All previous purchases located on iCloud show same last modified date? Why?

I logged into my iTunes account for the first time in a log time today and noticed that any purchases located on icloud show a last modified date of Jan 06 2015 and I was curious why this would be. I'm fairly certain I have not accessed the files this year as I just setup iTunes with an empty library this week. Would all the files having the same modification date be due to a change in the file on the icloud servers? I'm not an iTunes match subscriber so I assume I could not have made changes to the files on that date and have them sync to icloud. Am I correct in that assumption?
Any information would be appreciated. Below are my system specs, if it helps.
Os: Windows7 x64
iTunes version: 12.1.1.4

This is by design.
If you import an updated MP that is modifying the Incident class all Incident objects are updated to reflect the modifications of the updated MP.
For instance: If you remove two obsolet enum values and import the updated MP in SCSM, in all Incident objects the obsolte enum property values will be removed = Updated Incident object = Last Modified Date will change.

Chris, I certainly don't mind additional questions and postings.
I believe there are many issues with Apple Loops and Logic that need to be resolved and people need to be aware of that. Unfortunately, in opposite to the old "german" version of Logic , there's no lifetime tech support, you can't even call and ask the question after 60 days , which isn't right for a professional software of this level, especially considering the fact that many things still remain vague in Logic even for developers and tech support people!( believe me, I've called and asked!)
Issues like that need to be resolved over the phone with the company, period!
One thing I also learned over the years as a Mac OSX user, if something doesn't work, don't mess with it. Delete your drive and re-install everything. This is very frustrating , I know, but unfortunately this is the only way to deal with OSX issues, if you got a problem with your system, don't try to fix it. It's never gonna be the same again. I know , it's off the topic a little bit, but if your content is missing from the system files, before installing your new Logic, back up your important files, wipe up your drive and clean install Mac OSX , run updates and then install the Logic. Most likely , everything will be in it's place, at least 90% or more. I gave up trying to make two system in my house to be compatible 100% , but it's OK if they're 90% or more identical. I spent enormous amount of time trying to find out what's missing and where, I visited most of the forums and there's no clean answer.

Finder doesn't show correct "last modified" dates

For the longest time, the Tiger Finder has not always shown the correct "last modified" dates for files. Is there any fix or workaround for this?
Frequently, if I'm working in a folder with a bunch of files in it, and working in each individual file, and viewing the folder in list view, the modified date for each file will not update as I work on the file. Even if I close and reopen the folder, it won't update. Sometimes when I click on an individual file, the date will update. Other times not. If I use "Get Info" to look at the file, then I see its true last modified date.
I believe this used to be a problem in prior OS's too, and someone recommended a little contextual menu plug-in called "Nudge" to me. I went looking for that, found it, and installed it, but it doesn't do what I want. Now if I "nudge" a file, the Finder instantly marks it as modified right that second. That's not what I want. I need to know the last time the file was TRULY last modified, and I need it to show up immediately.
I work with a large quantity of files and part of the management scheme is figuring out, at a glance, when each file was last modified, so I can keep track of their development.

This issue has been driving me crazy, and I've been searching everywhere for a solution... today I am happy to report that I found one!
Limit Point Software has just released a great utility for dealing with this issue where folders have their "Date Modified" altered after you just opened the folder.
It is called "SyncFF" and you can download at:

SyncFF is a drop utility for setting the modification and creation date of folders to the latest modification date of their contained files. This way the modification date of the folder matches the modification date of the "oldest" file it contains. The process is recursive, which implies all subfolders are processed too. Universal Binary, Mac OS X 10.4 and above.
It works wonderfully, and it is so nice to have the proper modification dates on my folders and projects again.
I should also say that the developer is very helpful and responsive to feedback.

Hi,
Unable to past the screenshot on the forums message box. I have checked the filters and other stuff. Let me explain with an example wht is happening.
For example I have a report Spend Trends by Items, where I have Year, Spend, Year Ago Spend, Chg Year ago Spend, Change due to price, Change due to quantity, etc.. columns
This report is showing different years but for rest of the columns it is showing of total of all the year. Like for year 2003, 2004,2005 etc we spend 10,20,30 receptively. so report should show it as 2003 - 10,2004 - 20 & 2004 -30.
But it is right now showing like 2003 - spend 60, 2004 - spend 60 & 2005 - spend 60.

Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
If the above doesn't work, it is reported iTunes Support permitting a second download when asked nicely, but they are in no way obligated to do this. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes' in the first column; 'iTunes Store' in the second column; third column click 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption' and proceed from there.

Previous Purchase policy for iCloud.

Why would Fast and Furious be available for re-download on my iPad, but Fast Five and Fast 6 are not? They are all Universal pictures. I don't get this previous purchase policy for iCloud.

UPDATE: The current release of the iTunes software (v 9.1.0.79) fixed this problem.

Re-downloading all previously purchased songs

Just wondering if there is a quick and easy way of re-downloading all previously purchased songs onto my iTunes (I have purchased a new computer and the old one is dead). I have already authorised this computer, but short of going and finding all the purchases I have made in the past, can I just re-download them to here?

As Apple clearly point out in the Terms of Use / Purchase, downloads are allowed to be made once only.
You cannot download your music again, it is your responsibility to have made backups of your music files in case of loss.
Just as a record store won't replace a lost CD, Apple will not replace lost downloads.
I suggest you either transfer the music you purchased from the old computer to the new computer, or you get a copy of the music out of your last backup.
If you cannot access the old computer and you do not have a backup then do you have the purchases on an iPod / iPhone? If you do then you can connect the device to iTunes (DO NOT SYNC THE DEVICE WITH ITUNES as that would erase the content from the device). Once connected use the 'Transfer Purchases' option you will find in the file menu in iTunes.
If you have not got the music on an iPod, etc then all you can do is send a very polite and humble email to Apple using the 'Report a problem' feature in the Account area of iTunes and ask them to allow you to download all your music again. It has been known for Apple to allow this to be done, but they don't need to do so and may refuse.
If they do then you will have lost all your purchased music, your fault not theirs.

how did you formated the partition in NTFS ? ... on the mac? using the "disk utility" ? or did you use another program to do so ...?

If you are trying to restore to an iCloud backup, this has to be done during the initial setup process. If your phone is already set up, you will have to go back to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content & Settings, then go back through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to complete.
Also, your replacement phone must be running the same iOS version or higher to restore to your backup. If you are running an older version of iOS than the device that was backed up, your backup will not be visible when you choose to restore to your iCloud backup. If this is the case, you'll have to update your replacement phone first.

How can I show the last amend date of the .rpt file on my report?

I want to show the last amendment date of the .rpt file on my report.
Modification date and time refer to the actual report rather than the .rpt file.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using version 11.2.

Have you tried the "Modification Date" or "Modification Time" fields located under the Special Fields section of the Field Explorer?
I've never used them, but they seem like good candidates.

Force Crawler in Maint Mode to Ignore Last Modified Data and Re-Index All

We are running SES 10.1.8.4 with the Siebel 7.8 data source patches 8533402 and 8624308 to index documents (PDF, XLS, DOC, PPT) via RMI and Decompression Tool in Siebel. This data source is virtually identical to the database data source.
The crawler will not "fail" if the actual indexing of the attachment file itself fails. For example, if RMI is down on the Siebel server and the crawler runs, SES will index the document metadata returned in the SQL but not the document. If the client then starts the RMI utility and re-runs the crawler, the document that was not indexed will not be re-indexed because the data source's last crawl time is used against the data sources last modified date attribute.
Here is the pseudo SQL for the initial crawler query in maintenance mode....
SELECT .... FROM MY_VIEW WHERE LASTMODIFIEDATE > TIME OF LAST DATA SOURCE CRAWL
We have found a way to update the data source's last crawl time (DS_LAST_CRAWL) in the EQ$_DATA_SOURCE table. For now, we simply are using SYSDATE - 1.
This will allow the missed document to be returned in the initial query.
However, it's the crawler's document-level last modified date check within the crawler that is preventing the re-index. Since the document's last modified date is the same as what SES has, SES skips over it thinking it has not changed. True, it has not changed but it was missed during the last re-crawl and we want it to be indexed again.
The client does NOT want to perform a full re-index because of the anticipated volume of attachments.
Is there any way to tell the crawler to ignore the document-level last modified date and re-index everything returned from the initial query? Perhaps one of the other columns in the EQ$_DATA_SOURCE (DS_STATUS, DS_CRAWLING_MODE) holds the key?

I think it might be possible to set ENQUEUE_STATUS = 'Y' in the table EQ_TEST.EQ$URL. You may need to call eq_adm.use_instance(1) before doing so.
However I'm not sure of the full implications of doing this - DON'T DO IT ON A PRODUCTION SYSTEM without carefully testing on a development system.

Previously purchased movies and TV shows unable to download again

I previously purchased some movies and TV shows.
When I cleaned my computer, I was unable to take them off my itunes and keep them from using my MacAir memory unless I removed them from my computer. I cannot uncheck them from my itunes library, I had to delete them from my Itunes Media folder.
This seems to have made it impossible to download them from the cloud to my computer again.
How do I fix this?
How do I keep these items in the cloud, but off my computer without using my hard drive?

iTunes prefs > Store.
Tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
(If it's not there, log out of hte store then log back in. It's kinda flaky)
All your purchases should show wtih a cloud icon next to the title.
Click the cloud icon to download or right click - Download.
If you just click Play, it wil stream and not download to your computer.

You cannot purchase shows through the ATV2 as you could with the original ATV. But you can still purchase them on your computer and watch them through the ATV2. All of my old content (except HD movie extras) works on the new ATV and well as the old ATV.

Previously purchased tab on iPad shows purchases from multiple accounts?

We share a home account across 2 iPads. On 1 iPad if you look at previously purchased apps, it shows apps from another old
iTunes account I had, but no longer use for current purchases.
If an iPad is signed in with one account, why is it showing previously downloaded apps from a different iTunes account?
I would think it would only show apps for the currently logged in id?
Only thing I can think of is the 1 iPad has an app that was previously purchased with the older account, and copied over via
Home sharing possibly.

To clarify, if I log into each apple account seperately in iTunes on the PC, the 1 application shows under previous purchased Apps on both accounts. BUT it was only purchased under 1 account.
