After SALV Refresh, rows are still selected in display
I have an SALV output (simple list) that updates a database table based upon user action. During the user_command processing, I modify the internal table for the SALV, removing the rows that have been updated by the user, and clearing my index row table created from the get selects methods (this appears to prevent this problem in older ALV versions). Then, I do a alv->refresh( ).
Upon re-entry to the SALV display, all the data is correct, but the rows that were previously selected by the user are highlighted. For example, if the user updated row 1, I do the processing and return to the SALV display after refresh. Row 1 (formerly row 2) is now highlighted.
If the user updated rows 1 and 3, upon return to the screen 1 and 3 are still selected (were 2 and 4 before the update). . If the user updated the last row, the SALV display has no rows highlighted and cursor is on row 1, column 1, which would seem to be the correct behavior after the refresh.
SALV_DEMO* programs don't appear to handle this, and I don't find any method that will let me reset that prior user selection.
Any suggestions to correct the "memory" feature of the SALV display?

All photos in portrait format are displayed blurred in the preview mode "fill" of the library. In all other modes e.g. "fit"or "1:2" the photos are sharp. How can I change this, so that the photos are still sharp when displaying them in the mode "fill"? My Lightroom release is 5.7.1.
Thanking you in anticipation!I'd like to get all these '-1 suffix' files together with their associated Develop adjustments into one folder (if they aren't already) so I can see them in Grid view in the Library module, which I use as my basic starting point for everything else at this early stage of my Lightroom 'career'.
To see what folder these are stored in, right-click on a photo and select "Go to Folder in Library".
Advice: if you are going to use Lightroom effectively, you probably want to stop using folders as your method to create a grouping of photos that are already in Lightroom; there are plenty of built-in tools, such as keywords, collections, color labels, etc.
I don't understand why the search on the entire catalog picked up apparently the same two file versions but also got the Develop adjustments when going to the relevant Folder didn't show the adjustment black squares against each image in Grid view nor were they there when the images were opened in the Develop module. Perhaps if I understood this, I'd be a bit more confident of moving forward myself.
These are most likely different versions of the same photo, in different folders. Lightroom stores the edits in its own catalog, and so it knows that one folder's photos have edits, and the other folder's photos do not have edits. Please understand that Lightroom is a database, it knows where the photos are at the time you import them (or add them to the catalog by synchronize), and then if you move things around in your operating system, Lightroom does not know anything about that and problems begin. Thus the advice to organize using Lightroom tools and methods and not operating system tools and methods. -

do they in fact get selected or do they just show selected? To me it sounds as if what you see is kind of a ctrl+A effect. Have you tried different browsers? And which JDeveloper version are we talking about ?

Deleted Reports are still selectable from catalog
Hello,
I deleted some workbooks from the catalog with discoverer plus for olap (tools --> administrate catalog)
But when I start Discoverer the workbook-assistant comes up - and it still shows these workbooks! However, if I try to open such a zombi-workbook, i get an error.
And if i later click on "open", discoverer will only show me the existing workbooks. The zombie-workbooks are only shown directly after login. Why?

This sounds like a bug to me. I would suggest you raise a SR with Oracle and see what they say.
In the meantime, I will dig around and see what I can find out.

How can I get my iPhone 4 to update my updates from my app store of it keeps telling me error 3150 or it tell me to refresh the page after updates and the updates are still there asking me to update them again?
Make sure iTunes on the computer is logged into the account on the phone.
Plug the iPhone in.
In the popup window warning about wiping your phone, hit cancel.
In the left pane of iTunes, the phone icon should be there.
Right click on it, select transfer purchases.
Note: this will only transfer music bought from iTunes. Not mp3's from amazon or ripped from CD's. -
Can't figure out why colors don't totally change when you select type with curser? It looks like it has by looking at it, but when you highlight the area after the old color is still there. It happens with objects to. Driving me NUTZ. Help!
Select the text, and open the Appearance palette (Come on guys, text highlight is irrelevant, it happens to objects too says the OP), and see what's listed there. For a simple text object, there should only be a line item "Type", followed by "Characters", and when double-clicked the Characters line item expands to tell you the stroke and fill color. For a basic object, there should be a fill and/or stroke.
What happens sometimes, is that you end up adding extra strokes/fills to objects or text, and the appearance palette is where that will be noted. Especially when you are dealing with groups, and/or picking up a color with the eyedropper, you may inadvertently be adding a fill or stroke on top of something. You can drag those unwanted thingies from the Appearance palette into its own little trash can. -
After ApplyMRD Report Rows on some clients are not refreshed

i've come across an issue regearding mr delete on some clients using ie for acess to an apex application.
a report displays a number of rows of a single table.
the user is able to check some rows.
a special button branches to an url "javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'MULTI_ROW_DELETE');"a standard mrd process, using table pk, deletes the checked rows.
most of the clients work fine.
on some clients the deleted rows still appear in the report. the shown data will not be refreshed untill user logs out and logs in to the application.
i double checked that the rows are physically deleted from the table.
any idea if this is an ms ie issue and whch option has to be changed?
and no, customer can't switch to ff because of administrative policy.

When importing, de-select images I want removed from disk. After import they are still there?
When I take all the raw images from my card and put in a new folder on my desktop. I then move folder to my pictures folder on a MAC/lightroom 4.Then open up LR and select onlyy images I am interested in and (remove from disk) ones I don't want. Then import to lightroon, for some reason they are still in folder in pictures?
It is not very clear what you are exactly doing.
Did you import them all and want to delete after importing , then :
The choice you get is:
Remove ( from Lightroom) and
Delete from Disk, it is only the latter that will delete them from your disk.
During import you can not delete not selected files.

I would like to clear my address row history completely, but I never get it totallly emptied. The remaining addresses are not bookmarked, i.e no stars on the row, but still exist after I have emptied all history both via the History link and via the Tools link. How come adresses still can exist after I have done this?

No. This is my first project and we are evaluating oracle over other warehouse

All is working except the rows are not loaded. Mapping is validated correctly. Deployed successfully, executed successfully from the deployment manager but 0
rows are loaded. You get a small pop up window after execute of a mapping. Log message
at the end of the execute shows insert 0, update 0, delete 0 and merged 0.
The mapping consists of two table operators. One from source table from differenct schema and one for target. There is nothing so complicated here. All I want is
to copy the data from source to target table through warehouse. My question really what do I need to insert the record? Once the mapping is defined, deployed and executed should not the rows be loaded?
Everything else is working. Like creation of target tables and so on.
The source operator properties are bound_name-eqpthist_qtr, primary source-no loading type-Insert.
The target has bouondname-test, primary source-no, loading type delete/insert.after the execution there errors whatsoever. It executes with out any error.
Its working when I replace the source table with one from the target schema itself. I mean a copied table to target using slqplus. I uses any tables under its schema itself then all the rows are inserted. Its not working when copying/referencing from another source schema. THe target user is given select any table, all object privileges of the source table, even dba role. Still no rows are loaded.

The detail part of table doesn't refresh after deleting a row
Hello!
I'm developing a Master-Detail table with some a functionality. Particularly, I want to invoke a DELETE function in the Detail part of the table.
For this purpose, I placed a Command button to the tableSelectOne component of the Detail part of the table, which stores current row key and calls another page. On this (<another>) page I created a ReadOnly form with data related to the row of Detail table, which key is stored. In addition, I added there two Command buttons. First of them is a CancelButton, which does nothing except returning to master-detail page. The second is a DeleteButton, which executes a RemoveEntity method and returns to master-detail page, too.
When I'm tried to delete in this way a row from detail part of table, I discovered, that this row is really deleted from the database, but it doesn't affect on the content of the Detail part of the table. Any kinds of refreshing couldn't aid me, only restart of the application.
Could anybody help me to solve this problem?

you need to define an invoke action in the binding
for your m/d page and set it into the page binding's
execute section. Then set the condition for invoking
the action to !postback. This will re-execute the
iteratorThis efectively re-executes the iterator, so the master table data is refreshed. You can see the TopLink log showing the query to the db (I'm using TopLink instead of BC). The problem is that the detail rows are queried only once and only the inserts and updates are displayed, not the deletes.
I think the problem may be related to PPR or some cache issue.

The only solution I can think of is using a different model method (a method in the SessionFacade for TopLink) for the detail table (one that takes the master PK as parameter and retrieves the corresponding detail records) and have a selectionListener in the selection component of the master re-execute the method (passing the PK from the master table current row).
Is there a solution that doesn't require the use of a separate method for the detail?

I only have a portion of songs from my itunes library selected to synch to my iphone 5 (35 songs from one artist). They have always been on my phone without issue, even after updating to the ios7. Just last night however, about half of those songs randomly deleted.....now only 15 of those songs are appearing on my iphone. I tried deselecting that artist when synching my phone to itunes to wipe the songs off completely, and then reselecting that artist's songs to synch to my phone, but again only the 15 songs would show up after the synch. Long story short, all 35 songs are still available in my itunes library, yet only 15 of the songs will synch with my phone. I have never had this problem, even after synching new songs from that artist to my phone when synching it with itunes. Dont know if this has something to do with ios7.....if somebody could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!
I forgot to mention that when I look at the playlist that has been tranferred to the iPhone all the ones that won't play and are greyed out have a sync symbol next to the check mark.

Pictures in "photos" tab (sidebar) are still present after deleting from original album.
After importing my library from iPhoto to photos (Version 1.0 (209.52.0)), i deleted a large number of photos from one of my events (now an album). In this album i can only see the photos which i wanted. However when i select the "photos" tab at the very top of the sidebar, the deleted photos are still able to be seen. They are not in the 'recently deleted' section either. How do i permanently delete them? Should i remove them from the "photos" tab, or from the "all photos" album?
There also seem to be many duplicated photos in my library after the importing. Is there an easy way to find and remove the duplicates?

Working on a MBP 13 inch (mid '12) with 2.9 GHz Intel core i7, 8GB memory and 1TB hard drive.Deleting them from the "Photos" tab will delete them. (actually, it will move them to the "deleted items" area, where they'll be permanently deleted after 30 days).
The duplicates could be for one of two reasons:
1) The photo was in your library and in your photo stream. It's possible this is causing some duplication
2) You could have actually had lots of duplicates in your iPhoto library, and this is just easier to see in Photos -
Calendar items created on my Iphone 4S are not showing up in the Calendar on my MacPro after USB Sync.. even though they are still on the phone... ideas???
In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:
