after upgrading to the latest version of IOS 6.1.3 iphon's battery began discharging faster. Even at night, when the flightmode is on and all applications are off, it discharges on 20 percent.

I dont know the term but one thing I know was I didn't need to open it here in the philippines cause when I put the simcard inside the iphone it worked and everything was fine, I could send text and make calls sir. As of now, I'm planning to go to a mobile shop and ask them to update it for me, my only worry is when my iphone gets stuck on activation screen. can they solve it if my worry happens? my cousin experienced the same thing, her iphone 4s was stucked on the activation screen, it was sold to her mom by a mobile shop and I think it was not brand new, she tried activating it on the itunes here in the philippines but it didn't work and a mobile shop said it would not be activated because it was unlocked..

Unable to make changes after upgrading to the latest version.
I upgraded to the latest version (6) and I am still able to upload to my ftp but no changes actually take place on my site www.professional-liar.com
I still haven't been able to resolve this issue. Using filezilla didn't
work either. Filezilla accepted all the changes, but no changes on the
actual site.
I even tried to uninstall muse and reinstall and rebuild the site with a
new file, but when I tried to upload a test page that did not work either.

That and the iTunes DEP error suggest that some application (other than QuickTime itself) has stashed old QuickTime componentry down in your system files.
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
*If you have a 32-bit version of Windows,* open the "System32" folder.
*If you have a 64-bit version of Windows,* open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.) -

After importing the latest version of itune, I now get this message: "The I-tunes library file is locked, on a locked disk , or you do not have permission to write for this file. How do I resolve this?
check if you have read & write permissions for your music folder. in the finder, right-click on it and get info. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings if necessary. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and apply to enclosed items like so
the important part is to apply to enclosed items !

I have been using firefox for years. I downloaded the latest version and at the conclusion of the down load I was refussed access to the internet. Something about Proxy???? I checked my firewalls and security and they said that mozilla was allowed but everytime I attempt to gain access I am refused. I cant access the internet and I cant download another program to access the internet. I uninstalled Firefox and attempted to reinstall but after uninstalling Firefox I have no means to reinstall because there are no traces of it on my computer and I no longer have access to the internet. I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.

Having updated firefox, it does not work. After an hour or so to try and open firefox, it says firefox has crashed and gives option to restart or quit.
Same with internet explorer and chrome - no response. After about an hour, excel finally opened but so slow to be able to do anything.
Also noticed a message bottom right corner of screen saying this version of windows is not authentic. I have windows 7 and it is legitimate and have not seen this message before.
I have read lots on the internet but nothing seems to match my problem if nothing working. I am unable to change settings or look at set up of any programmes because I cannot get in to them.....
Any ideas would be so gratefully relieved please!!

After upgrading to the latest IOS version 7.1, in mail on ipad, if I select more than 5 mail items to delete the mail software package crashes and I have to relaunch mail? Anyone else noticed this?
I haven't encountered this problem on my iPad Air but this is what I usually do when Mail misbehaves.
Quit the Mail app like I describe then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. -

Three things come to mind:
1. I think you're implying when you travel away from your home to a more populated area, the cellular coverage improves and your iPhone works well. Is that right?
2. Do you have a case or some other obstruction over or near your iPhone's antenna? Have you tried moving or removing any possible obstructions near the antenna?
3. AT&T has a (free) app in the App Store called "Mark the Spot". You can use this app to report voice and/or data issues to AT&T, as well as keep up on progress they may be making in improving coverage in your area. Your trouble reports are geotagged (if you wish). -
