After a library has been created with the "Copy items to the iPhoto library" option unselected, can it later be made to create those copies?

I have a large number of iPhoto libraries, organized with iPhoto Library Manager, that I created with the "Copy items to the iPhoto library" option unselected because I wanted easier access to the individual files. I am now going to be migrating to a new computer and have run into some problems with iPhoto losing the path to the file, and as a result showing me the exclamation point of doom. What's more, the program doesn't seem very intelligent about rebuilding those lost connections, and I have to go back through and correct it manually almost one at a time. How do I get around this problem?
If I rebuild my new computer from a Time Machine backup (I usually enjoy taking this opportunity to start from a clean slate, but...), will the paths all be preserved without me needing to abandon my organization system?
Or is there some way to ask iPhoto or Library Manager to create and organize copies of all the photos in the library that are not currently present within the library?
On a tangentially related note, what's the best way to save keywords (and ideally also faces) added in iPhoto to the photos' meta data?

Not with iPhoto by itself. If you have the lastest version of Aperture and iPhoto referenced libraries can be converted to managed with Aperture.
You can convert to a managed library with iPhoto Library Manager by rebuilding the library with iPLM. This will create a new, managed library with all your photos in it and with all Events, albums, keywords, titles, descriptions and places intact. However, books, calendars, slideshows and cards will not be retained. They will end up as albums containing the photos.

Well, this is a problem, because the only material you can transfer from your iPhone (using only Apple software) is material you purchased in the iTunes Store.
To do that, plug your iPhone into iTunes, then choose File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from iTunes' menu.
Generally speaking, you should restore your iTunes library from your computer's backup.

Documents has been posted with out line item

Actully my user created GL Account with out line item he posted transactions into documents
Now we are not able to see the documents

when ever click on amount not able to see the documents.

Hi,
For secenario 2, you have to put below validation to achieve your requirement.
Cumulative add quantities of all the entries which are having status 'E' - GR for the combination of PO number and line item number.
Ex: PO no: xyz & two line items 01 and 02
In the EKBE table selection screen, give PO number and line item number. Then system will display all histery for that PO line item.
then collect all the entries which are having status 'E'. Now, we have only all GR entries ( 101 & 102)
Add quantities of all the entris which are having movemnt type 101 and 102 separately.
Substract sum with movement type1 from the sum wiyh movement ment type 102.
If result is zero, that means no GR posted. Total PO quantity open.
Then this case only, system should allow for chnages.

My Iphone 4s screen is black after replacement. I reset the phone, hard reset it, and even let it charge for several days. It continues to make a breif sound when charging. The phone is working, because when i switch the vibrating mode on and off it vibrate. Please help. I think this is a hardware problem.

Did you replace the screen or is it a replacement phone?
If it's a replacement phone take it back to the Apple store that replaced it.
If you replaced the screen you are out of luck; the iPhone is not user serviceable, and any attempt to fix it means that Apple will not longer repair or replace it, in or out of warranty.

After my Macbook has been on for a little, the light goes out on the screen. When I start to close the screen the light comes back on. I can hold it in this position and keep typing/reading indefinitely.any idea what is the problem?

After my Macbook has been in use for a little while, the light goes off on the screen as if the computer is off. Then, as I start to close the screen, it comes back on fully. If I push it back open it cuts off again. So, I just leave it part way open and turn the laptop at an angle so that I can continue to see the screen & type. It acts like there is a short. It does sound like you might have a faulty video connection. See if you can make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store.

I was able to successfully test my app (DeveloperProv and DeveloperCert) and submit (DistributionProv and DistributionCert) to iTunes Connect Using Flash Pro CC > AIR to iOS. My app is currently waiting for review. I am good with the iOS part.
Currently, I am trying to publish my APK, which I did and a get a window displaying "Adobe Flash Professional > The APK was package successfully, but a warning occured. Note: The application has been package with a captive runtime."
The message is a bit confusing, first the APK is successful, and then a warning occurs. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this warning? Does it matter?

Flash is just showing something that ADT reports. It's not an error, it's just an observation. You can't get rid of it, and no, it doesn't matter.

Is this a genuine error message 'ipad has been infected with potential virus'

II was just about to watch a film through my iPad and a new screen opened 'phone updating.com' and the message read 'Virus warning, ipad has been infected with potential virus. Click the ok button to scan your iPhone now.'
I didn't press ok and it wouldn't let me cross out so I checked and updated to the latest version (8.2) and when my ipad restarted, safari opened it on the same error page. I then went to settings and cleared my Safari history which thankfully clearly the page.
My concern now is what if I have something bad (virus?) on my iPad? Or im hoping that because I didn't click okay that all is okay again.
can anyone advise if they have come across anything similar or if I need to do something else?

Thanks, that's what I thought. Do you know if there was any other way that I could have cleared the message other than by clearing my safari history, and more importantly, as I didn't click okay, would this have stopped anything else happening to my ipad?

Need help with "Copy items to the iPhoto Library" option

I originally unchecked the "Copy items to the iPhoto Library" option because I wanted to keep my own file structure; however, I now want to get rid of my file structure and just import all pics into iPhoto library without losing all the editing and face recognition work I did. If I create a new library, I will have to redo all the editing which is a massive amount of work. I have a 50+GB library.
iPhoto 11 on MacBook Pro - Lion OS.

Unless you can hack an sql database, there is no way to do what you want, I'm afraid.

I'm new to OS X, and new to Macs in general, so this may be a n00b question . . .
In iPhoto '11 (9.5, 902.7), I have cleared the "Copy items to the iPhoto library" entry in Preferences, then imported all my photos. However, the size of the iPhoto Library file is still enormous (40 GB), and it's the same size as when I imported the photos with the checkbox enabled.
So does this checkbox function as designed and I'm just not doing it right?

1 unchecking this option is very strongly NOT recommended. Doing so builds up massive problems for the future. And it accomplishes nothing
2. Checking or unchecking itpt does nothing to the existing library. It only affects future imports
I strongly suggest that you start over with a new library leaving the copy preference checked

Guys, I've solved my problem about that error -10202 (Selected driver not found).
I have installed in my Mac Pro (OS X 10.5.8) a document with an extension ".rsrc" to correct the position of the accents in my keyboard, like acute accent, tilde and circumflex.
That file is called "U.S. - International.rsrc" and it's stored in the following path:
"Macintosh HD/Library/Keyboard Layouts"
So, when it's properly installed, I can choose 2 country flags on the right side of the menu bar (U.S. - International and Brazilian).
That's the clue!
When I pick up "U.S. - International", my keyboard works fine with the accents, >>>BUT<<< Logic Pro 9 doesn't recognize my audio driver; and when I pick up "Brazilian", my keyboard doesn't work with the accents exactly as it shows me on each key, BUT Logic Pro 9 DOES recognize my audio driver.
So, when I want to write anything out, I will pick up the "US - International" and when I want to work on the Logic Pro 9, I will pick up "Brazilian".

I am getting the following error each time I open Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional...
"An error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application."
I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program. It didn't help, got the same error shortly after opening the program.
What is strange is that the problem just suddenly appeared therefore, I believe that it may have been malware related causing this problem. And I have had this program and have been using it without any problems now for over 3 years.
It appears that a vital part of the program is being blocked.
Can anyone please help and offer a detailed solution to this problem? Maybe someone has already encountered it.

Upon re-reading that information, I am curious as to why your believe that this will solve my issue. That is not related to my error message: "An error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application."
I have not received any such message as the one seen on that page.
Please explain why I wouldn't have gotten that partcular message and instead got the one I quoted above?

Yes you can drag and drop music to the iPiod if you select Manually Manage Music and Videos in iTunes.

Two words, Migration Assistant. It will transfer files between two Macs using a firewire cable automagically.

Three words, Target Disk Mode. Use a firewire cable to connect two Macs and then hold down the T key when you boot the Mac you want to transfer files from, G4 Tower. It will appear as a hard drive on the desktop of your Macbook Pro. Then you can just drag and drop the whole folder.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an issue with photo syncing. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
