I have no idea what this is and have googled it, followed links to sites that say they can fix it, only for them to scan, tell me I have 3 thousand issues and then want me to pay $30 dollars to fix it for me. I've been through the exact same thing and cannot seem to get an answer here. When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.

After updating Firefox to 5.0.1 the add-ons Manager did not show any of my add-ons, although they were all running. Several restarts of Firefox, even with the add-ons disabled did not bring them back. I then installed another add-on and after restarting, all of the previous add-ons are now shown in the manager.
Running on Mac 10.5.8. Add-ons installed:
Adblock Plus, Add-on Compatibility reporter, Ant Video Downloader, Forecastfox, Google toolbar, Reload Every, Session Manager, and Steep and Cheap Watcher.
Note: the troubleshooting information was taken after the problem was fixed. Prior to fixing the issue, there were no items under the Extensions heading. Add-on Compatibility Reporter was the add-on that was added to restore all of the other add-ons, even though it was already installed.

FWIW, renaming or deleting extensions.sqlite and the other files beginning with "extensions." causes the files to be rebuilt from the extensions directory, so nothing is lost, but they will be restored in alphabetical order.
I've solved places.sqlite problems by simply restoring a bookmarks backup, or creating a bookmarks backup and restoring that rather than face loss of history.

Does not load all of page

some pages i go to do not load all pictures, links, and buttons. they were working but shortly after upgrade they quit working. i have tried on other browsers and they work fine there. i have checked all settings and have done a clear on history and cookies. went though your help and not found anything that has helped. the link giving below is one of several web page am having trouble with this here is just log in screen here but it does not show the buttons or ling to continue. on other sites i go to it will not load the images and some of the links are missing.

Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

many websites do not load all pictures and images since I updated to 6.0. Can I undo update?

*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

I'm using Firefox on Windows XP professional x64 SP2.
I also use a program called "Proxifier" which directs all traffic from my computer to the Internet and vice versa through a proxy server and does the name resolution through proxy DNS not system DNS. Before updating my Firefox to v. 16.0.1, everything was working fine: Firefox connections were made through "Proxifier" and all the connections made by Firefox were shown in Proxifier's window.
But after updating Firefox, traffic from Firefox does not pass through Proxifier and in other words Firefox opens websites if I disable Proxifier. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH Internet Explorer which works fine and its traffic is directed through Proxifier as usual.
I did an extensive search through Google for a solution, and most relevant results suggest that it may have something to do with messed up LSP_CATEGORIES:

Also tried installing previous versions of Firefox such as v. 13 or 3.6.28 but the problem exists with these versions as well.
Unfortunately nothing has worked so far. I'm really puzzled since Internet Explorer is working fine with Proxifier and this problem with Firefox appeared only after updating it.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
