  • D2445 Problem - Won't Align, Please help! Read for details..

    Hello all,
    thanks ahead of time for any suggestions/help. We have a D2445 Printer here at our dealership that we use to print out pictures (our designated photo printer). It's worked great for the past few years, seeing use about once or twice a week.
    We usually only use the standard 22/21 cartridges, but there was an ink sale at office depot and we sprung for the Tri-Color photo cartridge. The printer has printed about 70 images with the tri-color cartridge and it finally gave out. We went to replace it with a black 21 and now it will not align to save my life. And everything that prints out is WAYY OFF. The crazy thing is, it was working fine literally minutes before we replaced the tri-coor cartridge. I've tried re-aligning numerous times, doing all levels of cartidge cleaning, unhooking the printer from the computer, unhooking the power from the printer, restarting the computer, re-seating the cartridges, everything except re-installing the drivers (which I dont think would be the issue). I'm tempted to go purchase another tri-color cartridge and see if that works, but it was printing fine for years with the 22/21 setup! And I was literally printing out perfect photos with the tri-color cartridge up until it ran out of ink, with less than 10 minutes between printing the last good photo with the tri-color cartridge and installing the 21 and having all of these issues.
    Has this printer finally met its match?
    Thanks,
    BR
    If anyone can please point me in the right direction that would be excellent. Thanks!

    You have three choices:
    1.Go to Apple or Firedog (in Circit City) and pay to retreive your data and restore your iPod
    2.If the computer can read the iPod, get Aimersoft iPod Copy Manager and save your data to a folder then open Explorer or whatever you use in Mac to save other files
    3.Get a new iPod....
    I hope this helps! azureVinh.webs.com

  • Tables off line/alignment-please help!

    I've been working on this problem for a week now and just
    can't seem to figure it out. I used a dw template and created a
    table with scrolling text in the middle cell. The site looks great
    in Firefox and Safari, but i've gotten feedback from people using
    IE that the tables are "off line." When I looked for myself, sure
    enough, the table seemed to be part of the preceeding paragraph,
    and off line, causing part of the table to appear off the page.
    What am I doing wrong?
    http://www.cyaasports.org/home.html

    Your menu is still broken. In Internet Explorer, go to the
    Advanced
    Internet Options, and enable the option to display a
    notification about
    every javascript error. Now try to use your page....
    You have deleted the javascript at the bottom of the page
    that is required
    to set up the menus. I'm not optimistic.
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var menuitem1 = new menu(7,1,"hidden");
    var menuitem2 = new menu(7,2,"hidden");
    var menuitem3 = new menu(7,3,"hidden");
    var menuitem4 = new menu(7,4,"hidden");
    var menuitem5 = new menu(7,5,"hidden");
    var menuitem6 = new menu(7,6,"hidden");
    var menuitem7 = new menu(7,7,"hidden");
    // -->
    </script>
    Without that, your menu cannot work at all, in addition to
    throwing the
    continuous js errors.
    What's blowing the page out, I believe, is this table -
    <table width="101%" height="312" border="1"
    cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
    bordercolor="1" summary="">
    Try dropping its width to something more reasonable.

  • Report alignment issues..please help

    Hi Experts,
    Can somebody help..
    I have following issues in reports:
    .I have a report which runs on web in both formats of PDF's and Excel
    Issues are
    1. In PDF formatl, all columns are being displayed but alignment is the issue.. Since our report should be A4 based. How to increase paper margins..because currently i am not able to drag that black thick coloured line further..? where to adjust and change report layout size..
    2. One more thing is that when i run the pdf report, it starts printing from left without leaving any gap(landscapre mode) and its leaving lots of space on the right.. How can i make equal of both left and right margins.
    3. When I am running excel report and its rnning fine saving in a xls.. but alignment is the issue...
    4.some of the values which are varchar2 data from database... displaying right and some are left aligned.... for example.. if its ABCD then its aligning properly to right. But if it is EFGHEIJK the its doing left alignment... there is no code written for conditional formatting..but what could be the issue.. since the values are direct from table in database..why this is happening
    5. and In excel there is a data column which i manipulated as for example to_char(to_date(20100217,'yyyymmmdd'),'dd-mm-yyyy') and this is coming properly in pdf but not excel..in excel its says something like17-02-10,, yYYY is being displayed only as 10... is there any workaround (not manual))
    6. And in reports, if we create a field and database column is source for it, i would like to know whether there is any option in property column of the field to set width of the filed..
    so that i can reduce of the width in layout to acommidate more column in the report. Because I really not knowing for 8 character database column, how much bigger field i have to create.....
    please help..
    thanks

  • HP 3540 e-all-in-one series. Missed a step during setup. Please help!

    Hi,
    I've just set up my HP 3540 e-all-in-one series, however I think I've missed a crucial step and I'm worried I've messed everything up. I printed the alignment page and on it, it says to scan the alignment page for best print quality. I somehow bypassed this step and I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Will it affect the printer or quality in any way?
    Please help!!

    Hello there! Welcome to the forums @panda411
    If there are any "alignment" issues you're noticing when you use your Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540, you can run the alignment manually to see if that corrects the issue.
    If there is no issue, I wouldn't suggest doing anything differently. What comes to mind is the saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it"!
    If you feel you need to align the printer, try this:
    source
    If there is anything else I can help with, just let me know!

  • PLEASE HELP - COLOR SHIFTING PROBLEM on output NTSC monitors

    http://www.smmlv.com/testproject/
    Above is a link to a layered photoshop file that has a USA map and over a dozen network overlays used in a section of our video. I animate each layer on sepeartely in the video and have noticed a major problem recently, the color of the art does not hold true to placement. I created the art originally in Illustrator and then converted the file to Photoshop at 640x480, 72dpi. This has always worked perfectly in the past to display and animated artwork in FCP.
    Right now, in FCP I am using the NTSC DV 3:2 frame size, and the compressor of DV/DVCPRO - NTSC. I have a JVC Profressional DV deck that hooks up through firewire and sends S-Video to my monitors. This setup has always given me a great picture even though it is not completely upcompressed. Using these settings and this art, the color lines on this map in red, light blue, yellow and purple all have a "color shift" to the left about 5 pixels. It makes it appear that the line is where it is in the file, but the color overlaying the line is offset to the left 5 pixels and transperant to about 50%. This occurs only when viewed on some TV's and NTSC monitors and projectors. The strange thing is, some monitors display the color aligned almost perfectly on these maps and other monitors and projectors show this "digital halo" of color shifting really bad. If I take the layered network overlays in these colors and color tint them to black or grey, white, light green, or even light orange, they no longer have the color shifting and the detail is perfect.
    Is there any way to fix this problem? I have tried duplicating the sequence and setting the compressor to 8bit Uncompressed, and while my captured footage is not this compression, in theory the art should render at this higher resolution setting. This did nothing to solve the problem.
    I also have tried using different Broadcast safe and Y/C corrector filters with different results. The Y/C filter allowed me to reposition the color problem and thus removing most of the problem, but also removing most of the color. Nothing else has allowed me to seemingly move the color into the proper possition.
    What is causing this color shift on the displayed NTSC image?
    In FCP 4.5 I can see my rendered video in the program viewer screen and besides the pixel compression appearing on the lines, overall the video looks great paused or even better when playing. Then you view it through my deck onto my Pro Sony NTSC 19" color monitor and it also appears great, with a slight color halo to the left of these colors, but the color in the lines are there. If you are a few feet from the screen and know what you are looking for you might see it, but doubtful. Then you view it using the same signal on a 17" Samsung TV and the color shifting makes the map and other art, like the clients blue logo, look horrible, with each color line appearing twice and offset left from each other as if you had double vision. Normally I would think it is the TV causing this, but then we tested this same movie on 2 differnt projectors. The $700 Epson projector displayed everything beautifully, again with only the slightest color halo to the left, but then the Panasonic $4000 projector made everthing in these colors look double vision again. What is going on???
    One more thing to keep in mind, my color bars also show this problem with these colors as well as shot footage of these facilities. There are tall red poles in the shots and everything displays fine except for the red pole color looks like it's glowing off the pole to the left.
    PLEASE tell me there is a solution to this.

    I have tried Degaussing, using filters, changing cables, and testing other monitors and systems on these monitors, everthing I can think of to solve the issue. Is it FCPo or is it the monitors?... or is it a signal strength thing. Can monitors and projectors shift color when the signal is read from a DVD or Mini DV Deck? Is there a fequency difference (Ie: 75mgz or 80 mgz) that might be causing the shift in some monitors and not so badly in others. But if this was true, how would some DVD's (like Baby Einstein DVDs that use really bright colors) display red and blue perfect using these same player and monitor, while my projects is shifting color? Doesn't that rule out the signal from the DVD player if other DVD's do not have this issue?
    I have uploaded the original art used, an exported .jpg file from the FCP timeline and sample photos of 2 different monitors to show to show this problem as best I can. http://www.smmlv.com/testproject/
    Someone out there must have had this problem before. There's no way a color shift problem like this with Mini DV has gone on this long without someone seeing it.
    One last thing about what I have tried... I do understand that with editing in Mini DV instead of uncompressed or HD video I lose a bit of resolution (4:2:2) and I see this compression occuring in some of the areas in the video where these problems persist. But, I did remake the art and rerender this project in an 8bit uncompressed settings and then displayed that up on the screen and I get the same color shift. I keep going in circles trying to find the culprit that is causing the delema.
    PLEASE HELP! There are large tours going through our facilities daily and the large screen projector is displaying this problem as well. Let's just hope they don't notice and that their TV's at home or office does not display it on our final DVD's made.

    Thank you !
    Hello, actionscript experts,
    Please, help me, if you have the time. The company that I am doing some flash design work for, bought a template, from templatemonster.com. The template ID that they purchased, is 20643. I usually work more on the design/creative side, but I know a little of simple actionscript. Although, I can not figure out why this is not working, after some simple modifications. I believe that it is an issue with the actionscript, somewhere, in the "pages2/sub_menu2" part or somewhere, in the "pages2/gall_main2" part, in the .fla file. I am 99.99% finished with this site and I would greatly appreciate any of your help, in any way, possible. This site is currently online, for you to view, at your earliest convenience.
    http://www.pbsjbuzz.tv/site_flash
    NOTE: (Additional Information):
    Sorry, about so much info!
    This template originally came with 4 main menus (PORTFOLIO / ABOUT US / OUR NEWS / CONTACT US).
    The PORTFOLIO section has 3 submenu links (INTERIOR / LANDSCAPE / ANIMALS).
    I changed the 3 submenu links from, (INTERIOR / LANDSCAPE / ANIMALS), to (AVIATION / EDUCATION / FEDERAL).
    Those work fine.
    Now, I have added 4 additional submenu links. (LEISURE SERVICES / SUSTAINABLE DESIGN / TRANSIT / ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING).
    So, I now have a total of 7 links, within the PORTFOLIO section, named (AVIATION / EDUCATION / FEDERAL / LEISURE SERVICES / SUSTAINABLE DESIGN / TRANSIT / ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING).
    My first 3 links work perfect, but the other (4-7) links are not working, correctly.
    They seem to link to the correct category, but do not load correct image, until you click on a thumbnail, then the big image loads, as it is supposed to do, but the thumbnails still have the wrong images loaded.
    I have checked every word for word of the actionscript, but I still can not figure this out.
    I believe that this is a simple solution, surely consisting of only 1 letter, word or sentence of code being wrong, somewhere, in the actionscript, within the flash (fla) file. I have the files, available to download, if anyone willing to help me needs them.
    Thank you, for all of your help.
    <!--
    My friend looked over the files and sent me this:
    _parent["item"+_root.main_gall_num].gotoAndPlay("s2");
    _root.main_gall_num = num;
    _parent.gall.play();
    Where are those "item1", "item2", defined?
    The functionality of the submenu is fine, but it seems the elements are missing. I tried changing a different "num", and it loaded that
    so i guess you are missing the element on the parent symbol.

    // frame number of the first content page
    firstPageFrame=1;
    //system settings
    #include "gs/dataTransfer/xmlFunctions.as"
    //_root.link=_root.getMenuSystemOrder(0);
    In the main .fla file, this actionscript, is on the third frame:
    import mx.transitions.Tween;
    import mx.transitions.easing.*;
    function pic_movs(my_x) {
    var name1:MovieClip = _root.pages.gall.gall.thumbs;
    myTween = new Tween(name1, "_x", Strong.easeInOut, name1._x, my_x, 25, false);
    When the "PORTFOLIO" page loads, this actionscript, is on the first frame:
    _root.main_gall_num=1;
    _root.gall_num=1;
    item1.gotoAndStop(15);
    Each "sub_menu" link (AVIATION / EDUCATION / FEDERAL / LEISURE SERVICES / SUSTAINABLE DESIGN / TRANSIT / ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING), has this actionscript, on each link, the only difference is the num = 1 (AVIATION), has num = 2 (EDUCATION), num = 3 (FEDERAL), etc, etc, through num = 7, for (ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING):
    onClipEvent (load) {
    num = 1;
    this.title1.gotoAndStop(num);
    this.title2.gotoAndStop(num);
    on (rollOver) {
    if (_root.main_gall_num<>num) {
    this.gotoAndPlay("s1");
    on (releaseOutside, rollOut) {
    if (_root.main_gall_num<>num) {
    this.gotoAndPlay(_totalframes-_currentframe);
    on (release) {
    if (_root.main_gall_num<>num and _root.gall_animation == 1) {
    _root.gall_animation = 0;
    _parent["item"+_root.main_gall_num].gotoAndPlay("s2");
    _root.main_gall_num = num;
    _parent.gall.play();
    In the section where the photos load, each frame has a different category of photos that loads on that frame.
    The actionscript, on frame 1, is:
    _root.gall_num=1;
    Then, frame 2 has:
    _root.gall_num=2;
    frame 3 has:
    _root.gall_num=3;
    frame 4 has:
    _root.gall_num=4;
    frame 5 has:
    _root.gall_num=5;
    frame 6 has:
    _root.gall_num=6;
    frame 7 has:
    _root.gall_num=7;
    I added all of the extra images, to the xml file.
    The original xml file came with only 3 categories, of images (12 small and 12 big, in each category).

    did u try something like that :
    for (var iii:uint=1; iii<5; iii++) {
    root["item"+iii].addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,
    mover1);
    root["item"+iii].addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT,
    itemOut1);
    root["item"+iii].addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER,
    itemOver1);
    root["item"+iii].buttonMode=true;
    }

I have no idea why, i am only a beginner and i am struggling with this. My assignment is due soon and i have not finished, I am feeling so stressed now i have resort to asking here. Please please help me, this means so much to me...i know its really messy i just need all my css to work. I'll 2nd Chris's comments about position:absolute.  It is definitely not needed for 98% of page layouts and in most cases should be avoided because it makes a complete mess of things.
    You also have quite a few coding errors which mucks things up in browsers.  While I'm not certain what all you're trying to do with those labels, But I think you can simplify things enormously by using a very basic CSS layout and simple jQuery Accordion panels.
    Copy & paste the following code into a new, blank document.  SaveAs test.html and preview in browsers.

  • Spry Menu rendering improperly in Firefox - PLEASE HELP

    Hello:
    I have searched the forums and the web and can't find the
    solution to the following problem.
    I have a vertical spray menu with flyouts (CS3). Works great
    in IE, in Firefox, the flyouts go to the far right of the page.
    They used to be OFF the page, but I fixed that, I just can't figure
    out the final fix.
    Can someone please help? TIA!

    Hi,
    You have made too many changes to the original stylesheet.
    Please have a look at my remarks here.
    I hope this helps.

  • Please help... I've come full circle

    Hello Everyone
    I've made a mountain out of a mole hill with this navigation bar.
    This is what I am trying to achieve
    fig 1
    I want the main level nav to consist of 4 different custom buttons with out any spacing or padding or margins. the nav bar is is a FLUID  layout.
    The image below was created in Fireworks and then I ran into so many problems with it I wanted to go back to a Spry menu set up
    fig 2
    fig 3
    I was able to get those images set up with the parameters I needed before I went off the deep end with the sub menu items and then everything fell apart and I messed up my CSS style .You can see the mess in the sub menu items
    This is the style sheet for fig 3

    The sub menus on this went completely wonky on me and I can't seem to figure out how to fix them.I've gone back through my css styles sheets to try and recreate it but to no avail.

    You will notice that I have not got the complete image for the first manu item. I suggest that you do that by combining the three images into one. Also it is advisable to make the images a GIF or better still a PNG file so that you can will have a transparent background rather that the background of the menu bar. This will allow the menu bar background to continue instead of being interupted by the button image.

    Try this without the border images and it will work in all browsers with increased text size. That's assuming eBay supports embedded CSS styles (which I'm not convinced they do).  Inline styles are safer IMHO.

  • Please help me with the problem of validator in struts

    sorry for my poor English
    i have a question which i can't deal with.
    i have a jsp page in which some client imformation can be modified.
    The modify page accepts the parameters from the previous page in the form of href="/xxx/xxx.jsp?xxx=mobilephone ".i use the struts tag <html:text property="mobilephone " value="mobilephone "><html:errors>to display and modify the information.
    but i found the Validator Frame didn't work instead of some information in the console :

    so i think some mistake must occur in the validator frame .
    please help me.
    thank you.

    Jurgen,
    Are you just getting this error while attempting to verify? Can you successfully deploy the app? This issue looks familiar to an earlier post in this forum and I believe the archive is OK but is anerroneous verify error? If the cmp-resource is defined in sun-ejb-jar.xml then it should be fine and if the resources are correctly configured. The other thing to check is that you have a persistance manager resource defined in domain.xml; i.e.,
    <persistence-manager-factory-resource enabled="true" factory-class="com.sun.jdo.spi.persistence.support.sqlstore.impl.PersistenceManagerFactoryImpl" jdbc-resource-jndi-name="jdbc/ejbTutorialDB" jndi-name="jdo/pmf" object-type="user"/>

  • PLEASE HELP! I use 1 track, and i get an alert saying "too many tracks"

    i just bought brand new MacBook Pro 2.16 with an extra Giga in RAM (2.0)...
    I use Garageband 3.0.4 (and no other application running) and im making a project with 4 very simple tracks (no effects and plug-ins). When i run the project for the first time i always get a message saying that im using a lot of software tracks! (its impossible, im sure is not a matter of number of tracks, nor a power issue). I have the buffer size at the highest level...
    should i re-install mac-os x?
    please help, y really need this software... was my reason to buy the computer, and is not working at all!

    so most of the artists and djs that play live with
    mac computers... use external drives??
    Most don't use GarageBand. DJ would use DJ software, and a musician might use GB as his synth, but not many people would do what you're trying with GB.
    this is my first mac experience
    Blame GB rather than the Mac, for all its eye candy and ease of use, it is a resource hog.
    other mac users doesnt seem to have the problem that
    i do... could it be just an error in my software??
    Actually I've seen this question posted many time, so others do have similar probs. Unfortunately it's really impossible to guess why one person has trouble and another doesn't. I was doing 12 tracks easy, with half your machine (but en external drive). I've seen posts where people complain that they can't record 1 track without an error. Without having the machine in front of me, it's just not possible to guess why B-(>
    error that could be fixed with a reinstlation??
    I doubt an reinstall would help. You might try running your Activity Monitor app to see what processes are running and using what resources.
