After downloading Firefox 4 (for Windows XP), I started getting a popup box on every page I go to that says "[JavaScript Application] uninstal set", and I don't know how to get rid of it.
I downloaded FireFox 4 today, and as soon as the download was finished, I launched the browser. As soon as I did, I got a message box that has "[JavaScript Application]" at the top and "uninstal set" as the message. This is the exact wording in the box, including the misspelling. I thought this might be an indication that my version of JavaScript was out of date, so I went to Java's website to update it. However, after downloading the latest version, the message box continued to appear. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, is there a way to fix it?
Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

I have a toshiba computer and it is windows 7, recently after I installed imatch everytime I open itunes I get the message 'i tunes has stopped working' and windows cannot find a solution and has to close. When I open a pdf file, after a few seconds, it hides the toolbar and I don't know how to get it back. I use multiple monitors and, without being able to grab the toolbar, I am unable to move the pdf file to a different monitor. How do I stop this?
Does Firefox switch to full screen if you press F11 ?

My computer has changed how it accepts photos from my phone. They used to post into a library by the month and year, e.g., "Feb 2014 photo stream," but now all of the photos from my phone for the past year or so are lumped together into the "Shared" section under "photo stream." I did not put them there (that I know of) and now don't know how to get them out and into a library where I can categorize them.
The monthly events "Feb2014" will show you all photos that have been imported from "My Photo STream", if you have enabled "Automatic Import" in the "Preferences > iCloud" tab.
The albums you are seeing under "iCloud" are the "Shared Photo Streams" and "My Photo Stream". To import from your "Shared Streams" drag the photos frommthe Shared Streams album to the Projects in the library panel. -

I have an iMac using OS X 10.4.11. Beginning several days ago, all incoming emails have, after the usual email header and before the message appears, one to two pages of technical data (e.g., Dkim-Signature, Domainkey-Signature, Content-Transfer-Encoding, etc.). This is similar and more complex that the info one receives when an undeliverable email bounces back. I don't know where this stuff comes from, or how it came, and I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas? I'm something of a newbie to computers (um, what's a Tag?).
That just sounds like the mail headers. Most people don't know (or care) about them so they're usually hidden.
Check Mail -> Preferences -> Viewing -> Show header detail
I'm guessing it's set to 'All'. Switch it to 'Default' or None as you prefer. -
When I went and connected my phone to my laptop and hit restore and it got rid of everything my photos my contacts everything and I don't know how to get the stuff back and if you need to know I have an IPhone4S
I take it you were replacing an older iPhone and this was the first time you plugged it in? If so, that's what happens. It restored the backup of your old phone. A backup of the current phone is not made in those circumstances.

Could be you enabled Voice over by mistake. Take a look in System Preferences->Accessibility;Voice Over and see if it is enabled.
(The key sequence command-F5 toggles voice over on and off) -
I had a series of eight bookmarks which loaded every time I use Firefox. (Three versions of www.facebook.com.). It appears that something is overriding these. They appear instead to be going through https://fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net. So even though when I look at the browser a minute later, and it seems to say https://www.facebook.com, and everything seems to be ok, once at the end of signoff, I caught it saying something like "redirect at logoff" to the fbstatic address. I tried deleting the bookmarks, and making the fbstatic address "untrusted" (I also have NoScript 2.6.3 installed, in an effort to get a handle on this problem.) But it will not let me choose just www.facebook.com.
I don't know what to do. I fear my information is compromised. And I mostly use Twitter and Facebook in this browser. I do much prefer Firefox, cause I thought it was safer. I also couldn't use the browser to send a help message because there was a redirect on that too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. A domain with fbstatic in it is likely a domain that is used by Facebook (fb), so you may have other problems if you stay on such a web page or get redirected
If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like <i>Adblock Plus</i> or <i>NoScript</i> or <i>Flash Block</i> that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

Good afternoon! I'm glad I can be here to help with this error. In the device this application is identified only as 'Talk', so that be more familiar to you. First I recommend opening the 'Market' app on your phone, then Menu>My Apps to see if this application requires an update. It will display a list on top of all applications that need to be updated. If nothing exists, tap 'Home' and go into 'Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Talk, then tap 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data' to remove the history of that application and stop the notifications. Thank you for the info re. the main menu. Your answer I used worked; however, the menu bar all the way across is solid black. The only way I can find out the names on the menu is to point the cursor from left to right over the black bar to find "file" "edit" tools", etc. What do I need to do to get these menu titles to be seen?
As regarding the GMail --the menu bar used to have an envelope symbol which was white and outlined in red. That disappeared. I googled "mail.google.com" to try to get back my email. This didn't work. I then tried to get a different email address and password--after 8-19 attempts, this never worked. My other email (sbcglobal.net) has never returned. So I don't know where that went or how to get it back -
