It doesn't look like the query is inserting any values other
than NULL. You may want to look into that.
Some of your column names may be reserved words. For example
FIRST and LAST. If those are reserved words for your db type,
either rename the columns permanently (recommended) or escape them.
The escape syntax is db dependent.

HT4623 My ipad keeps crashing & now it won't come back on, just comes up to connect to itunes. Did that and tried a restore but just keeps comin up an unknown error, help please, I have so much on my ipad.

If it keeps coming up with an unknown error - no error code given - try another computer. If that doesn't work, it's time to take it to an Apple Store or an authorized service center to have the device evaluated.

Itunes 10.4.1 64bit for Win 7 can't find quicktime, QTCF.dll error -- HELP PLEASE!

Every time I install itunes 10.4.1 64bit for Win 7, it says it is unable to find quicktime, then instructs me to uninstall itunes then install it again. I've done this several times but still have the same problem. There is also another promt that says quicktime can't find the entry point and there's an error having to do with QTCF.dll ... what is this and how can I get my iTunes to work? Help please!

Let's try a standalone QuickTime.msi update. It may not install correctly either, but fingers crossed at least the error messages we get from that install may better indicate the nature of the trouble with the QuickTime install.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the QuickTime.msi to do a standalone QuickTime.msi install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes install properly now?

Broken Bonjour with Canon MF4350d after 10.6 upgrade - Help Please.

I have been using a Canon 4350d with no problems with 10.5.8 - including Printer Sharing (Bonjour). Now, after updating to 10.6 (now 10.6.2) I can still print fine, but I have lost all Printer Sharing. All settings appear to be right, and my other macs appear to be printing through the one connected via USB to the printer, but it never goes through. HELP Please. Thank you.

According to the UFR2 User Guide on page 2-8, the driver can be removed from the Mac by trashing the following folders. Note that you should delete the print queue first, by opening Print & Fax, selecting the MF model in the Printers list and pressing the minus button.
System Volume > Library > Printers > Canon > UFR2
System Volume > Library > Launch Agents > jp.co.canon.UFR2.BG.plist
System Volume > Library > Printers > PPDs > Contents > Resources > en.lproj > CNTD**Z*2.ppd.gz
(where * indicates the printer model and 2 indicates the language of driver used)
With these files removed you can then empty the trash, although you may have to open Activity Monitor and stop the 'UFR II Backgrounder' service before you are able to remove all the files from the trash.
With the v2.10 driver removed you are ready to add another driver. However you need to be aware that the v1.80 driver cannot be used on 10.6. If you were using it previously then it would suggest that the 10.6 Mac was an upgrade from 10.5 rather than a clean 10.6 install. On a clean 10.6 Mac, then v1.80 driver will not operate correctly.
What you may be able to do is have the v1.80 driver installed on a Mac running Leopard and shared. You may then be able to use the v2.10 driver on the Snow Leopard Mac's to print to the Leopard share using the v1.80 driver. Note that I haven't tried this so I cannot say if this will work for you. Personally I always ensure I get a printer with Ethernet or wireless support so that I can avoid printer sharing...

ive been making a short film with my son and putting some basic effects in, just for a laugh.
i noticed an effect on ADOBE TV that was done by Gareth Edwards in his movie MONSTERS which i thought would be good to try out in my film but i carnt get it right,,

It's a simplified explanation of the process. He left out explanations of motion tracking and perspective matching that were most certainly required for the shot being discussed.
If you are doing the same process to a static, locked off shot, with no foreground objects passing in front of your sign, it would be very possible to create a single frame in Photoshop and just layer it over your scene in AE. But once the camera moves, you will need to understand Motion Tracking. If objects pass in front of the replaced component, you will need to understand Masking.

Sequence of events;-
Phone recognised by Blackberry Link.
Reload device software selected - updated version 10.0.10.90 available.
Get update - software appears to load correctly then Z10 unplugged.
Phone reboots, Welcome to Blackberry, English(UK) ticked, swupe left.
No SIM card available, swipe to WI-Fi.
Password entered for home network and confirmation screen shows connected.
Agreement Screen - Country changed to United Kingdom(English),
at bottom of screen under I agree to the Blackberry SLA....
the 'I Agree' and 'I Do Not Agree' buttons can not be selected and
after a short delay Unable to connect screen appears.
Pressing 'Settings' goes back to Wi-Fi Networks page with
confirmation that connection is good and round we go again.
Having performed software update several times as above and also from
www.BlackBerry.com/updates by following forum posting at

Can't get into IPad 2 after latest update. HELP, PLEASE!??

I made the mistake of updating my IPad 2 to the latest IOS7. Now I cannot get into it. When I turn it on, it says 'hello' and to swipe to set up the new update. Sometimes the swipe brings up a new screen; sometimes it just scrolls through several languages. Sometimes it asks for my Apple ID and gets as far as "updating ICloud." It NEVER finishes updating ICloud!
I cannot reach my apps or a normal looking screen. Can someone help, please? Is there any way to get this update to work or to UNDO the update? I'll be grateful if you can help....... Thank you so much!

Xcode entering input error help please

When i run Xcode 4.5.2 on Lion and i need to enter some input (ex. cin.getline(array,10)), i need to press enter two times to keep going.
Here is the code:

I enter Juan in player1 then i press [Enter] and i need to press another [Enter] if i want the prgram to continue
and when i enter the palindrom is not stored in the array, instead the second [Enter] is stored on the palindrom array.

You are mixing up two different ways of getting user input.
1. getline -- a standard <stdio> function which reads user input and a return;
2. cin -- a C++ <iostream> function which reads user input and a return.

After Effects Configuration Error 5 PLEASE HELP

I am on a Mac with 10:9 Mavericks intalled and I cannot get After Effects CC to run without this Configuration Error 5. It happpened on Mountain Lion too. I have spent over 30 hours on the phone with tech support, uninstalling and reinstalling, using the cleaner, setting permissions, running commands in terminal, installing from the root directory and new admins and everything I could find on this forum that would help me. I can't afford to have this happen any longer, my job is on the line. Please does anyone have any advice to get this to work. Thank you.

I'm not sure if this is your issue, but the Maverick's update changed Adobe preferences folder settings on some systems. Check and set this folder's permissions to read/write for it and all its sub-folders.

SQL INSERT problem - help please

I'm having a problem with INSERT statement.
There is a "ShowFinal.jsp" page, which is a list of candidates who selected from the second
interview. The user picked some candidates from the list and conduct the 3rd interview. After
he check suitable candidates(who are selected from the 3rd interview) from the list , enter
basic salary for every selected candidate, enter date of interview and finally submit the form.
These data should be save into these tables.
FinalSelect(nicNo,date)
EmpSalary(nicNo,basicSal)
In this "ShowFinal.jsp" page, it validates the following conditions using JavaScript.
1) If the user submit the form without checking at least one checkbox, then the system should be
display an alert message ("Please select at least one candidate").
2) If the user submit the form without entering the basic salary of that candidate which was
checked, then the system should be display an alert message ("Please enter basic salary").
These are working well. But my problem is how to wrote the "AddNewFinal.jsp" page to save these
data into the db.

It is clearly that your problem is not on the database end, more like a servlet/jsp issue.
I will not comment on the javascript portion, but rather the 2 jsps.
a simple way to trace what's go wrong is to check the final result (the html code) of the first jsp (showFinal.jsp), and compare against what is expected by the 2nd jsp (AddNewFinal.jsp). Most browser do provide "view source" on the page visited.
the following code

the second attempt to use String[] value = request.getParameterValues("ChkNicno" + iCounter); give Cannot resolove symbol :iCounter. because iCounter never defined in the 2nd jsp!
Most of the error message do give clue to cause of error... : )
not too sure on your intension, assume you wish to update only those selected (checked) row to db.
some suggestions:
1) <input type="text" name="ChkNicno" size="10"> </td>...
<input type="text" name="basicSal" size="10"> instead.
then use javascript to based on checked element index (refer to javascript spec for more details), for those index not checked, clear off the correspond index "basicSal" field value.
e.g. ChkNicno[1] is not checked, empty basicSal[1] value before submission.
This will give us only selected rows values.
2) retain the code

Beginner - Flat file upload error Help Please

I am trying to upload a flat file [.csv] for the first time.
I created Info objects Material Id, Material Name , Price as keyfigure.
Material Id holds Material Name and Price as attributes and is With Text and With Master Data.
For the Keyfigure, Price, I have selected Amount and defined as USD.
In the flat file, i have Material id, Material Name, Price, Description for Text, its something like this
Mid         M-Name   Price      DESCRIPTION
10001     A              99.99     AA
When I create an Application Component and thereafter create a data source for master data attributes for Material
and select the flat file and upload it, then the data types for Keyfigure PRICE changes to FLTP Length 16, its no longer as DEC and i get some werid data for Price field, something like
"99.990000000001E+02" instead of 99.99.   Why am I having this problem and how could this be resolved ?
I thought i would start off with my best foot forward but it didnt work. Any kind of help would be highly appreciated. Thanks guys..Byee

Right Click data targets and select manage and in contents tab select contents to view the loaded data. There are two tables in ODS new table and active table to load data from new table to active table you have to activate after selecting the loaded data . Alternatively monitor icon can be used

After Effects Alert! Help Please!!! Adobe After Effects

After Effects is very important to me as it gives me my greatest income, but since 2 days now, I havent been able to work using it as it gives me the following error:
"After Effects Alert

This error occured with my After Efects CS6, and I couldnt find a solution to it, now I installed After Effects CC and still same error!!! My system information is:
"MacBook Pro
13-inch, Early 2011
Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software OS X 10.9 (13A497d)"
Note: Im using Apple - OS X Mavericks
Please I need help on this!!! I have also tried deleting the preference and allowing it generate a new one, but stil it doesnt work!!!

If After Effects is the primary source of income then the decision to install and run AE on a platform still in development was not a wise decision. I've done a bunch of development over the last 20 years with AE, and I've always had a backup version of my system, a dual boot to the new OS, or a dedicated machine for testing so that my families income was not in jeopardy while I was 'testing' a new system.
It takes about an hour and a half to install Mountain Lion and AE on a machine. I'd do that and get back to work. In all of my years beta testing for many manufacturers and working with developers I've never lost 2 days because I handcuffed my self to an unproven system.
If you must test a new OS set up a dual boot, or boot to a different hard drive. Either option is available easily on a Mac or a Windows PC. Don't expect Adobe to release an update that makes AE compatible with the new OS until the new OS is released to the public.
As another note, from what I've read the problems with CC on Mavericks are mostly a problem with Mavericks right now. There's not much that Adobe can do about that.
Just one other question? Are you an Apple Developer? If so, did you not just violate your NDA???

Chapter end action triggers General Error - Help please!

Hi, I am working on a project and have come to a big problem in the last hurdle, classic! Really need your help, experts!
I have 2 Timelines, each one with 6 audio tracks and 2 subtitle tracks
One of the timelines is longer than the other one because it has two different films in it.
Everything was working fine until I realised I had forgotten to set the end action to the last chapter of the first video in the timeline, I need it to either stop or return to main menu or last menu, otherwise it will go on to play the second film and i don't want this to happen.
When I set the end action to the chapter 10, it looks fine, I check and no problems.
But when it starts transcoding... after a bit, when it has transcoded all the languages it goes to prepare to build and I get GENERAL ERROR and it freezes.
Please please please if somebody can help me it would be very much appreciated.

Please list the Assets on each of the two Timelines with full detail. A screen-cap of each would probably be very useful and save you some typing.
Some things to also think about is are there any spots where your Audio is longer (even very slightly) than the accompanying Video? Are there any gaps on any of the Timelines? When you added that "End Action," exactly how/where did you add it? Also, if you have any Chapter Playlists, or Playlists, please give details on those.

How to record a cover help please

so i want to record my vocals while i hear the audio clip how can i do this?
because every time i begin to record the backround audio that i put into adobe audtion stops playing. What i want to do is listen and sing along with the audio clip.
How can i achieve this please help. thanks

i agree with some of your earlier comments about the notes not been of much help and the course lacking some information. It has taken me almost 9 days to get one to work through a lot of trial and error and a lack of clear details.
Here are some of the steps (and I am more than happy for anyone to clear these up or add to them!)
Create a project in Jdev
sent FND: Diagnostics to yes for your user
sign into the application that you want to change and go to the page that you want to change.
At the bottom of the page you will see an about this page link, click on the link.
THis will open up the page to show the different objects within the page.
download the BC4J (including the CO/EO objects) components into your <JDEV_HOME>/myclasses using the EXACT same directory structure created on your PC as the one on your apps server.
Copy the WEBUI items to myprojects using the same directory structure as on the server
Exapnd all the items on the page and find the item that you want to change which should be linked to a VO. If you click on the VO it should give you something link oracle.apps.icx.etc.etc.
go to JAVA_TOP on your apps tier and download this file to the correct directory structure. As these files are a mix of class and xml files copy them all to your PC.
You will have to decompile the class file to get java files (Jad is s good tool to do this). Copy the java files to your project directory.
You will then have to import these files into your project using File-->Import.
Hopefully this is a good start.
