Sorry, I'm new to the community, so apologies if I'm repeating myself.
OK, so I tried to install Windows Vista onto my iMac with the disk partition. Everything was going fine and it wasn't until last minute, when it was installed that an error came up saying that this can only be done with Windows 7. After this error, I couldn't access any errors of my iMac and when I shut down and restarted my computer, it automatically logged into Windows.
So after a panic, I rang Apple Care and the lady helped me log into my apple area, delete Windows from my iMac, and all was restored.
However, now when I shut down my computer and boot it back up, I think my iMac is trying to log into Windows areas that no longer exist. It loads up a black screen and doesn't move from there. To log into my Apple area, I have to do the whole process of holding Alt immediately after I switch the power on and access the Mac drive and log in that way.
It's beginning to become a real pain and I'm paranoid this process is going to damage my computer. Any advice on how to restore logging-in back to it's former glory when I first purchased it?

Solution for a course going to a black screen and locking up after a while (20-30 slides for me)?

The LMS is Saba and I'm using Captivate 6. I am testing the course in production. The course goes to a black screen and locks up. The first time was at slide 28 of 55 which is a widget and the second time was at slide 20 of 55 which is a multiple choice test item. I'm not sure if the type of slide I'm trying to advance to matters but I want to give as much info as possible. The issue seems to be random since I was first able to get to slide 28.

With LMS issues you should always test the same project in SCORM Cloud before you blame the project. If SCORM Cloud shows the same issue, fine, blame the project. If SCORM Cloud has no issue with it, get in touch with the LMS vendor. It may be that they need to update some component of their SCORM Player software.

When I start my computer I get a "AppleSyncNotifier.exe Entry Point Not Found message. I also get an error message when trying to sync with iTunes that a backup session cannot be started. How do I fix this?

In the last few days when I start my computer, I get a box that opens with "AppleSyncNotifier.exe" Entry Point Not Found in the title.
It says: "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and still get an error message when trying to sync my phone with iTunes
"iTunes could not back up iPhone ####, because a session could not be started with the iPhone."
The last time I tried to sync my phone (iPhone 3G S) with iTunes, everything seemed to freeze up at Stage 4 of the sync process.
Any advice????

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore va iTunes:

I am experiencing the same thing on log out, not all the time but too often. I can get going again by shutting down with the power button, waiting 10 sec. then pressing the power button to boot up again. Could you specify the model of MacBook and the OS X it's running, please? Some of the advice or references vary along with the system, so this could be helpful to formulate a reply. I've never used a Guest User selection, but do have more than one User.
If the computer does not have an optical drive, you may be able to boot it into a recovery disk mode or something; in an attempt to see what is wrong and maybe fix it.

This is expected behavior when you have "Shared Photo Streams" turned on. With Shared Photo Streams, you are able to create separate Photo Streams to share with others (notice the "+" at top left corner). If you wish to disabled this feature, please see below:

On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and turn off My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams.

Since i updated to ios 6 my iphone goes to a black screen when it is in use. I could be texting and 5-10 sec later it goes to a black screen and than to the home page. Its also will be when playing games and so on. Can you please help me with this? I have tried resetting my phone, press the home button 2 time and canceling any running apps and even press home and powering button and still does the same thing. I need help!!!! My Mac mini starts up with a black screen and white writing.

Okay basically I purchased a Mac mini (Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHZ 1GB RAM model) in Feburay 2008, and in June 2008 i decieded to bring it to a store to get it upgraded to 2GB. At the store the guys told me my Mac mini wouldnt accept 2GB, they reckon it was 'cause of the logic board. So they put a new one in and was able to succesfully install 2GB.
Since that day my Mac mini stopped starting up with the apple logo. Now it starts up with the white/greyish background without the apple logo, then goes to a black screen and just runs pass loads of white text then its ready to use with no problems. It does this all the time.
I've read a little about the Kernal Panic and looked at pictures of it, but what I have doesn't look like the kernal panic pictures i'm seeing.
So i am writing this pose to find out whats wrong with my Mac mini, can anyone help me?
Oh, I nearly forgot. When i turn the Mac mini off it does the same black screen with white text stuff before fully shutting down.
