After using as modem, can no longer send/receive email. Any ideas why?

My IT department recently upgraded the service to include use of Blackberry as a modem. That works fine...the problem is each time I connect to the computer, it somehow wipes out my setting on the once I unplug, I'm on an Enterprise Server so each time this occurs, my IT folks have to reset my password.
Sprint had me erase the "Service Books" on the phone and then gave me a new one but that did not work.

I suggest backing up your device, then preforming a clean application load of the device software. To do this see the article below:

You can't update FaceTime separately from the rest of iOS, so are you referring to updating iOS? And if so, to which version?

I am using imap on all my other devices. I use a Google domain email address. The only divice I have that will not sync is this older generation iTouch. The version without the camera. Model PB528LL. I know my email address is correct and the password works everywhere else.

Iphoto on my macbook pro has stopped working. It comes up with a message saying that the library is either being used by another user or it is unreadable. Any ideas why I should be receiving this message?

Offered solution doesn't work:
Shut down and restart your computer, and then open iPhoto again. If the problem persists, try rebuilding your photo library. To do this, quit iPhoto, and then reopen it while keeping the Option and Command keys pressed. You can also try restoring your photo library from a backup.
I have already copied my photographs to the a library manager but when I tried to reuse iphoto and import the photos back into iphoto, it would not let me.

There is a possibility that when I went to update applications that I started to install Mavericks which I then interrupted and cancelled. I am not definite that this caused this problem but it was at about the same time as when this problem started.

You can't "copy" your photos to the "library manager", there is just no way to any such thing.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have BIS but can't surf, send/receive email, use apps

i have BB Curve 8520. My BIS was running smoothly (sending and receiving emails real time and surfing the net through BIS), until i noticed when i tried to reply to an email that came in, it won't send. i noticed that it's fluctuating. i was able to send the email after a few minutes... then a few minutes later, i received a replied email from my friend, and when i tried to send my reply, i wasn't able to. also, i can't surf using the browser with the "internet browser" as default. i tried using my wifi and then suddenly all my emails started coming in, all emails that were not able to go through hours ago. my big question was why do i need to turn on wifi just to receive emails. but since i had my BIS for 2 months now, i can send and receive emails and surf through BIS itself without turning on the wifi. also, i can't use any of my apps like facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger, etc. They used to work fine with BIS... but now, i have to turn on the wifi connection, so i could log in with them. aren't these supposed to be running through BIS only?
I have GPRS on top, not gprs. my carrier says i have active data plan/BIS. but under Services Status..it says Blackberry Internet Service: Connection: not connected...
so, i wiped out my BB and deleted all third party apps. when this was done, i received emails telling me "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network" and even got "Activation Server" emails telling me that the emails that i have previously set up are now up and running. so i thought my BB is now ok.. i tried surfing, it was okay. after like about 5 minutes, it was down again. tried sending email but can't... i turned on the wifi and boom! the emails started coming in again.i have the Host Routing Tables and my Service Books in my BB. I have GPRS (not gprs) on top which means i have active BIS. i have registered my HRTs several times... and resending my service books... same thing...
the big mystery is when i turn on the wifi, the emails suddenly go through and i can send emails. i can open apps that used to only run on BIS. this is ok i guess, but i could never do any of these if i'm not connected to wifi.
my sister and i have the same BB... i removed my sim and inserted it to her BB and the BIS worked fine... i was able to surf and use apps.. but when i put my sim back on my phone, the problem still exists. i even used a different sim card that is also subscribed to BIS/data plan, and it still has the same problem... my guess is my carrier is right that my data plan is working ok and that my handheld itself has the problem...
i updated my OS, same problem.. wiped it out... used BBSAK, reinstalled OS... numerous battery pulls... same thing... i can receive the HRTs and service books, but after that can't do anything else like i used to... (send/receive emails, use apps like facebook, twitter, ym, etc., can't surf with internet browser - except when wifi is on everything else work fine even emails and apps)..

After installing Maverick I can no longer highlight multiple emails the same way in orden out my mailbox I highlight a message,hold down my mouse and drag my cursor to highlight more messages. I click "delete" & they go to trash. How do I do this again?

After installing Maverick on my 2011 MacBookPro I can no longer highlight multiple emails in the same manner. To clean out my Inbox I highlighted a message, held my mouse down & dragged my cursor down through all the messages I wanted to delete (or move to another mailbox, or other functions) highlighting as many messages as I wanted. I then clicked "delete" & they went to trash. Such a great way to clean out a lot of messages at once. Can I and/or how do I do this again? Or is this something Maverick has eliminated? I also hate that "Notes" is no longer on the Mail page, but this is not as important. Help!!

Put differenltly, if I can drag select multiple items and objects on my desktop, which I can, using my Kensington Track Ball (which has an enabled updated software driver in place, so I don't think there's a problem there), why can't I click-drag-multipleselect emails in mail like I have *always* been able to? Really, what is the problem here? Why is that no longer possibler? I'm not a coder, but I can't believe this isn't fixable. Here, Apple should be ashamed of itself, regardless of the fact that there's an easy work around. When I have to alter the way I have been doing something for years and have to waste time learning something new and complaining about it -- like right now! -- and there's no good technical reason, and I bet there isn't, then Apple has simply failed.

Help, I can no longer send/receive images in messenger on my iphone 4

I have noticed that I can no longer send or receive images in messenger on my phone since the first IOS 7 update. Now i'm noticing that I can not send/receive anything other than text. Also, I can not receive the messages that are sent to a group, which is bad since my boss only sends group messages when we are closed for weather.
I have updated to the latest IOS 7.0.6 tonight but not sure what to do to start sending images again. I would really like to be able to share some of my pics with others and not have to post them to facebook. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much for your time.

I can't access any functionality on my icloud email account on my I pad, all functions other than loading has locked up the last received email was a local government one. so I'm using my PC to send this. Any ideas how to unfreeze this account? Safari and all other apps seem to be working OK.

You may not have done anything but glitches happen when systems are old and if you are still on 10.3 perhaps it's time to update or upgrade a few notches. Or are you on a different OS to your profile?

When i use a clipping mask, my photo loses contrast. Any idea why?

I have one photo in a book that is driving me crazy. When I use my clipping mask, the photo inserts perfectly but loses its contrast and grays out terribly. I can't find any reason and it doesn't happen on any other photo using the same time of masks. Anyone have any ideas?

I can no longer send an email on my iPhone to more that one address at a time.

I have an older iPhone.
I can send an email to ONE address at a time from my gmail account address. Up until two months ago I was able to send emails from the iPhone to SEVERAL address at one time. The message I get is that the email address I am sending it to is not valid. When I click 'send anyway', it gives me the message "The mail server 'pop3.live.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into the Mail settings." And the iPhone sends the message to my Outbox. I try it several times but it won't go out until I delete all but one address.
Interestingly, when the email goes out to one person with a cc to me, then I can forward the cc message to more than one person.

Why are you using a Hotmail or Live Mail SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account?
This is likely the cause of the problem. Use Gmail's authenticated SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account.

Can no longer send/receive MMS from Non-iPhones

Just recently (after I updated my iPhone 4S to the iOS 7.0.4), I have been unable to send or receive MMS messages from anyone who does not have an iPhone. I've tried to restart my phone and reset my network settings (temporary fix - it'll let me send or receive maybe 1 MMS from non-iphone user immediately after restart and/or network settings reset and then it will stop working again). I have no issues sending/receiving through iMessage to iPhone users, but for non-iPhone users, it will say "Not Delivered." This issue is both on Wi-Fi and Cellular Data. Has anyone encountered this same issue --- AND found a solution???? I don't have the option to back-up my data (pics/videos, etc) and do a complete restor of my phone to factory settings - so any solutions not involving that would be greatly appreciated!!

Does everything else work on your cell phone (calls and data)? Are you using the text message application that came on the phone or a 3rd party application from the Play Store? Can no longer send/receive texts on my new phone

New Moto e phone and service bought two days ago. Everything was working fine. Went into Verizon account and checked that we did not want to receive premium texts ($0 cost). My phone will no longer send or receive any text messages. When we go into Verizon account premium text option no longer shown so there is no way to undo this. Help, I use texts for work!!!
