Album removed from Spotify's selection

The album "Holy Wood" by Marilyn Manson was removed from Spotify completely. I am trying to find out why. Is it temporary, or permanent. If so, why? I mainly signed up for spotify because of Marilyn Manson, so I need to know so I can decide whether to cancel my subscription or not. Thanks

Spotify wants all the world's music, and they're working hard on making this happen for you. However sometimes agreements can't be reached with the artist or label or a change may happen in music ownership. Sometimes the music is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others. Sometimes the album or song will be unavailable temporary, and come back again later.
Spotify adds thousands of albums and artists are added every day. If you can't find an artist you're looking for, they may appear (or reappear if removed) soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact the artist or their label to ask when they plan to be on Spotify.

Lil' Chris removed from spotify

Not many months ago the artist Lil' Chis sadly passed away, i remember listening to his stuff as i grew up at one stage, anyway he has an artist page on spotigy but sadly some other artist with the exact same name seems to have taken his place here is the link to one of his albums just to prove his page still exist:https://play.spotify.com/album/7c0fSbdHglO0116Fps5LDs but when you search for it, he doesnt show up, and also none of his music is playable or downloadable whether this is a result of his death im not sure but i know, id like to be able to have his content on my spotify, if anyone knows anything about this being a bug cos of this other artist or whether its most likely to do with his death please get back to me any answers would be much appreciated. HT201272 Eminem Album Removed from UK Store

As far as I can make out 'The Slim Shady LP' (Explicit version) was removed from the UK iTunes Store. It just so happens that I deleted it from my computer and iPod, so now I can't get it back. Am I entitled to a refund or what's the deal?

The deal is that it has always been your responsibility to maintain a backup copy of your music. If you fail to do so, then you are out of luck.
Icloud gives you the ability to redownload some itunes songs, if they are still available in the itunes store.

Albums removed from playlist

I added a playlist to my ipod touch with 143 songs. The playlist on the ipod is 100 songs. It removed albums and they only play under the album selection, not under playlist.

You can manually delete those playlists by selecting the playlist and options>delete.

How can I put selected pictures from camera roll into a seperate album removing them completly from camera roll??

Im gunna be straight up honest here.. I have some rude pictures of my girlfriend on my iphone which I would like to keep for my own personal viewing but obviously dont want family and friends seeing when they are flicking threw my camera album which often happens. I had intended to make a private album put them all in there and put a passcode on the album. With all of apples features I would of thought this would be a standard thing you could do, however when I made the private album the pictures were still in my camera roll and if I try to delete them I am told the pictures will be removed completly from my phone.. This is stupid. What is the point in being able to make albums if the pictures are going to still all be in the camera roll!? Does anybody know of a way I can move pictures from camera roll to a private album?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Photos placed in a user created album or in an existing album are not copied/duplicated. The photos placed in an album include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Camera Roll. Having an album for select photos is for viewing the select photos only without having to see all photos in the Camera Roll.
The same applies to albums transferred from your computer. All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. Photos on the albums below include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos appear as they are duplicated when they are not. This way you can view the photos in an album only by selecting the album, or all photos on the Photo Library or Camera Roll by selecting it.

Removing Album Art From Zen V P

This being my first portable media player I've been experimenting. I managed to add some album art for one album via Creative Media Explorer. I think the full screen picture is good but I don't like the miniature picture which seems the default on the Now Playing Screen. It pushes too much text off-screen. I guess there's no way to remove the mini-picture and just retain the possibility of keeping the full screen picture. Also, I can't find a way to remove the album art. Media Explorer doesn't seem to offer this option. How can I get rid of the Album Art. Do I have to delete the whole album from the player and reimport it's

There's no way that I know of to remove album art from files on your player, but one of the easiest ways to remove art from files on your pc is to use Album Cover Art Downloader. You can have it located a folder and then select all and removae album art from all your files. Then you can re-transfer them back to the player.

Aperture 2 Frustration 27 "Remove From Album" disabled

I created an album of selected images. I want to remove some of the images. I select a few and try Images > Remove From Album. The option is disabled. Why? It's not a Smart Album.

I selected several images from the result of search criteria. Most of them are stacked images. I only want one of each stacked image in my album, which sounds like a reasonable thing to do, but all images are copied into the album.
Then I tried removing the unwanted images from the album, but if they're stacked, the "Remove from Album" option is greyed-out.
It doesn't seem to represent how one would do things with a real "album". I may have a "stack" of photographs, held together with a rubber band. I can easily slip a selected photograph out from the stack and stick it in the album - shouldn't that be how Aperture works?
Also:
When creating a book, you can set an option to "include stack picks only". For example, if you wanted to create two books, one of colour photos and one of black and white Versions of the same photos, this "include stack picks only" is not very helpful as you'd have to change the stack pick for each of the books, or choose to see all the photographs without the option to "include stack picks only".
This all doesn't seem intuitive at all - am I missing something fundamental?

Removing unused photo albums synched from previous iPhone

When I got my iPhone 5, I synched it with information from my iPhone 4 from files on my PC. In doing so it put two photo albums I no longer use or want. I need to know how to get rid of those two photo albums. Since they were not created on the iPhone, I cannot delete them from the iPhone itselt. I see no way to get rid of them either thru iTunes synch or manual deletion from iPhone using the PC's file manager when iPhone is attached to computer. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Photos transferred from your computer is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and removed from the iPhone the same way.
To remove all, deselect Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync.

The removed photo albums in iWeb are not removed from my website.

I have removed a few photo albums from my web site in iWeb and added none. When uploading the changes to my website it still shows all the albums only the links of the removed albums are not valid any more.
How can I get the albums completely removed from my site via iWeb?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You are hosting your site on a MobileMe account, correct?
Try publishing the entire site with the File ➙ Publish Entire Site menu. If that doesn't clear out the old stuff from your web site try the following:
1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - reboot.
5 - launch iWeb and and try again.
Still if not cleared out publish the site to a folder on your hard drive and open the local copy with your browser to see if that shows the changes to the site.

Can't remove album rating from an album

For some reason I can't remove the album rating from one of my albums in iTunes 7.6. I can change the rating, but if I swipe the cursor all the way to the left (which removes all stars on other albums) I get weird, hollow stars that then revert to a four-star rating when I play a file.

That was it. One song had a rating (probably dues to a random mouse error lol - I usually don't rate songs).

Junk mail filter in yosemite doesn't work. i can't find the 'mark as junk' selection or 'remove from previous recipients' which would help to filter out spam.

Formerly clicking on the email address in question would allow one to 'remove from previous recipients' which would help to filter out spam. I've adjusted all the settings under mail preferences, but that is not helping.

When Safari launches, tap in the address field (the one on the left) and type "www.google.com" then hit the "Go" button.
After the page finishes loading, hit the "Action" button (the middle button on the bottom button bar that looks like an arrow coming out of a rectangle) and select "Add to Bookmarks" to add the Google page to your bookmarks.
After that, you can hit the Bookmarks button (the button that looks like an open book in the bottom button bar) to access the Google bookmark you just created.

Images removed from Albums

Browsing through some old projects, I came accross one in which 12 out of 13 albums are mysteriously empty. The masters are still there in the project but they have been removed from the albums into which they were imported. Is this something that the 'Rebuild Library' function (Command+Option on relaunch) should fix?

That's a good tip! That issue did actually cause me some confusion when I was doing a date search for the images to replace them in the albums. However I don't think it was the cause of the original problem. The grey figure in brackets in the projects panel showing the number of images in each album was zero. I've just tried looking at my rebuilt albums with a filter on the search criteria and yes, the images are no longer visible in the browser. However the figure in brackets remains the same.

Removing album art from X-fi2

Hi,
Anyone know how to remove album art from the X-fi2? I've got a lot of wrongly-associated art and I'd like to delete it: there isn't any art for the tracks I want to change.
I've tried Centrale, but the art does not show up in either album or artists listings--just the generic album icon. Nor can I get it under the tag editing properties: just the generic icon again. The "change" option is available in both cases, but "remove" is greyed out.
I can see the art using WMP, but that doesn't seem to have an option for removing it.

!Album art can be either embedded on audio files or stored on a jpeg file on the same directory where music files reside. Never used Creative Centrale, but it is logical to me thinking that a greyed out "remove button" means that the art is not embedded as it cannot be removed from the audio files. I would suggest looking for a *.jpg file that contains the album art and remove or rename it.

When importing, de-select images I want removed from disk. After import they are still there?

When I take all the raw images from my card and put in a new folder on my desktop. I then move folder to my pictures folder on a MAC/lightroom 4.Then open up LR and select onlyy images I am interested in and (remove from disk) ones I don't want. Then import to lightroon, for some reason they are still in folder in pictures?

It is not very clear what you are exactly doing.
Did you import them all and want to delete after importing , then :
The choice you get is:
Remove ( from Lightroom) and
Delete from Disk, it is only the latter that will delete them from your disk.
During import you can not delete not selected files.
