AFAR test run showing the values but not posting in Real run.
Hi Friends,
i have an issue with AFAR recalculating the depreclation. The details are as below;
1. Asset value date is 15.07.2010. but ordinary dep. start date was set as 01.01.2010 manually by the user.
2. The Period control method 11, the dep. is calculated for entire year for acquisition.
3. we have already calculated depreciation from period 12 2010 to period 04, 2011.
4. Now, we have changed ordinary depreciation start date for 5 asset records from 01.01.2010 to 15.07.2010.
5. Therefore, we recalculated AFAR for these assets for 2010 and test run is showing the values for these 5 asset. The same was expected by the business.
6. When we execute the real run, it is not posting and no change in asset explorer for period 12, 2010 or in current period. No error message is available in spool / job log.
We have opened FI periods as well.
My question is that why the system calculating the values in test run and if it is calculated in test run, why it is not posting in update run?
As per the period control method, the depreciation should not recalculated for half year even we change the ordinary dep,start date from 1st Jan to 15th July.
I request you to clarify my doubt and help me to understand the error which is stoping the values in update run of AFAR.

Sorry...it is not worked out. Alternatively, i tried the shift factor with variable depreciation and i achieved the values which appeared in AFAR test run.

Not related to your question, but you are running an extremely old and out of date version of Firefox that is no longer supported or maintained and thus is vulnerable to many security holes. You should update to Firefox 14 immediately. [[Update Firefox to the latest version]]

New message address shows the Name but not full email address
The email To: will show the name eg John Doe but not the full description [email protected] If I click on the tab by the name I will see the full email address referenced. If mail sees just the name it sometimes says John Doe does not appear to be a valid email. If I send an email to myself at other email accts I have (aol for example) the mail does arrive. I think this may be related to address book but not sure. If I enter a new email in the TO in a new message It keeps the entire email address, I think. Anyway just want some feedback about this since thee is a degree of uncertainty here
mail will indeed draw from address book's contacts. if you have in mail>preferences>viewing the option "use smart addresses" checked, then the name of the contact will be displayed in the to/from... fields and you can see the full email address when selecting the tab next to the name. so that is normal behavior. if you enter a new email address for which you do not have a contact card created in address book, then that will remain as an email address in the field you entered it to. you would have to create a card in address book, add that email address, and then the name of the contact would appear in an email field rather than only the email address.

Midlet Running in the Emulator but not in the phone?

I have developped a Midlet using the Sun Wirelees Toolkit, the midlet reads results from a Servlet and print it on a TextBox. It works fine in the emulator but when I deployed it to Nokia 6600 it prints NULL.
I really don�t know what�s the problem. Bytheway I used thread for sending data from Midlet to Servlet.

Really, we can't smell whats wrong. It could be lots of things...
Try to de bug the application on the device. The "best" way is to use System.out.println statements, of use a textbox to print the messages. Than check where it goes wrong, and why.. -

The devices are not registered in Malta as such, it's your Apple ID that is registered in a country other than France, namely Malta. On a single Windows 2012 R2 server I have installed SQL 2012 and SharePoint 2013 SP1 with the latest update roll ups. When I remote desktop to the server using the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using
Internet Explorer, I'm able to see newsfeeds and document libraries.
If I connected to a separate Windows 7 machine as the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using Internet Explorer, I'm able to view the SharePoint pages except I cannot see any newsfeeds or document libraries.
There's just blank space where they should be. I have repeated this process on several other machines that are not the server and get the same result on every machine (I've tried other servers, desktops, adding the SharePoint site to the trusted sites list
in IE, even using firefox). I'm using the same account as I did when I logged onto the server directly. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

It is currently set to the default of http://server_name and http://server_name:port_number (the latter is for Central Admin).
When I have access to the server, I have always done so the same way, using http://server_name. This was true when I access it from the desktop of the server itself and when I tried to access it from other desktops and servers (the machines where I had the
issues with the libraries and feeds not showing up). Are there other values I should add?
I have not tried to add http://server_FQDN as we don't plan on using that to access it but if you think it will help I would be happy to add it. -
I am a complete novis with the linux system, it was a gift to me, I can in no way get the up date to install on the system, i have tried every which way i can think of...please please help!!
That is Xandros, from 2007. How you got 3.0.4 to run on Xandros is beyond me, the GTK package is too old.
Your best bet is to install a new operating system, like maybe Ubuntu 11.04. It's not an easy job though, it gets a bit more complicated because you don't have a CD/DVD drive in the EeePC. You have to get the ISO image onto a USB Flash stick first.

Running on the server- but not in other machines
Hi everyone,
I have a starnge problem....i have setup a site in my Tomcat 4.0.6 and it works fine when i am tesing it on the server...but when i try to access the site from other than machine in which my Tomcat is there it's giving null poniter exceptions.I have found out the cause...i.e session varibles r not getting set...so it's giving that problem...previously that site was working well with the same code...and also i did not use many session variablea(so not the session varible overflow problem)....is there limit for the "webapps" folder size..my "webapps" folder size is 1.5 GB.
I am very much struggling with this untoward behaviour of Tomcat 4.0.6..I would be thankful to you if you could help me ........Thanks in advance....

How do I uninstall a program that is running in the background but does not show in Force Quit?
Open Activity Monitor and look for the program. Select it and Quit or Force quit it from within Acitiviy Monitor.
Search for the application with Find Any File as it can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, system folders and packages. You can drag the app and any associated files from the search result window to the Trash bin in the Dock.

I cannot change the value in about:newtab from "newtab" to "blank." The dialog is displayed but when I click Ok, the value is not changed.

# Open a new tab and type "about:config" in the address bar.
# In the Search bar type: "newtab"

# In the "Enter String Value" box change "'''about:newtab'''" to "'''about:blank'''" and click OK.
# Verify that the value has changed and now all new tabs will be blank.

i am using 10.7.5 lion there are a lot of problems in this OS.
like most of the programs quit's unexpectedly. some programs does not work on it. like adobe cs5 is not working. everytime time when i do click on adobe cs 5 icon it shows a message "To open “Adobe Photoshop CS5,” you need to install a Java SE 6 runtime, but you are not connected to the Internet.To install a Java SE 6 runtime later, open “Adobe Photoshop CS5” again" while i always remain connected on the net.
2. when ever i insert an avi or mpeg video disk it shows the file format not recognized. to **** with this macbook pro n its 10.7.5 lion. the same disk works/runs on windows on windows systems.

[email protected]it sounds like a fualty installation of Lion, this may happen from time to time.
The best thing to do in this situation is to reinstall Lion. You will not loose anything doing this, but you should always keep back ups of your information.

basically hold Cmd+R on boot..
first go to disk utility, verify and repair your disks and permissions. Exit out of Disk utility and then go directly to "reinstall Lion"
choose that and let it reinstall.
Adobe CS6 does need Java to run.
To play your movies you might need to get an application called VLC. VLC is a free app and will play most videos and music files you throw into it.

My table of contents does not use the entry style I select for words in the paragraph that have character styles applied to them in the chapter, so some of the letters, specifically parameters, are showing up green, which is fine in the chapter but not in the TOC. I can manually fix this in the TOC by changing the character style to none after the toc has been generated, but I don't want to do this.
What application are you running? Please ask this in the forum of the product you're using.

Not empty the Safari cache.

Giri.Go to SU01, look at your authorization profile for which roles you are given. Then, go to PFCG and check out the roles and how they are defined. It is possible that you are not authorized to view application area, infocube, certain characteritics etc.
