. Error: Network path not found.

Facing an issue for adding a desktop in Domain over VSAT. When I say enter after typing the domain name which i want to join. I am asked for User name and Password. After User name and password is entered it waits for a long
time and then it gives an error as Network Path not Found. I am pretty surprised why is it happening like that.
In hosts file too I am mentioning the IP of the DC at my Data Center.
I have another site over VSAT which has worst latency and more RTO's than this one, but on that site I am able to add a desktop in Domain. I don't have domain controller at the remote site which is connected by VSAT.

Please do not hardcode the domain IP address in your HOSTS file. That will just create issues.
Please make sure that your client computer points only to internal DNS servers for DNS resolutions.
You can use NSlookup to make sure that DNS resolution for your DCs A and SRV records are working properly:

Also, make sure that you have no connectivity failures between your remote site and the one having your DCs using
