After updating to 12.0, I can't copy and paste images from any website; instead of the image pasting, the URL for the image pastes instead; help, please?
This applies to copying from any website, and pasting to any and all applications. This is exactly coincidental to install of 12.0. This is a basic, common, and essential function of any web browser. I've read various unacceptable "workarounds" in a couple posts, and am respectfully requesting a truly professional response from Firefox re: what exactly can be done to restore this basic, elementary function. I have been a major Firefox fan up until now, and need it to provide this basic functionality in a dependable way - simple right-click, copy image, and paste the image (not it's URL). Thanks for helping (hopefully).
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I have 11 tabs in my homepage, but only the first tab will work, unless I close out Firefox and restart it. It usually takes three to six restarts before it works correctly and I can use the other tabs. However, if I have to restart again, it usually reverts back to only one tab working, and I have to keep restarting until it clears up once again.
The tabs all look like they should function, and when I click on one, it seems to become active, but the screen does not change, and I am stuck with the same tab, no matter which one I click on.Unfortunately, that is not the problem. I double checked; I do not have that option selected. Also, even after the tab is selected, it does not load. Nothing at all happens.

Im logging in with the same credentials that i used literally 15 minutes before the update.
Its really odd. it will not log into my desktop. its a totally new user but using my credentials so all my settings are fresh.
does anyone know a way of getting my machine back to its previous state? i dont use time machine (not sure that would help anyway)
We log into a server here at work which gives us access to the internet and other servers for files etc. But our programs/details are kept locally. like i say the user folder still exists but i cannot log into it as the credentials open up a new user. There are no other credentials to log in with either.

Chriswell me and my collegue fixed this. It had renamed the user folder to 'imac' i simply changed the user folder that i originally logged into back to its original name and its now fixed and letting me log back into my proper desktop.

I'm having the identical problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 7--no ability to update apps or download new apps. Here is what Apple tech support emailed to me:

Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7.
Otherwise I'm having a little success with this. Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all). So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process. -

stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work. -

Have you contacted your email provider to make sure there are no problems on their end? If they say their email servers are working properly, check the outgoing and incoming mail servers entries on your iPhone to make sure both are entered correctly. Enter the outgoing mail server even if the account setup indicates that is optional. -
After updating to 4.3 I can't connect to wi-fi because the "Internet speeds are too slow". So what speed does it need?
I called tech support and I got the same **** canned response, backup and reset to factory settings. Yeah right! Everything was fine until Verizon shoved the software update down my throat. I finally unchecked the box in Wi-Fi settings for auto network switch. However, I still get the "Your Internet connection is unstable" warning no matter what Wi-Fi connection I hit.
In a related story, I received a new or refurbished phone as my original SIII had AC/charging connection issues. I called probably three times to attempt to back up my data, went into two stores in attempts to have them transfer the information over, and all were too incompetent and inept to assist me. Only when talking to someone about this Wi-Fi issue, did someone actually know how to back up everything. Of course by this time, I had to send the new phone back because Verizon charged me $400 before I got everything squared away. What a colossal waste of my time!

After installing 7.0.2 on ipad 4 the system crashed spontaneously several times. Since that, it seems to have stabilized. I had a few crashes spaced out over several days after the initial 7 install, but after 7.0.2 there was a cluster of maybe 3 or
