After I have logged in and am updating my apps, I get another request to Log in again and give Security info is this normal? Just suspicious.
I thought I had done all this before. Just want to make sure I don't have somebody trying to get my log in info.

If you can't reset your password via http://iforgot.apple.com then you will have to contact Support in your country to get it reset - they can also reset your security questions.

FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works. It doesn't for me. The message says "FaceTime (iMessage) Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". How do i up date my apps? i have 8 updates for apps but its still giving me my old username and wants my old password when i go to update. i have restored and everything works except when i go to update the apps. ican access all other info with new username and password. when i go to update the 8 apps that need to update it shows my old username and is askinf for old password.
- You have to sign into the account that purchased the app in order to update the app.
- If there are more than one app that needs updating and they were purchased by different accounts you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased with one account.
- Also, if you changed your password you have to go to Settings>Store and sign out of the account and sign back in with the updated password. -

You could try this.
Back up all data.Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

My MBpro has been running some kind of app in the background upon turning on, heating up for no cause. Is this normal since Snow Lepard? It's been updated and I also have anti-virus software too.

also check activity monitor - all processes - see what's using up most of your cpu resources under % CPU....
highlight anything that's really high and hit quit process......anything over 10% is considered high - unless it's your browser....

Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID. If you bought all of the books with the old ID then AFAIK you will have to continue to use that ID in order to continue to sync those books to the iPad.
You have to update the app with the old ID so I don't see how you could keep the books with the new ID. Maybe I am wrong about this, but someone else will chime in I'm sure and correct me if I am wrong. -
How can I get my iPod touch to download and install updates to apps?
I am having difficulties with getting updates for my apps to download and install. When requested, I supply my password for my apple ID, and select "update". It immediately jumps to the screen with my icon, and then gives me a status bar and says "waiting" for an unending amount of time.
I have tried power cycling our wireless router and modem, power cycling the iPod, deleting the apps from all locations then syncing the iPod, and reinstalling the apps.
Nothing I try seems to get me out of this never ending cycle of inability to download and install updates.
Any ideas?How are you accessing the mail on the laptop? If you are using a mail client, Outlook, etc, then the mail is being downloaded to the laptop.
If you want to read them on the iPod, then in the account on the iPod, make sure that you turn off delete from server, then after looking at them on the iPod, delete the messages. You will then be able to pick them up on the laptop. Or, as Illaass said, read them with a web client. -
Hi, Im using an iPhone 4 8gb and recently updated my software using my computer to iOS 6.1.3 and some of the tabs are now grayed out and cant function (specific reference to "Show My Caller ID - On/Off tab"). is there a way to fix this or can i downgrade back to my default software?

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff. -

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links. -

Again, Apps will always be tied to the account from which they were purchased and will always have to be updated using that account.

If you want them to be on your account then you need to buy them using your account. -
When I go to the app store on the I pad and tap on an app to get a description, it does not do anything. I have my iPad 2 for just a few days and it did not start doing this until just a few minutes ago. Any suggestions?
I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Reboot iPad
5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID
