Agent Desktop can not be logging

I have this problem:
After placing the credentials of the agent and passes connecting to the Cisco UCCX, get the error message: There has timed out the request for connection to Cisco UCCX application server, verify that the system is online and try to new.

Are you AD integrated?  Do you have more than one AD server listed for Authentication?  Can you log into AppAdmin?
Sometimes what can happen is that: Your primary  AD server is not responding in time, so CUCM uses the secondary AD server as a backup.  However, CAD has a default timeout for login at 10 seconds, far too short to allow CUCM to try the secondary host.
If this sounds like what's happening to you, then you can manually increase the CAD timer by editing the following file on the Agent PC, and restarting CAD.
File
C:\program files\cisco\desktop\config\phonedev.cfg
Add Lines
[ReqTimeout]
Milliseconds=60000

    Resolution steps:

    (Note: The DNS Client is disabled at both DPM and agent server)

    Hello,
    The servers are pingable and there is no local firewall. The servers are communicating but some sync jobs are failing. The Sync set to every 45 min.

  • New Laptop, windows 8, can not get logged into iTunes.

    Hi
    I have a new laptop with Windows 8. I've installed iTunes but can not get logged onto my account or home sharing etc. I keep getting a pop up message
    "We could not complete your iTunes Store request"
    "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"
    I've already unauthorized my old laptop to make way for the new one so it can't be that.
    My iTunes libary is stored on an external harddrive and even though I chnaged to location folder in the iTunes settings it's still not picking up any of that either.
    Any suggestions before I launch the whole lot out the window??

    Try the following:
    If you see a message that your computer can’t connect to the iTunes Store, click another item (Podcasts, for example) and click iTunes Store again.   • I deleted the "desktop" in tiger, can't "alias", "copy" or "drag & drop" anything to it now, I get a message that "desktop can not be changed"

    I was trying to make an alias of "SAFARI" icon to have on the desktop & in the dock as well, I managed to make the safari icon appear on the desktop, but when I wanted to switch from firefox to safari it wouldn't open / start safari, so OK, no big deal, I moved it the trash, ( by rt. click,>move to trash>click ) the horror starts here, everything on the desktop disappeared into the trash !!!!! ......
      So I have tried to "drag & drop", "alias", "copy", "duplicate" to get things back out of the trash, but every attempt is met with a message "the desktop con not be changed",   and whatever I try to bring anything out of the trash window, it gets a "minus - sign" added to it when it crosses over the edge of the trash window, and of course it jumps right back into the trash when the mouse button is released.
    I think (barely) I will need the do a "clean install", or a "restore" from the install DVD to restore / get the desktop back.
    And while the only thing on the desktop now is the HDD icon, clicking it open does not show the desktop in the Lf. column of the window where it should be, or any OS X folders when clicking on anything, but the OS is is running for this post and yahoo, etc., and there is a upward facing arrow next to the "network" name in the left column, that doesn't go away, like after installing some software, this is weird !!

    this is happening on my back-up machine, a G4 400mhz PCI, OS X TIGER 10.4.11 & 9.2.2 in classic ( all the 9.2.2 stuff does still show in the hdd when clicked )

    to safari it wouldn't open / start safari, so OK, no big deal, I moved it the trash, ( by rt. click,>move to trash>click ) the horror starts here, everything on the desktop disappeared into the trash !!!!!

    What did you do?  This looks like a terminal command.
    Or, did you click on the safari icon then right click on the safari icon then click on open? 
    I do not understand how you that moving to the trash would be helpful.
    I suspect disk corruptions.
    I run disk utility verify the file system on your starup disk.  See below.

    This article  will tell you how to get to disk utility.  Once in a disk utility, you can go and attempt to recover the disk.

    How to run disk utility from your startup DVD.
    Insert your  startup DVD  into your reader.  Power down your machine.  Hold down to the c key.  Power on your machine.  This will bootup your startup DVD.
    This will bring you to a panel asking you for your language.  Pick your language.
    You you come to the Install Mac OS panel.  Do not install.
    Click on Utilities menu item.  This will give you a pulldown list of utilities.
    Click on the disk utility.
    You are now in disk utility.  Pick your disk.  Click on repair it should be on the lower right of the panel.
    Once the repair completes successfully, you should update your permissions.
    Verify a disk
    As an alternative, you can verify that the filesystem on the disk is correct. You will not be able to repair the file system.
    I suggest that you use disk utility to verify that your startup disk is OK.  Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility  Start up disk utility.  On the left pane view, you will see a list of all your disks.   click on your startup disk.  Click on the First Aid  Tab.  Click on verify.   Hopefully your disk will verify.  If not, you have to boot from your installation DVD and run Disk First Aid from there to attempt to repair your file-system.

  • Connection between PDA and desktop can not be established

    I recently got the Palm T/X.  I was able to upload the programs I needed, but now I can not establish a connection between the PDA and the computer.  I even bought another USB hotsync cable thinking my original cable was faulty.  Still no luck.  I have noticed that the cable itself seems easy to plug into the PDA but I have to physically struggle to disconnect it from the PDA.  Any idea what the problem could be?  Thanks for any help.

    The hotsync manager icon is there but it will not open.  Tried to open it manually without success.  I did get to the Palm InstallShield which said it would have to erase everything on the PDA to reconfigure the hotsync setup.  Not willing to take that risk as I have some expensive medical software on there now.  I have tried all 3 USB ports on my computer.  Any other suggestions will be much appreciated.  I simply want to HotSync!

  • Desktop can not see all images in aperture project

    When trying to change the background picture desktop lists my aperture projects but only displays a subset (5 of 114) of the images in one project. Also have 2 of 8, 152 of 152, and 0 of 12 in different projects.

    It's possible you don't have Previews for the "missing" images (Aperture shares the Preview, not the full image).
    What happens if you update every image in the Project's Preview?

    In the Library inspector, Control-click the project whose JPEG previews you want to update, then choose Update Previews from the shortcut menu.

  • Agent Desktop vs One-Button Logon - UCCX 7.0

    Hello, I'm new to the forum.  I'm working with Customer Service supervisors who are asking what is the difference between an agent being logged in using the Agent Desktop vs the One-Button login on the phone.  I have done some research online, but can't find the answer to this question.  I realize the agent can't see the reporting functions, but we're not concerned about that.  They are there to answer calls, not check their stats.  Thanks for any help on this.

    IP Phone Agent (whether set up as one button login or not) will allow you to have an agent without having to install software on a PC.  The downside is that it's a little clunkier to use.  Sometimes you have to hit several buttons on the phone to do things like transfer a call. 
    The agent desktop moves this to an interface that gives you something a bit easier to navigate.  Also, it provides a much easier way for you to display additional information to the agent that may be relavent to the call.  The script can populate custom information based on caller input, caller ANI, DNIS, etc.  do database dips, and pop that info onto the screen.  Also the agent desktop can drive actions to other programs (opening screens, navigating to preconfigured web pages and populating data, etc.). 
    Both work and work well.  You would have to examine your needs to determine if one is more appropriate than the other.

  • Chat can not send because of the file size?

    Using Cisco Call Center system and cisco agent program. The problem is:
    Agent(s) can not chat! The basic solution is: Delete the txt file(s) writings in C:\Programfiles\Cisco\Desktop\Log\Transections\Friday.txt
    and then agent(s) can chat again.
    I saw the file:
    C:\Programfiles\Cisco\Desktop\config\Agent.cfg
    Size=3000000
    is the size log file size or something else?

    What do the CTIOS Agent desktop logs show? Usually you'd need to fill in both CTIOS Server Side A and B host-names/ip-address and ports while installing the agent desktop (same hostnames/ports if it is Simplex) .
    If it shows offline it usually means the desktop is unable to reach the server. You can also check to see if there is anything on the PC blocking the packets to the CTIOS server usually antivirus, firewall etc.

  • Firefox sometime can find specific server then at other times it can not. Also when on a web site and you attempt to go to anotherpage on the site, it lock up or can not find the page.

    Firefox cannot find a server that it has gone to easily in the past. Also it will lock up or can not find a page with in a web site ie like with FoxNews and you want to read and article. Firefox cannot find it. Sometimes I can not even log on to FireFox.

    However I need the lower case version for some sites and the upper case version for the site in question? To make matters worse this site does not allow you to change your log on name unless it is in the form of an e-mail address
    So what I need is Kostas for this site and kostas saved for other sites and allow me to choose which one I want to use
    How do I do this please
    I have no bother with this on Win Internet Explorer but I like Firefox
    Mind it may be as simple as deleting The appropriate entry and resetting with Kostas instead of kostas?

    I had the same problem, but corrected it by using Firefox.
    I found out you will not get the error if you use Firefox. Everything works as it should.
    It had to be Internet Explorer causing my problem.  UrGramps

  • Can no longer log on to a DC due to broken trust. Need a fix please

    I have a Windows 2012R2 DC that will no longer allow me to log on locally, or at all.  I have tried to re-create the trust using test-computersecurechannel - server servername -repair -verbose and all I get is false.  I have tried netdom reset and that gets me interface is unknown.  Of course it being a DC I can not just log in as local admin to just demote it and re-promote it.  Any ideas.  I have never had a DC lose its trust with the rest of the DC's.
