In fact, I've been...waiting...well hoping anyway, that they would add bookmarks since the first release...
...It seems SO obvious!!!
Well, I finally went to the "feedback" page to suggest it, except...they supposedly don't take unsolicited ideas!?! Anyway, since it's a silly little feature that's HARDLY original, I'm hoping it will find its way to the correct code writer and maybe get some consideration...we'll see...
A bit off-topic, but I separately sent "feedback" suggesting they provide drag-n-drop transfer of video/movies into iTunes just as it does with music. I am still trying to find a 3rd party conversion program to "commit" to, but with Apple's ever-changing, if improved, video formats and aspect ratios, it's impossible for the 3rd party developers to keep their own solutions "simple" and up-to-date. As I said, it's "off-topic", but maybe we'll see if that goes anywhere as an indicator for the "bookmarks" issue.
BTW, Anyone reading this should not hesitate to provide similar feedback if they agree with either suggestion or have their own. Use the "Provide iTunes Feedback" option in the iTunes menu. Please be concise with your thoughts because I believe they'll blow by any long-winded notes (like this one, for example). This is one case where I truly believe there are strength in numbers.

I downloaded an album on my iTunes on my Mac but some of the songs won't play all the way through. It is almost as if it didn't download the entire songs. How can I fix this?

I downloaded the Mumfor & Sons album in my iTunes store. All the songs are there but in a handful of the songs, they cut off at the end of them. It is almost as if the last 30 seconds or so were never downloaded. I tried to check for things that were not downloaded yet and it says that everything is downloaded. I have no idea howt o get the rest of the songs to play.

If just some of the tracks on the album are doing that, that suggests those tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

I've always wanted to obtain and have perfect resolutioned cover art for my albums. I have been and downloaded albums from the iTunes store, and they come with really great cover art. How can I get cover art as precise and clean as the albums have on ther

My problem mainly concerns cover art.
There have been times when I downloaded albums from the iTunes store to find its cover art it is absolutely beautiful, and is absolutely 100% un stretched. Whereas when I have gotten images for a specific album from Google Images it's terribly pixelated and totally disgusting.
Is there a way for me to obtain cover art for my albums that is has clarity equal to the cover art on the iTunes store albums.
Or will it basically boil down to I can only get that cover art by downloading my albums off the store?

I brought an album from the iTunes Store, edited it, and put it onto my iPhone, but the only thing is, is that the featuring artists on the song are not showing, only the album artist, ive tried wipping my phone but no changes still, help me please

Basically I brought a album of the iTunes Store, Depzman - 2 Real, specifically, edited the album features, such as, artists and put the featuring artists, which before I edited it was placed in brackets at the end of the song title like most iTunes songs, but when i put it on my iPhone which is on manually handle music and videos, the artist which i removed from the song title do not appear, only the album artists, I have reset my iPhone completely using the delete all settings and content in the hope of it being the iPhones fault and it has not changed, urgh, what a waste of time / effort, now I have now gotten to the point of fed up cos I feel like I've tried everything, ive re-downloded them and done it all again, still nothing, so now I'm puzzled and don't understand why it wont appear the same on my iPhone as it does in my iTunes library, please can someone help me solve this pain in the ***, I'm OCD when it comes to music and if it doesn't appear the way it should i get annoyed / frustrated -.-

This is frustrating because I cannot add to those albums from mobile device, I have to add to them during a Mac sync. I would like to be able to use my iCloud albums to organize my photos but if I cannot access them from apps it seems pointless. I will end up having to maintain both an iCloud library and a separate iPhoto library which is more work that seems necessary. I want everything easy to organize and access. It seems like in this age where most people are more likely to use their mobile devices than their Macs (and some do not even own Macs) that there should be a mobile solution. Hopefully I am simply without a clue and you folks can help me out with a fix or a source of info as a solution. I have not found answers yet.

If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then it should show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - that it where you can redownload items (as long as they remain in the store).

How to add one song to iphone from an album burn onto itunes from a cd

I have been trying for some time now to add an album from my Itunes onto my iphone. the album is not bought from itunes store but burn from a disk I own.
I have tried to add it by making a new playlist and syncing it, and I have tried to add it 'manually' after clicking on 'manually manage music etc'.
both times instead of just adding the music I have selected, it begins to 'back up' my iphone and sync on songs I have deleted ages ago!!! and APPS I have deleted ages ago! its very frustrating.Its as if it completely ignores my request and does whatever it wants.... I have followed the instructions on the apple help website but it does not work. can anyone help?? am I missing something?

The music sync is ONE WAY - computer to iphone. The ONLY exception is itunes purchases.
You would have to use a third party program, not supported by Apple, if you wanted to do this.

The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format. Most Android phones can play AACs. Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices. You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.

So we all have a free U2 album in our iTunes library now. I don't like U2 and don't want it. I get an option to 'hide' it in iTunes, but not to delete it. How can I remove it entirely from my library in iCloud? I have just been to iCloud.com, but can't see anything there.

On any iOS device go to Settings > Music and turn off Show All Music. This should turn off cloud items. You may sometimes need to reset the device.
Swipe to delete the tracks if they were automatically downloaded to the phone.

Can I use multiple Album Artworks in iTunes?

Hi everyone.
So I have a 5 disc Album in my iTunes library. & I have artwork for each disc & then the album itself. I'd like to be able to use the artwork for each disc, so that every track has the corresponding artwork for the disc that its from. But I'd also like to use the main album art, so I can see it when browsing through my albums. But I can't find a way to do this.
I already know how to give each disc in one album its individual artwork, I've already done that. But I can't find a way to use the main album art just as a cover for the album, without it replacing every tracks album art.
Is this possible, at all? Thank you!

You can give track 1 of the first disc the main album artwork. That should show when you play track 1 at top of the screen and when browsing albums. All other tracks would then show the individual disc art at the top when played or in the mini-player with the artwork panel showing.
FWIW you can embed multiple images in each track but iTunes doesn't have a way to show them automatically.

I don't see your screenshot but I assume you're starting with something like this, i.e., the compilation split into multiple albums:
If you select all the items that you want to be in a single album, right-click > Get Info you'll see this:
As you say, in iTunes 12 you don't see a field to enter a distinct Album Artist value. You can, however, address this by clicking the Add Field button and selecting Album Artist:
That makes the field available in the metadata dialog so that you can enter the required value:
You can also show the pre-iTunes 12 version of the dialog by holding the SHIFT key when selecting Get Info - this allows you to enter the Album Artist directly:
