After accepting meeting invite on Blend, meeting doesn't appear in Blend but appears on Passport

Hi,
I've come across an interesting bug.
When someone sends me a meeting invite via email and I accept it in Blend. When I look at my calendar in Blend the meeting is not in my calendar. But when I look on my phone I can see the meeting in my calendar.
I can send screenshots if necessary.

Hi @alexklkam
I'm unable to reproduce this issue, all of my calendars match up after several tests.
If possible can you record the steps you are taking that cause to issue to occur so I can do some more testing?
Can you let me know what type of email\calendar service are you using, e.g. Outlook.com, Gmail as well?
When this issue occurs, does the entry ever appear?
For example, if you close and re-open Blend after noticing the entry isn't shown, does it appear again?

  • Accept and invite in outlook, disappears from my desktop PC calendar but shows on my ipad exchange calendar

If i accept an invitation on my pc (outlook 2007, Exchange 2003)  it shows up for a brief time and then disappears but shows up on my ipad2. This was a message sent to all users and all users that do not have an iPad2 have the message on their calendar correctly, all users that have iPads only end up with the calendar entry on their iPads.

If the meeting has already been accepted on a standard Exchange client, the iPad/iPhone should show the meeting as Status: Accepted and not offer the Accept/Decline option (unless opening the meeting itself). This is expected behavior. Accept/decline meetings in one place/client, ideally a real Exchange client like Outlook/OWA vs ActiveSync-enabled device (like iPad/iPhone).

  • Issues when accepting meeting invite received via exchange

    Hi,
My iphone (3G 3.0) is syncing with push via an exchange server. What I am finding out is that when I accept, tentatively accept, or decline a meeting invite, I also am doing the same "On Behlaf of" whoever is on either side of me in the meeting invite. I do not have any type of access to these people's email, calendars etc.
Anyone else having this issue? Anyway to resolve it?
    Thanks!

We're seeing the same thing. Using iphone 3gs with exchange activesync 2003 and outlook 2003 client.
Although after a lot of testing we've narrowed it down a little. It seems to accept on behalf of the the person that appears first alphabetically in the list of recipients, and stops there.
For instance, my name starts with a 'J' (Jason). So if there are others that were invited whose name starts with a 'C' (Carol), and then a 'G' (Greg)....and I accept the meeting invitation, it will only "accept on behalf of" Carol but not Greg. So the meeting organizer will see a message that appears to be from Carol, but it actually states that Jason accepted on behalf of carol. The organizer will also receive the proper response that you (Jason in this case) accepted.
Other testing showed that if YOUR name was the lowest alphabetically in the recipients list (Jason, Sam, and Tom), then it will accept for you properly, but not accept those with names starting with a higher letter in the alphabet than your name.
So it appears to choose the first name in the recipients list in alphabetical order.
We also noticed that if the meeting organizer sends the request *from his/her iphone* (with the same recipients - Carol, Greg, and Jason), and Jason accepts it on his iphone....it will not accept on behalf of Carol.
So far we don't have a solution....but that's what we've figured out at this point.
    I hope it makes sense.

  • Having to re-accept meeting requests on iPhone after initial acceptance in Outlook

I've searched these forums for awhile and all syncing issues seem to dance around the actual issue I'm having.
Currently have an iPhone 4 running IOS 6.1.2. Business is running Microsoft Outlook 2007 and I'm connecting to Exchange through OWA.. I have no syncing issues when creating meeting requests from my phone or vice versa like others have had and I have not had any issues with meetings being deleted.
However, since updating from IOS 5 to IOS 6, I do have an issue where if I accept a meeting request inside of Outlook, it does not sync and clear out the meeting request as "accepted" on my iPhone. The only way to remove the notification is to select the request in the calendar and accept it a 2nd time and thereby sending a 2nd acceptance to the meeting organizer.
I've tried everything from changing Outlook settings in order to delete meeting invitations after acceptance to the numerous suggestions found in these forums though none specifically solve this particular issue.
Any help or direction to the thread where this might be solved would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone figured out a solution to this yet? I have an iPhone 5s and an iPad Mini. I have my Outlook 2010 calendars synced on both my iPhone and iPad Mini. If I accept a meeting request in Outlook, it still appears in the Inbox in my calendar on both my iPhone and iPad Mini. If I accept the meeting request on my iPhone, it still appears in my Inbox on my calendar on my iPad Mini.
I have my Outlook set to delete meeting requests/invites after I have accepted them, and that works in Outlook, yet they still remain on my iDevices. I have restarted both devices, and I have backed up iCloud again on both devices. I don't want to have to accept meeting requests on both my iPhone and iPad each time I receive them because that makes me look foolish. I also don't want to see the meeting requests in my Inbox on my iPad after I already accepted it on my iPad because the little number 1 in the red circle (signifying an alert on my calendar) is annoying.
Who can solve this problem so that after I accept a meeting request in Outlook, that invite does not appear anymore in my Inbox for my iPhone and iPad calendars? Please! Thank you in advance.

  • Accepting meeting invites

How do I accept meeting invites on my Blackberry Q10?

Open the email. It will show as a calendar event. At the bottom hit accept. Done. If that isn't working then you'll need to make sure that you have calendar enabled on that email account.

  • Meeting response still says none after acceptance

I have a user that when she accepts meeting invites and chooses "Send Response Now" it still shows up in Tacking as Response None.  I invited other people to the same meeting I received acceptance emails from all including the user with the
issue.  I go to the meeting on the calendar and under the tracking tab every other user i invited the Response says Accepted.
Why is her's the only one that still shows up as None?
I did make sure she wasn't choosing "Do not send a response." Also that she is a Required Attendee.  In Outlook options I have checked "Automatically process meeting requests and responses to meeting requests and polls". I;ve tried
soo amny thing and can't find a reason why her's is the only one showing as None in Response.
    We are using Outlook 2013

    Hi RBaker,
As I know, meeting tracking option is built for MS Outlook not for Exchange server. So, such type of bug is occurring from the specific email client application and probably third party plug-ins can be reason of this.
Say her to open Outlook in safe mode using “outlook.exe /safe” command and then to respond meeting invitation and see the result.

  • Why do my attachments disappear after accepting a calendar invite?

At work we use a lot of calendar attachments to disseminate information. When we send out an invitation to a meeting, the consultant gets the invite, sees the attachments, accepts the invite, then the attachments disappear if he doesn't save them BEFORE saying yes. Is there a way to change that? Thanks.

Gotcha, hmmm . I would agree, then - try out the external adapter. If it works, we know there's a good chance it's your on-board adapter. If it doesn't work, we know it may be something else, so you could try option 2 below:
Option 1, if the external adapter does solve the problem:
If it works, we know it's likely your on-board wireless adapter. So, if you haven't already, let's try installing the drivers for the adapter itself this time (not the ones for MiFi, but for your actual adapter). You can do this via Device Manager.
Option 2, if the external adapter doesn't solve the problem:
Well, maybe a new approach. Are you sure all of the drivers for your wireless adapter, your LAN adapter (unless it's the same) are updated? Matter of fact, if you haven't already, perhaps try running a scan to see if ANY of your drivers are out of date? It's crazy, but sometimes having something as seemingly irrelevant as a sound card or other driver out of date can cause a weird problem somewhere else.
If you arent sure about the drivers on your computer, I would recommend PC Pitstop. They have several computer scans, all free (and malware/spyware/bloatware free). To actually install the drivers you'd need to purchase a license, but for our purposes here that shouldn't be necessary. All we want to do right now is figure out if any of your drivers are out of date.

  • How to set travel time for after a meeting?

    Hi,
I hope you can help solve this problem...
Scenario: I have to go to a meeting and come back again.
Problem: In the Calendar application I can set the travel time for before a meeting but there is seemingly no functionality to set the travel time for after a meeting. Hopefully it hasn't escaped all those fantastic developers that people have to travel back from a meeting as well as travel to it?
Question: How do I set the travel time in an event for travelling back after a meeting? I would like to avoid the kind of solution where I have to create another separate event just after the meeting event and call it 'travel time'.
    Hope you guys can help...
    Thanks

first make a Locale object as
    public Locale(String language,
    String country)
Construct a locale from language, country. NOTE: ISO 639 is not a stable standard; some of the language codes it defines (specifically iw, ji, and in) have changed. This constructor accepts both the old codes (iw, ji, and in) and the new codes (he, yi, and id), but all other API on Locale will return only the OLD codes.
    Parameters:
    language - lowercase two-letter ISO-639 code.
    country - uppercase two-letter ISO-3166 code.
    Throws:
NullPointerException - thrown if either argument is null.

    public SimpleDateFormat(String pattern,

Constructs a SimpleDateFormat using the given pattern and the default date format symbols for the given locale. Note: This constructor may not support all locales. For full coverage, use the factory methods in the DateFormat class.
    Parameters:
pattern - the pattern describing the date and time format
locale - the locale whose date format symbols should be used

  • Invitation won't stop after accepting them

    Hello,
i accept an invitation, after accepting them, i keep receiving them again!
    any ideas?
    10x.

    Hi javaT,
I had the same problem after running "AppleJack" for some reason.
It was in January this year when I had some problems with
my WindowsMediaPlayer which was unable to play .wmv files.
So I thought, why not trying to fix the problem with AppleJack. I shut down my iMac and started it again in single-mode (command - s) and then typed "applejack auto restart". At this very moment the fans inside my iMac went to full power and remained at full power after Applejack had done his job. And remained after restart...and remained after shut-down und re-boot ... and remained ... and remained.
I ran the "Apple Hardware Test"- CD which came with my iMac and it showed me the following error:
    2 FAN/5/8: System Fan
I called the retailer where I bought my iMac and other stores which sell Apple computers, but no one could help me.
I then read several topics in the "discussions" right here and found out, that I should try to reset the NVRAM and/or PRAM. Or I should first try to remove the powercable for at least 45 (better 60) sec.
What shall I say, this worked. Simply pulling the powercable helped to solve my problem. No more fans trying to break the world-record. I think, pulling power is the same as resetting the PMU (Power Management Unit), but I may be wrong. But hey! It really worked.
So, you should first try this stripping-powercable-thing. If it doesn't work for you try resetting NVRM and/or PRAM. For instructions please read the following article:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238
    I hope this helps.

  • Exchange 2007 Resource mailboxes no longer auto accepting meeting requests

Ww have a large number of meeting rooms/resources, until today they were auto accepting meeting/booking requests and responding to the requester, if there was a conflict it auto rejected and advised the requestor of the conflict.
Today, none of them are accepting or responding.
I went into one of these via OWA and everything is set correctly, no changes have been made that I am aware of. Using EMS I ran the cmdlet  MailboxCalendarSettings <resourceID>| fl, the result was:

As far as I can see, this is all correct, but the resource, along with ALL others, have stopped accepting meetings/bookings and are not responding to requests.
Does anyone have an idea what has happened and how I can fix this?
    NOTE:
In an attempt to resolve this, I used
    Set-MailboxCalendarSettings <ResourceID> -AutomateProcessing:Autoaccept
    No change has been seen

I wonder when the majority of people will understand that the best decisions are made close to the coffee machine and not in a conference room :)
Glad to hear that it worked for you though.

  • Can't accept outlook invites in iPhone calendar app

    Hi everyone,
Here's my problem: I have been using my iPhone 4 for about a year now, syncing the calendar via MobileMe first and then via iCloud. All this time I haven't been able to accept calendar invites on my phone. The functionality on my phone in steps:
I receive an Outlook invite as email, open the mail, scroll to bottom, open the ICS attachment.
The attachment opens up showing organiser, invitees, time, etc. In the bottom I have a button "Add to calendar"
I press the "Add to calendar" and the event display closes, I'm back in my mail app. Apparently, when I press "add to calendar" an automated reply is sent, saying I've tentatively accepted. I have to wait until I'm at my MacBook to accept or reject the meetings.
Any ideas on how and where I could fix this? Is this a setup issue?
So, I'm using iPhone 4 with a MacBook, both about a year old. All software is updated, syncing via iCloud.

    Hello Nelson,
On Lightning, to create your calendar access you need to fill an address like the following one:
    http://<hostsname>:<port>/caldav/<organization>t/principals/individuals/<username>
    On your browser --> http://hostaname:port/caldav
Then you need to proceed with the authentication, then after the organisation name choose
    - principals
    - individuals
    - you should see the <username> value
    - and then you will see the CalDav url you need to enter in Lightning to access your Calendar. From this point you should be able to see all the meeting created on Outlook and accept the future invitation.
    Hope that answer your question
    Regards
    Fred

  • Cant accept ics invitations

    Hello,
I know this question has been asked many times - but I wan't to post this again and see if I have missed something.
I am so frustrated with not being able to accept meeting invites from Outlook users when they send me a meeting invite as a .ics attachment. I thought this might be addressed when ios 5 came out - but it doesn't work.
This is such a huge issue - and I cannot get rid of my mobileme and go to gmail.

  • How to forward Microsoft Outlook event to BB Curve 8330 without accepting second invitation.

    Hi everyone,
I am using a Telus BB 8330 Curve as my personal phone and PDA.  I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 without BES at work.  When a colleague at work invites me for a meeting on Outlook I accept the invitation.  How do I forward the meeting (event) to my BB Curve without having to accept a second invitation on my BB.  The problem is when I accept the invitation on my BB, my colleague sees that I have accepted two invitations for the meeting and he sees that I have sent the invitation to another (personal) e-mail address.  How do I go around in doing this without the people at work finding out that I am forwarding these events to my personal calendar on my BB.
I tried iCalendar but it doesn't work on the BB.
    Thanks.

I believe I've answered my own question.  When I forward an invitation from work to my BB, I don't need to accept the invitation.  The event is automatically inserted into my calendar.  This way my BB does not send an acceptance e-mail back to the meeting organizer.  Sweet!
