All my Apply gears updated to IOS 5 without problem except the iPHONE ?!
I update my MacAir, my iPad to IOS 5 without any problem. When I tried to do it to the iPhone, -23 error is found. I've done reset, change the cable, switching on and off the phone or the Mac of no avail (everything listed in the self-help page). Whatelse I can do to update my phone ?
in order to restore your songs and apps, you should just reconnect to itunes and sync your data. your phone ran a backup before it upgraded, and you can also do a restore. but the key is still to go to your itunes and sync back to your phone what you wanted there in the first place.

Yes, my battery is draining quickly and recharging slowly. Search is extremely slow, aol email won't work. Kindle app all messed up, lost all on device but have it backed up on amazon. I have slowly been discovering all that is wrong since Sunday's debacle of an update. Apple deleted a post siting improper just because i told the truth. They can delete all they want but this is one screwed up mess and they are desperate.

As Lawrence Finch suggests you can recover more recent information if you have a more recent iCloud backup.
To avoid this problem in the future you should check the iTunes settings when your phone is connected. Make sure iTunes is not set to sync automatically when your iPhone is connected. Another step to take is to give your new iPhone a unique name that is different from your old iPhone. Finally, the best way to charge an iPhone is to use the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a good wall outlet. -

You should not see anything labeled iCloud in Windows Explorer. -

There's no good way to do it. But you don't need to. iOS 7 automatically handles whether an application takes up memory or has files open. There's no real advantage to you ever closing an application yourself.

Actually, if you have never backed up your iPhone with iTunes or iCloud manually, there are still possibilities that iTunes or iCloud has backed up your iPhone automatically: every time you sync the iPhone with iTunes, iTunes will back up your iPhone automatically; if your iCloud backup was enabled, every time your iPhone is connected with Wifi and a power source with screen-locked, iCloud will create a backup automatically. If you find the backups, but the backups are not up to date, and you don’t want to lose the data generated after the backups, you can extract the lost data from the backups using the iPhone backup extractor.
In addition, you can also try to use the iPhone data recovery software to scan and recover the data on your iPhone directly even if you have no backups of your iPhone. -

My iPhone 3GS was originally synced with my Power Mac G3 iTunes 8.2.1. The hardware was pretty old and wouldn't allow for updates. I have recently purchased the mac mini (mid July 2011) and updated to the latest iTunes, 10.5. I was trying to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5 software but iTunes warned me that my music and apps would be lost because it wasn't originally synced with this version of iTunes or something of the sort. How can I update to iOS 5 without losing any apps and my music which wasn't purchased but imported into iTunes 8.2.1?

That's a whole nother issue...I have the Power Mac G3 and mac mini connected to one monitor and keyboard using a KVM Switch. I tried using an ethernet crossover cable to transfer the data from the G3 to the mini using Migration Assistant but it says the G3 needs to update to Lion. Mac OS 10.4.11 is the latest software update for the G3.
I have the G3 data backed up on a Western Digital MyBook external HD via firewire 400 but the mini is firewire 800 however, I did see a 9-pin to 6-pin FireWire 800/400 cable by Belkin. Could that be used to transfer the data from the HD to the mini? Sorry if that was too much information...I will check out the link. Thanks...Oh, what about the apps? They are all free downloads, do I have to download them again r does the same apply for them as the music? -

What happens when you try?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
The update to iOS 7 is frozen at the Terms and Conditions page and will not move, no matter what I click on. I cannot access my iPad as it is frozen on this screen. How do I remedy this nightmare?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try updating the software again.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

When publishing from Lightroom to Facebook, you are always sending them to an album. Lightroom doesn't generate you posts though. Generally Facebook is smart enough to create just one post for all of your images published to a single album. If you are getting individual posts per photo there isn't anything you can do from Lightroom's side to change that. Try refreshing you page your newsfeed or timeline to verify whether individual posts are being created or if it's just a timing issue.
Also, uploading images to Facebook will always result in your file having a different file name on the server and in the page code. No avoiding this, no matter your method of upload.
