All my music in playlists is lost on my Zen Mozaic EZ player

Hi ,can you please help me. I was putting some new tracks into my zen playlist, and everything was fine. When I unpluged my player, and wanted to listen my playlists, there was nothing. All the tracks disapeared. But when I plug my mp3 player back and open Creative Centrale, all the music is there, including playlists. What should I do. Please help. Thank you

Your iCloud backup does not hold your actual music. It only holds your iTunes purchase history of music. This will not include your CDs.

  • I have an iPod Classic 5th Gen.  After 1 month I've lost all my music and playlist files.  The only files left are music I have purchased from iTunes.  How do I restore my music library to my iPod?

I have an iPod Classic 5th Generation.  I have not used it for about one month.  When I turned it on, I had lost all my music and playlist files.  The only thing left on the iPod was the music and audio books I have purchased from iTunes store.  I tried to delete everything on the ipod by sliding the hold button and then pressing the center button and the menu and I saw the apple logo on the screen but the iPod wouldn't reboot.  Any suggestions as to how I can delete everything on the iPod and then plug it into my computer to restore my music library?  I am using a Windows 7 operating system.

Does both your Windows and Macbook iTunes have the same library of songs?
if it  does then, much easier to proceed, else try to load the Macbook with the same library as Windows.
Note that only one of the Macbook USB port is good for iPod Classic, the other is too slow and may cause timeout, and I would suggest disconnect all other USB devices, while you Restore or Sync the iPod Classic.
Connect the iPod to the Mac, (if iTunes launch, please close it back.)
Use Disk Utility -> select the iPod Device->First Aid->Repair (use option FAT32)
After the Repair complete, eject the iPod.
    Connect back to the Mac
When iTunes launch, Restore the iPod when Prompted, (use FAT32)
    Sync your library.
    Good Luck!

    Hello ryane84
The easiest and most efficient way to copy your music is to follow the steps under the External drive section. Make sure that you have organized the iTunes library first before you copy it over. Then put the copied iTunes folder in the same Music folder on your computer.

  • My iPod deleted all my music and playlists on the iPod when synching!

I turned on wifi on my iPod and opened up iTunes today to add music to the iPod. It was doing fine, then suddenly a song I was adding froze (it stayed grey on iTunes with a synching icon by it). It stayed like that for I don't know how long, I thought it was fine and so I wasn't looking. I look back a while later and every song on my iPod as displayed on iTunes has an exclamation point by it. I look at my iPod and it says "No Music." iTunes still knows all my playlists and songs and shows my iPod as having them all, except for all the exclamation points.
What happened, and how do I get all my music and playlists back?
I have an iPod Touch 4g with iOS 5, and iTunes 10.

Currently trying to do a restore from a backup I made about a week ago. I don't know if that will help; I'll update when it's done.
    EDIT: Music still gone.

  • I want all my music and playlists to sync on all my devices.

So I want all my music and playlists to sync on all my devices. I'm not sure if I do not have the correct options checked or what. I have an iPhone 5, a PC, a laptop and a tablet and I would like to make it so that if I make changes on one device it affects everything. I have an active iTunes match subscription but I'm not sure if that's the issue. So like if I buy a song new song on my iPhone and I add it to an existing playlist or create a new one, I want it to be the same way or update on all my devices and vice versa. Like I currently have a playlist that I created on my phone and I would like it to sync to all my computers but it will not for some reason. Also, when I plug my phone into my computer (whether it be my PC or laptop) that I have purchases and what not that are not present on said device and would I like to transfer...but then it can only be synced to one library? I just want all my libraries to become one and sync together. Can anyone help me with this? I consider myself to be incredibly technologically challenged. Thanks in advance for your time!

    Hi,
If you have iTunes match enabled, you should be to change playlists on your iPhone and also turn on automatic downloads on all devices
iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads
iTunes Match on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Manual sync is not available when match is turned on and in any event the sync is one way - PC to iOS devices.
Do you keep your actual files on your PC's hard drive?

all my music and playlist disappeared from iCloud, what am I supposed to do?

Check your Outgoing server settings against your provider info.
Or delete the account and set it up again.

  • How can i sync all my music and playlists from my iphone to my new computer

how can i sync all my music and playlists from my iphone to my new computer

Yes.  You can sync everything that is currently on your iPod Touch to your newer one. Just plug it in and sync it like you did with the old one.
If you want to retain your App data, see this article for information on backing up your current iPod Touch and restoring the backup onto a new one.

If you purchase the iPad, keep in mind that some Apps may not be compatible with it.

My ipod randomly deleted half my music last night. When I plugged it into my MBAir, all my music and playlist were showing on itunes but the were all flagged. what's happened and what do I do to fix this???? HELP!

It doesn't say anything. It runs through the sync process like normal and tells me all of the songs that it's synking. But then when it says I can disconnect it, nothing actually synked.

  • After the latest update of ios version, i lost all my musics an playlists on itunes. Can I recover them trought the Iphone?

After the itunes made the last update of IOS version, all the musics I had and the playlists I created, dissapeared from the itunes.
Can i recover them from the Iphone?

Did you mean update to iTunes?
    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

  • After a period of 2 months of non use I have found that all my music and playlists apart from the last 3 rips have disapeared - how do I get them back?

Restore them from the backup of your computer.

  • Lost playlists, but have all my music....I think..

I screwed up my iPod earlier today. I was able to retrieve all my music as it's on the hard drive (I think all Apple purchases get copied there too??) but all my playlists are gone. I have all my music and playlists on my iPod itself. Is there a way to just get the playlists themselves over, or do I have to do what the person before me questioned and start over from the beginning? It should be noted that I have a backup service that backs up everything each day. Would playlists generally be something that would make it in there? From what I'm reading it does not....
Should I delete everything off the hard drive, out or iTunes and start over by restoring from my iPod??
    Thanks

There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve music files and clone playlists from your iPod. Have a look at these three, they'll give you somewhere to start your research. I believe they will all cone playlists and other data from an iPod:
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
TouchCopy Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)

  • I quit my iTunes and reopened it and all of my playlists and songs were missing. How do I get everything back the way it was without having to start from scratch? I have all my music files I just do not want to have to make new playlists and everything.

My iPod still has all my music and playlists on it too. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?

Not sure. Did you open an alternate iTunes library? See here for how to navigate to and open an alternate iTunes library file, which hopefully still exists on your PC containing all your library information and such.

  • How do I restore my music and playlists from my iPod 4g to my iPod 5g?

I did a "full" backup to my computer of my old iPod, and restored my new iPod from that backup, but my music is completely empty and I don't want to manually put all my music and playlists back together. Help???

FIrst transfer the music from your old iPod to your iTunes by simply syncing it! After that,
How about syncing your new iPod with the 'Sync Music' box checkmarked ?

  • HT1364 Due to lack of space on my c drive I decided to move my music folder to the d drive. After I done this I changed my mind and put the music folder back on the c drive and now my itunes music and playlists etc. are missing. How do I get them back?

Due to lack of space on my c drive I decided to move my music folder to my d drive. After I done this I noticed all my music was gone from itunes so I decided to move the music folder back to the c drive to try fix the problem. All my music and playlists etc are still missing from itunes. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Is all my music in iTunes stored in iCloud?

Is all my music in iTunes stored in iCloud?  I have copied all of my music CDs to my iTunes on my PC and set up my playlists.  I see all my music and playlists on my iPad and SOME of my music in the iCloud.  I thought that there was a way to have all my music automatically go to the iCloud and thus leave storage on my iPad open.  I can't figure out what I did wrong.

Your iCloud backup does not hold your actual music. It only holds your iTunes purchase history of music. This will not include your CDs.
