After update of ios for my ipod touch and plugging it into my laptop to connect to itunes it just froze.it goes from red battery back to apple icon.what can i do?

i update my ipod touch to ios 6 and now the ipod doesn't charge and it shows red battery then goes back to apple icon.i think its frozen.i need help.
can anyone help?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

How to i update my ios for my ipod touch to 5.0.1

I have another ipod touch and ipad with version 5.0.1 and I want to update my other ipod touch to the same version, so we can share all of our apps. However, I am forced to try to update to version 6.0.1 -
I cannot update to this version. I have tried countless times via hooking up the ipod to the computer and it says it will take 3 hours. Hours later, no error message and the update is not completed. I thought maybe I would try updating to vers 5.0.1 - but cannot find where I am able to do this.

Keeps crashing after updating to iOS 6 on iPod touch

I updated my iPod touch 4thgeneration to iOS 6 few days ago, and everything was all good (all of my apps worked perfectly fine before updating to ios 6) until i updated to ios 6 and every single app that's on my iPod keeps crashing including iTunes and App Store. What's the problem? Is it my iPod touch that has a problem or is it the iOS 6 that has a problem? Or is it due to lots of bugs on the update of iOS 6? Please help ASAP! Thank you!

I never had this problem until I kept up with their updates. Every time I update my ipod there's a bigger lag and everything crashes. I thought it was some of the apps and then my photos crash, their itunes and app stores crash, it's just rediculous. Figure it out people. The whole IOS6 and up has done nothing but make your prooducts worse. And it's sad the only way I can get rid of this bug is to back up my almost 2,000 pictures and videos and all my music just to fix your mistakes. Honestly, I think you should provide me with something to backup all my imformation on considering it's apple's mistake not mine, and also the fact that I pay a bill for an Iphone I own EVERY MONTH. I don't pay you guys to ruin my phone. I'm honestly sick of apple products.

A couple months ago I updated my iPod touch to the most recent ios (6.1.3). Now, my music works normally except for one thing: some of it is gray colored and unplayable. I have one album of music that I actually bought on my iPod and only one song in it is playable. I also have some music that I bought on my computer and synced into my iPod and only choice music of that collection is playable. Then I have four of five tangible albums that I bought and downloaded onto my computer and then synced to my iPod. It's just so weird how only some choice songs or albums are unplayable, but a lot of it is of some of my favorites artists, so I really hope this can be fixed! Thanks!

How did it get on your ipod in the first place if not from your comptuer?

If your iMessage and FaceTime still hasn't activated by now, I would recommend you use this specific section of the following article as long as you verify you've done all the other troubleshooting from it for this issue:
