After being hassled just about to death, I downloaded the new Firefox for Macs (3.6.13). Now I cannot download anything. Not a thing. The help files suggested resetting the download folder (didn't work), clearing the download menu (didn't work as there was nothing to clear)
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

I just installed the new firefox for Mac OSX 10.6.8 and when I select an image on a site (right click and copy) and paste in Photoshop 5.5, the image lightens. It does not do this in Safari.Firefox, Safari, and PhotoShop each handle embedded color profiles differently. I downloaded the new IOS last week and my phone can no longer find the network it only states "searching" How do I fix this for the 3gs?
If you have important files that haven't been backup then you can try this by holding down power and home till it restarts and release when you see apple logo.
If you have nothing to lose, you can do a fresh restore by holding down power and home for 10 seconds and after 10 seconds release power but keep holding home till iTunes recognize it is in recovery mode and restore iphone. -

I had the same problem and was puzzled -- The App Store didn't automatically download/install ML after I purchased it. I had to click on Purchases and THEN on the "install" button.
Wasn't very intuitive. -
I just downloaded the new Firefox 4, rebooted, and viewed your videos re the new look and new features. Problem is, my toolbars look no different than before. The new icons you talk about do not appear on my screen. Please advise. Thank you.
The Firefox icon is the default feature for Windows Vista and 7 only, it does not apply to Windows XP users.
To have the Firefox icon instead of the Menu Bar:
View > Toolbars and UNCHECK the Menu Bar.
After that, click on the Firefox icon and you'll have the Menu Bar appear again.

I have a MacBookPro and just downloaded the new Firefox 4.0.1. When I use my laptop wireless the computer shuts down after a few minutes. What can I do?

i just downloaded the new update for itunes and the itunes store wont open up it is taking a long time it still hasnt loaded since 5pm, i also cant sighn in either it just keeps on saying accessing itunes....

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Just downloaded the new OS for IPhone. Despise the appearance. It has jacked with the way I like things in some unacceptable ways. Is there any way to keep the OS, but return to the old appearance? Important to know BEFORE I download OS for computer.

The new iOS 7 was the lead story on CNN today... and it wasn't positive. Easy to see why, it's a graphics disaster. It is ugly, difficult to read, doesn't interface aesthetically with the iPhone 4S, and gives everyone in America vertigo. Either fix the appearance, or find some way to allow us to roll back to our previous iOS. Do so quickly, or this life-long Apple customer [circa 1978] will be moving on. If this represents shades of what is coming with OS Maverick, I am petrified. Further, I am a GM of a chain of newspapers and websites in the Austin, Texas area. I will be ripping out a scathing editorial. The notion that we can't roll back from something millions of us hate is despicable. I'm giving you one week. Be sure I am not alone. -
Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

You shouldn't wait that long to ask advice. Firefox only keeps a (rotating) backup of bookmarks for the last 5 days that you started Firefox. So you may be out of luck.
You can check that you still use your old default profile that had your bookmarks.<br />

i downloaded the free upgrade for OS X Mavericks, can i delete this download before installation ? i don't want it after reading reviews.
Yes, it's in your Applications folder and is called "Install OS X". Make sure to empty your trash afterwards to clear the space.

Downloading the latest upgrades for Mac 10.8.2 keeps stalling. I still have Firefox 17.0.1. the system has tried many times but the process just hangs.
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
