after update to OS4.2.1 I can not get the ringer to work for incoming calls. If I set Vibrate on, that's the only notification I get. Tried everything including blowing away ALL my apps and restoring phone to new. Lost all my apps but the ringer still won't ring

God Bless u! LOL I have an otterbox case on my phone and had no clue that the mute button was there....Thank you so much!! The volume on my movies & everything else worked...even when I would go into "settings" and adjust the volume of the ringtone. I knew it was something simple...Thanks again..

The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

JRockit_160_05_R27.6.2-20 can not get the correct os name for Windows Server 2008 SP1 using System.getProperty("os.name").
System.getProperty("os.name") will return Windows Vista instead of Windows Server 2008 when running on Windows Server 2008 SP1. Is it a bug of this jdk?
I tested it on Sun JDK 1.6. It returns the correct name Windows Server 2008.
Any suggestion will be welcomed. Thanks in advanced!

I can not get the temperature to work.

I just got my MSI FX 5900XT yesterday and it is running fine. However I can not get the temperature to show on it. I have tried everything I can find on the forums like the different registry hacks and such. And it still does not work.
In the one program 3D Turbo when it is first starting up it looked like the temps are trying to work then they just shut off. It stats to lite up and stuff they just goes down.
Anyone know of another program or something else that I can try to get it to work ?
Again I have tried everything that I have found on these forums that people have suggested so do not say try that stuff.
I know this card has a temp probe as the 5900XT cards from other companies works fine people tell me. So unless MSI done something and took it out it should be there and be able to work just fine.

I purchased the card also from newegg and i have yet to get the temp sensor to work. I read in one reveiw that the chip for that is not in this card. Also that the overclocking program from Msi should not be used. I have searched all over for some info on the dynamic overclock technology DOT .The only mention of it is on the motherboard overclocking but it looks like its part of the video driver ? I have had very poor results trying to overlclock this card. 3d clock 450 ram 730 locks up all the time . I also run a amd 2400

I am sorry that you are having problems with your voice to text function. I know that I love that feature! Actually, you can find out what exactly to say and how to say it by touching the small ? at the bottom right when you initiate S Voice. For example, for texts, all you have to say is "Text (contact name) message. What's up?" And it will create a new text to your contact name with what is said after the word "message." Find out about more things that you can do in the small ? at the bottom. I would make sure that you speak clearly because the default for anything S Voice can't understand is to do a Google Search. I'm in New Zealand and the latest software release for Nokia Lumia 1020 is Lumia Cyan (3051.50009.1424.00xx)
When I goto about your mumia
this shows software: Lumia Black Release
and the firmware revision number is 3051.40000.1345.1004.
But when I check for updates, the update status is your phone is update to date.
is there anyone has updated his/her lumia 1020 to Lumia Cyan?

I can not get the FMMS to work on tmobile network

I downloaded the FMMS app and try to send mms but it keeps giving me an error for APN location. the only apn location available is tmobile internet and below there is a mmsc: http://... I also am not sure what goes in there as an address.and what would be the resize 120? 200?

Can not Get the Sample Recording working

This is the first time using LCCS, and my questions are:
I used the LCCS sample Recording and I cann’t get this to work
How to you register a repository for a given developer account, the document is not clear on how to do this
I am having problems sharing my screen, do I need to place everything in a ConnectSessionContainer or can I use ConnectSession?

I presume that the TV is actually switched to your Joytech AV device ? I presume it gives some kind of signal so that you check that the TV can actually detect it. I once spent a happy few hours trying to use my TV in this way only to find it was switched to the composite inputs not the S-Video one. ;-)

Satellite Pro M70: Can not get the TV OUT working

I have connected my laptop to my TV via the TV-OUT socket and a 4 pin S-Video lead. I have turned on the TV as an output in the advanced settings of my graphics card. I have selected TV via the Fn-F5 keys and I get nothing on my television.
Can anyone suggest what I might have left out to make this work?
The S-Video lead is new and the hook up to the TV is via a Joytech AV Control Center 2.
The Joytech unit is operational and the video lead appears OK as the Fn-F5 key press indicates that a TV is available - this disappears as an option if I unplug the video lead from the Joytech unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
