Alarm date is ignored - 6280 (v3.81)

Hi, I got my 6280 yesterday and have noticed a bug in the calendar. When I enter a birthday and set an alarm for it with an earlier date, eg. 7 days before the birthday, and save, when I go back and look at the entry I notice that the alarm date has been ignored and it reverts back to the actual date of the birthday. eg. birthday is 10th June, set alarm date to 3rd June, and save. Go back into calendar entry and the alarm date is saved as 10th June. This is not how it worked on my previous Nokia model. Anyone else have this problem and know of a way to get the bug fixed? Just tried that on my 6280, v3.81 and it also does it. So does look like it's a bug... Have to wait for new firmware I suppose. Not that that is guaranteed to fix it, and you won't know until you get it, as they won't say what's fixed in each firmware.

InfoPackage Data Selection ignored

I have a weird issue that I hope someone can advise me on. I have created an identical generic datasource based on table USR02 in our CRM, R/3 and BW systems. Then in BW I have 3 InfoPackages (one for each datasource) with identical data selections. For the InfoPackages using the CRM and R/3 datasources I get exactly the records I expect but for the BW InfoPackage I get all records irrespective of the data selections!?
Why are the data selections ignored for the InfoPackage using the BW source system - any ideas?

Finally found the problem. Basically the datasource in BW had the 'Field only known in customer exit' checkbox checked for the TRDAT field. I hadn't set this - the system did and would not allow be to change it. However I found SAP note 895801DataSource fields are interpreted as customer fields which seemed to suggest that this was the real problem.
I applied the note and re-created the datasource and it now work as expected.

Submit by Email data is ignored

I have entered mailto and subject data in the object pallete of my form. When I preview, it works perfectly. However, when I distribute using Acrobat XI pro, that data is ignored and the default is filled in when a client submits the form.
Is there anyway to get the button to behave properly after distribution?
I've created the form with Livecycle ES3.

It seems to work when .pdfs are opened within the browser window, but if I send his form as an attachment, I'm not sure it will work. It won't work if I open it in Acrobat on my PC. Not sure what to make of it.

Most likely there is something wrong with your specific database or your LabVIEW DSC installation. I just used the Alarm & Event Query.vi in my machine and it seems to work fine, I can see all the alarms as well as events containned in the database.
You may considerer generate another database (change the logging directory) and see if the behavior goes away. Also, make sure you have alarms and events on that database.
I could run the Alarm & Query.vi by just openning its front panel and placing the correct database in the appropriated control.

Syntax for datapump import utility (If data exists ignore table.)

I am trying to import 2 DMP files of the same schema with different data in the tables. The first one has half the tables filled with data from one subject area and the other dmp files has data from another subject area. Is there a syntax in the import utility which if data exists in a table ignore or skip it?

But it let the Table as is. If a Table is empty it will stay empty.

E66 - set calendar alarm date and time

Hi,
in previous phone - E60, a was able to set both date&time for calendar alarm.
In E66 I can only set value from limited list - 0-30 min, 1-8, 12 hours, 1-2 days, one week. But for older events, which I've moved from e60, two fields are displayed when editing - time and date.
How can I set both time and date for new calendar alarm?

Copying the data and ignoring the Script logic

I have some data in Actual category for 2010.APR and I would like to COPY the same
(through DM) to Budget category with my default script logic file. When I am trying to
Do the same it is copying the same data into Budget category, ignoring my script logic
Actually it should increase the value.
Can anybody help me in this regard.

The problem it is into script logic.
When you insert records you are inserting records with category Budget.
But your default script logic is inserting new recotrds just in case if the input has category Actual.
So you just to do a correction into your script logic to change the statement
*WHEN CATEGORY
*IS "ACTUAL"
with
*WHEN CATEGORY
*IS "BUDGET"
In this way the default script logic will be executed and after the copy you will have also the records generated by script logic.

Is there an alarm data member for when an alarm reseets?

I created a spreadsheet to track alarms, but I can only show when the alarm activates. I need the ability to show when an alarm becomes active, when the alarm is acknowledged, and when the alarm resets. I have tried the alarm unacked data member, but that only shows how many alarms have not been acknowledged, it is not per alarm message.

IPhone "erase data" request ignored

My iPhone got stolen and went offline. I went and ordered an "Erase Data" request through iCloud, and it said that it'll get deleted as soon as the device is online.
iPhone did not have a pass code...
I also initiated "sign out of all sessions" through gmail, so that it won't be possible to read my mail and reset iCloud password...
So the next day I get an email that my iCloud password was reset. The thief disabled FindMyIphone by following the reset password link for iCloud. Through gmail account logs, I saw that he entered my email using the regular Mail app which DID NOT sign out same as all other google account sessions...
I don't get it. How is it even possible that the iphone didn't get erased and the thief simply used it regularly without issues - checking Mail, etc ? Is it because of no pass code ? Or is there some bypasses to basically ignore/cancel the erase request ?

Not sure what you mean by that, but again, unless you changed your mail password, they could still have accessed it.
They probably cancelled the request by signing out of iCloud, which they can do since they now know your password. If they sent the password reset request before you sent the remote wipe request, they would be able to get online to read the mail and it wouldn't be wiped.

Now, it works correctly, and in the CT_TEMP_H1 table I can find all the information about changes that occourr in the TEMP_H1 table
What I'd like to know is if there is a way to avoid the capture "trigger" to fire in the event of DELETE records: due to the application business logic, I'm interested just in insert and updates on the source table, and I don't mind about delete(s), so I don't want them to consume resources (both disk space and CPU) on the server.
Is there a supported way to do so?

But the CAPTURE_VALUES parameter only manages the UPDATE issues, to have one row containing the row values before the update occurred and another row containing the row values after the update occurred.
What I'm interested in is aviod logging in the change table all the delete operations occourring in the source tables (a sort of "afert indert or update" trigger, instead of the "insert, update or delete"...)
Any hint?

Trying to restore backup data from a 6280 to an N7...

Guys please help, I'm so gutted about this. My 6280 is damaged & I have no screen, so haven't been able to read any text messages for the past two weeks. However I've constantly backed all these up via PC Suite & have the copier files on my system. But when I try to locate these via the backup application within Suite, with my N73 connected, it doesn't show?! What'd I do?

Date Format ignored after disconnect/reconnect

I don't know if anybody else gets this, or if it has already been posted, but I didn't see anything from my quick search...
I'm connecting to a database that is shut down for a scheduled backup. When it becomes available, I "reconnect" sql developer by reselecting the connection from the drop down box at the top of the worksheet toolbar. From that point forward, dates in query results will show up in 'dd-mon-yy', even though I have my format set to 'mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss'. It doesn't correct itself until i restart SQL developer.
I'm using SQL Developer Version 1.5.0.52, Build MAIN-52.03 on an XP Machine with jdk1.5.0_12.

There were issues with Preferences being saved in the early Adopter releases. Have you switched to 1.5 production yet?

If you look at the properties for the date fields in the new folder the format mask is 'DD-MON-YYYY' regardless of what NLS_LANG is defined in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE.
we've currently got it set to English_France.WE8ISO8859P1 expecting dd/mm/yyyy. (also tried creating an NLS_DATE_FORMAT key under the same registry path).
The workaround at mo is to change the properties of each date field manually - very time consuming and prone to human error! Any suggestions?

Erase all data or ignore?

Hi all.
I'v arranged a repair with apple for my iPhone 4 (its on its last few days of warranty).
However I am unsure about the instructions they give.
They say if possible to delete all the content off your iPhone.
My phone has many problems (cant hear anything when making/receiving calls, home key unresponsive, vibrates randomly for hours & freezes etc). I'm afraid to turn the phone on & erase all the data incase I do more damage & apple use it as an excuse not to fix the iPhone!! (my contents are backed up from previous syncing).
What should I do?

Will I do any software damage by doing this??
The reason I dont want to turn on the phone is because, it vibrated for over 3 hrs & then turned off, I have not switched it on since.
I'm afraid if I switch it on it will do more damage than good.
