Alert Problem. Pls advice

Hi Aall,
I have made one alert Category.
Initially Wwhen I do not check -- Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule every time I was getting alert.
But as I want one alert I check that box I am not getting any alert.
Pls advice urgent

To send email to mail box automatically when alert occurs in XI
Can you check whether the below authorization is given to that user.
For the sending of alerts via external communication methods (e-mail, sms, fax) and for inbound processing, an RFC user has to be created on the central alert server with the role SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER. The authorization objects contained in this role are S_OC_SEND and S_RFC.

check in ALRTCATDEF transaction what is the user maintained under the fixed receipent tab for that user check the email address in SU01 transaction.
Please check in transaction SCOT (you can give address of your SMTP server in order to send mails),
If it is configured then probably you need to personalized alert delivery. In alert inbox you can select personalized alert delivery and check for "Mail" option.
In SCOT you can see how many mails have beed sent via your XI system.
most of the time email problem is solved by correcting configuration in SCOT. For testing mail system click on System->short message and then send one message to yourself

In we02 I found that 1 daybook had 5 idocs. after checked in st22, I found the abap runtime error message that "short dump has not been completely stored.Its too big". It seems the sap system could not read the total amount field in the transaction. My question is : how to correct this double posting transactions? It only from journal manually or there aare ny other alternative solution?

WebService Receiver Problem. Pls advice urgent.

Hi All,
I have R/3 (RFC) -- XI -- R/3(WebService) Scenario.
Now when I test my WebService in R/3 using wsadmin command it works fine.
But If I import my webservice as wsdl file and use it in Soap Receicer Adapter and use XI I get error:

Order by taking too much time. Tried using all_rows hints no use.Pls advice

I run the query without order by and finishes in less than 30 sec. Once you have order by,query just hangs. Pls advice. Thanks.

If you put the \ tag (6 characters, all lower case) around the text where you want to preserve the formatting, the query plans you post are going to be much more readable.
The optimizer's estimates appear to be correct and the plan is the same other than the ORDER BY. I would, therefore, be highly inclined to believe as I was discussing earlier that the "30 seconds" figure that you're discussing is the time to fetch the first few rows, not the time to fetch the last row.
Can you define "hang"? How long do you let the query run before killing it? Minutes? Hours? Days?
What are the wait events associated with the query when it is running? If the optimizer is correct that you're generating 5.4 million rows and a little over a GB of data that needs to be sorted, that should be expensive but that shouldn't take hours.
What is the business problem you're trying to solve? Sorting implies that you are trying to return results from a report to a user. But, obviously, no user is ever going to page through 5.4 million rows of results.

HTTP Synchronous Scenario. Pls advice urgent

My scenario
System A -- XI --- System B
This is Synchronous HTTP scenario.
I tested in XI RWB.
a. I took Message Mapping Source xml structure and sent from RWB it worked fine.
b. I took xsd of Request Data Type and sent from RWB it shows error
"MAPPING">EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE"
Now In real scenario System A will send data to XI.
So does it mean that I need to send Message Mapping Source xml structure to System A and not xsd of Request Data Type

Check the message status in SXMB_MONI and let me know the trace and error message.
the below message shows that there is some problem in mapping, u have not done the correct mapping between source and target.

test the message in message mapping using test tab and let me know the result.

DMS Document Distribution Problem Pls, Help Will be appreciated

When executing T-Code CVI8(Document Distribution), there is a system message that the order was successfully created. But when we looked at the distribution log using T-Code CVI9, the status of the document remains as SY and the processing of the distribution stops. We already finished the settings for document distribution and still this error persists. What could have been wrong? Pls advice.

i have checked the workflow config accordingly,
workflow templates 20000104 and 20000137. are active.
a. 20000104 BUS1082 x 2 (Initiated and Resend)
b. 20000137 BUS1082002 x 1 (Resend)
But the Release status for these templates is NOT DEFINED, should it be RELEASED & the container tab for 20000104 shows a warning icon(Mandatary import parameter)on partial order & intial value not set & same for 20000137 shows warning icon on distribution order package & initial value not set.
what does this mean, is there any setting required for this?
2. Transaction SWU3 ensure that all has been generated (activated). Pay special attention to Maintain Runtime Environment -> Configure RFC destination.
I HAVE checked the above all are active except Configure RFC destination, what is the setting required for the same.

My sender file name is auto generated number so
it is dynamic in nature.
ex. "abc1.txt"
     "abc2.txt"
Now In my Sender File Adapter I cannot give
File Name hard coded as my sender file name is auto generated number.
Also I want same file name received at receving end.
File Sender --   "abc1.txt"
File Receiver -- "abc1.txt"
File Sender --   "abc2.txt"
File Receiver -- "abc2.txt"
Pls advice.

All your sender files have .txt extension but the name is not constant(dynamic in nature).Than in this case to pick ur file u can use the *.txt as ur sender file name.Than all the files with .txt extension in the source folder specified would be picked.
Than u can proceed in the same way given in this blog

Hi Henry,
I understood your requirement.
But as per the architecture of XI/PI some message has to trigger your scenario.
In this case there is no adapter where you can directly communicate with CRM system.
Do one thing configure a dummy scenario on the sender side.
Use File adapter for simplicity. once it pools the file with some dummy data in the file it comes to Interface mapping(message mapping) of the PIPELINE steps. Now use the code as you mentioned above(within UDF) for opening socket to CRM system and implement you business logic within that program and write the response to target interface which will infact talk with CRM system.
Dont forget to do the coding in an infinite loop with some delay (if required). Other wise every time you have to put a message for File Adapter for triggering purposes.
You can also acheive the same if you use Java Mapping instead of Graphical mapping with UDF(code for Opening socket and business logic). I suggest you to use Java Mapping.
I dont know how you will comunicate with CRM system on receiver side.?

Urgent: Sessions problem pls help me

Its already late to post this problem.pls help me urgently.
I have a servlet & two jsp's. first i request servlet, it processes something and forwards request to my first jsp. In that jsp on a button click, i'm displaying a new popup by calling showModalDialog. this dialog gets data from the same servlet but it forwards to my second jsp.(second jsp can be seen in dialog)
Now if i submit form from my second(dialog) jsp, the servlet reports that session has expired. I tried a lot but invain. any one who helps me is appreciated well by all of our forum.

It could be that you have cookies turned off and you're not using URL Rewriting.
In J2EE, the first time your browser makes a request to the server, the server responds and appends a SESSION_ID parameter to the request as well as storing a cookie with the SESSION_ID.
The second time your browser makes a request, the server checks for the cookie. If it doesn't exist it checks for the parameter. If neither exist the server assumes its the first time your browser has made a request and behaves as describe in the previous paragraph.
In your case when you submit the form if you have disabled cookies and the action attribute doesn't have the SESSION_ID paramter appended to the url, the browser will assume it's a first request. The user will not be logged in, hence your session has expired error.
To fix this you need to encode the URL in your JSP. You can use the struts html:rewrite tag or the HttpServletReponse.encodeURL method, or if you're using JSP 2.0 the JSTL c:url tag.

Boot problem == pls HELP

I have use the utility disk and format the machintos drive , and use Extended (Journaled , Encrypted) , it ask me for a password (typed the password, confirmed the password - done) , after that i tried to install a fresh copy of Lion (i waited to be downloded from apple.com - done) after that it said that the fresh copy it will be installed and it will reboot by itself -> done ... from here the problem it's starting .... now my macbook air , it dosent start anymore it keep showming me, instaid of the apple sign from the start , a sign like the one from ghost busters (but without the ghost in it ) , i have tried to boot from cd , from usb , nothing dosent seams to be working.
If anyone know a solution to this problem, pls HELP! Thank you in advance...
p.s. before i had 2 hard drives that show up when i press the ALT button (machintos hd and utility drive, or something like that) now.. the only thing that it's showing me is : mac os base system , and if i try to use partition magic or something else, from a usb, it will tell me something about a bootguard , but i don't know how to insert the password.

Please advice any FM that takes excel sheet file from local drive and convert the data present in excel sheet into text tab delimited as the output.......My input file should be excell sheet only.......i will call gui upload to get the file.but later after uploading i need the output to be displayed in text tab delimited file...........
Note : Requirement is input file should be excel sheet only....i dnt want to convert the excel sheet as tab delimited file and thn upload......
