After IOS8 can't connect to App Store or ITunes Store on IPad 2. Tried logging out but now won't let me log back in!
Completely frustrated and considering dropping Apple. My IPad 2 is quickly becoming a brick after loading IOS 8. No WIFI problems, IOS up to date, logged out of the App Store and ITunes in settings - but no app store access, no ITunes access and my photos now won't load to IMAC. Any suggestions? Jeez, I really liked my Apple products, too...
Back up all data.
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.

My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

An updated game app has erased itself but App Store still has it as 'Open'. Tried to reinstall but it won't allow me to. Any solutions out there?
Download to your iTunes library and
- First try syncing to the iPod
- Next backup the iPod to iTunes and then restore from backup. See:

Forcing program to close, I am deleting a lot of files from my trash but it stopped working about 1/2 way through (1650 files left) so I tried to reboot but it won't let me because a the program is still running which I can't close (stuck at 1650 files to go). So it allowed me to click cancel now it says "stopping" for 3hrs now. Is there anyway to force the MacBook Air (new model) to close as you can't remove the battery?
Press and hold the power button until the Mac turns itself off. This force-shutdown should be done only after you've exhausted other options (you seem to have done so).
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Then press the power button to start up the Mac. It will take a little longer to start up because it will perform additional self-tests on the first boot after a forced shutdown.
Once the bootup is complete, you should be able to delete the trash. Hold down the option key while choosing to empty the trash, which will automatically delete "locked" items. -

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

That Apple ID is stored inside each of those applications. If you can’t get back into it, you’ll need to delete and redownload all of them, which may require repurchasing paid ones.

Can I download free apps from the iTunes store, without submitting a credit card number?
I've tried to download free Apps from the iTunes store several times. It tells me to login, so I do. Then it says "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. Please review your account information." When I click Review, then I click continue, I Agree to the terms and conditions, then it wants me to enter my credit card number! BUT ITS FREE!!!!!

You've tried logging out of your account on your phone and logging back in to see if that fixes it ?
If it doesn't then try closing the App Store app via the phone's multitasking bar : from the phone's homescreen (i.e. not with the App Store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a soft-reset (i.e. a reboot) and see if you can : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear (you won't lose any content).
Then see if the App Store app can connect. -

JJust connected Apple TV and get it going. I connected to my home network no problem, and went to connect to the iTunes Store. Put in my normal Apple ID info, and yes I checked on my iPad, that it was correct. Get the error, can't connect to iTunes Store.

If you are only seeing Computers and Settings icons now that would imply connectivity to the internet has been lost -- if you see the other icons, can you play movie trailers, YouTube snippets etc If so unless the iTunes Store is having temporary issues you should be able to connect. -

Go to the main iTunes store screen.
Go to the very bottom right of thes creen and click flag/marble icon.
Select the US store.
Instead of selecting *Create account*, select Redeem.
Input the card number then select Create new account (unless you already have an iTunes account then use that).
If these iTunes gift cards are from the US, you need to create a US iTunes account with a US address. -

Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.

You're not making a lot of sense.
You can't "delete icloud". And you certainly can't "delete icloud" from an iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G can't run anything higher than iOS 4.2.1, which does not support iCloud.
