After charging my iphone i switched it on and the lock screen is magnified and i cant unlock it
i have an iphone 5s. the battery went flat so i switched on to charge. after 5 minutes the screen lit up but was magnified and i cant unlock it.
Double tap the screen with 3 fingers.

So after having my Iphone 4 for over a year and purchasing the apple CARE protection plan, apple is acting as if they do not care about me and my phone. I have never traded in my phone and never had a problem with it until now. I didn't want to have to purchase a whole new phone with the iphone 5 coming out because i plan to purchase that in the first shipment. I'm so disapointed and heart broken. I don't know what to do. I wanna cry right now. When it rains it pours. Just disapointed that this had to happen with APPLE!!!! and now i'm reading some of these responces and learning that some people have gotten their phones changed for FREE?!?!?!?!?!? What's up with that? I feel apple should give everyone one OOPS clause. and after that then you have to fend for yourself especially if we have to pay for a protection plan that we will not use or will not transfer to another phone.

With the advent of the iPhone 4S and AppleCare+, the geniuses at the Apple Stores lost the freedom to replace damaged phones at their discretion.
There is no "oops" clause in the warranty. If you've paid for Apple Care, that coverage will transfer to a replacement phone, provided you pay Apple for the out of warranty replacement. -
Has anybody had a similar problem , after charging my iPhone 5s (with the Apple charger and cable ) , the screen on the phone has locked with the Apple Symbol , the phone will neither switch on or off for me to take any action , restore , upgrade etc

Even when I charge my Mac Pro to the full bar, the battery seems to be drained even when I am not using it. Example, after charging it full, i switched it on the next day and its 79% battery left. Is there something wrong? help please
Assuming you are disconnecting from line power, when you say switched on, do you mean it was shutdown or in sleep mode? If sleep mode the battery will still drain because sleep still keeps some things active and the battery does drain a little. However, to go from 100% to 79% charge overnight is a bit excessive in sleep mode. Unless you have some processes set to activate over night by the cron file and do things like backup the system.
What are the statistics on the battery, the apple in the upper left corner, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Power...things like battery Condition, Capacity, remaining charge, voltage, current. -

If you hold the home button and power button for about 10 seconds it will turn back on. I have had his issue 3 times but don't know what fixes it for good

My iPod froze fully charged on the lock screen for 5 minutes, then went off and will not switch back on?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

As I stated in the title, when I'm using the phone (sometimes during heavy use, sometimes when I'm doing nothing, and sometimes just swiping in from the start screen to view a notification) the screen will freeze (very short period, under half a second) then switch back to the start screen (black with the stylized Apple logo). Shortly after, about the same time it takes on startup, it goes to the lock screen and opens the number pad to enter my code. After that, everything works fine as if nothing had ever happened. All the apps still run fine, and I haven't lost any data.
Admittedly, it is merely a small annoyance since it has only happened a handful of times (5-10 since purchase), but it shouldn't be happening, and I'm somewhat worried that it is an indicator of a potentially more severe problem.

No restores

Also, this happened on iOS 6 and 6.0.1I have noticed this and so has my brother, but just when swiping in from a notification on the home screen, and both when they were photos sent via Messages.
We both had iPhone 4's and have seen it happen a coupld of times.
I've just moved to an iPhone 5, but not long enough to see it happen yet.

When I turn on the iphone 5s after it being off it will load then show me the lock screen for a second if that and then go right to sleep mode right away as soon as the lock screen comes on

I have a iPhone 4 and lately it has been shutting down randomly when I still have battery left. It also doesn't turn back on, until I plug it in to the charger. But when I plug it in, the low battery sign shows up then comes to the lock screen with like 68% left.

After updating my iPhone 6 to 8.1.1 the suggestion bar across the top of the keyboard is no longer there. How do I get it back? I had it before the update and loved using it.

IPhone 6 Plus no longer shows time on the lock screen after iOS 8.2 update
Question as seen above. after updating my iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 8.2, it no longer shows the current time on the lock screen. It also takes a couple of seconds for it to load the status bar at the top of the screen. Restoring from iTunes didn't fix it. Please help!
