Alternate battery for dv7t-3000?

Hello,
The battery on my dv7t-3000 laptop has conveniently started reporting that it needs to be replaced 3 months after my warranty has expired. Is the GA08 battery the only battery made for my model? Is there not a higher capacity/more cell battery available?

Here's an aftermarket 12 cell that should fit yours. So, yes, bigger batteries are being made. Whether hp is making bigger ones or not, that I don't know.

We need the P/N to verify what board will fit in that laptop and also you can use that P/N from service manual to locate the part on eBay to find a match or call HP support to see what the board would cost.

Memory Upgrade on DV7T-3000 (NQ339AV)

I have a Pavilion DV7T-3000 with i7-820QM Processor. I am planning on a memory upgrade. Has any one tried upgrading it to 16GB RAM ? (2 x 8GB). As per specs it can only go up to 2x4 GB.

I live in Ireland. How can I buy a new battery for my N500?

I need to buy a new battery for my Lenovo 3000 N500. However, in the Ireland section of the Lenovo web site NONE of the dealers have this part in stock. It is in stock on the US and UK sections of the web site, but apparently only people in those countries can buy it on line. I would be prepared to buy it online from the US or the UK and pay the shipping charges to Ireland. In more than 13 years on the web, Lenovo is the first company I've encountered where I haven't been able to use my credit card to purchase an item from the US or the UK. I do this all the time with companies like Land's End, Amazon, James Meade etc etc.
Fine, if I'm not allowed buy from the US and the UK. But at least,then, make sure I have some other way of buying the part - either on line or from a store.

Battery Maximizer Lenovo 3000 Series

I would like why no Battery Maximizer software for 3000 Series systems/notebooks?
Why only for ThinkPad series?

AC DC Wire Harness - HP dv7t-3000

Hello,
Was wondering is anyone would know where I can find the part number for the AC/DC Wire Harness on an HP dv7t-3000 laptop? When disassembling the laptop to change the cooling fan, I accidentally pulled the two wires from the small wire harness. This is the internal wire with the AC jack at one end and a six pin harness and a two pin harness at the other end, each which plug into the motherboard. I called HP Parts, but they didn't understand what I wanted and couldn't find the wire/jack on their user replaceable parts list. Elsewhere on the net, I have found a few wires, but not any exactly like the one I have. Most parts inside the machine had a part number, but this did not.
My product number is: NQ339AV
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for the response. That is much closer than the others I have seen. Unfortunately, my jack has has a second black and red wire that goes into a second two pin harness. So, it has the same wires in the same configuaration and harness as the one pictured on ebay, but it also has a second two pin harness containing a black and red wire. All wires - 6 from one harness and 2 from the second originate from that jack - the same one pictured on ebay. I'll keep looking, but if you see any thing else, please ket me know.

The new battery will become less effective if you store it in a hot or humid environment. It should be stored at room temperature (22 C).
Long term storage (6 months):
Apple recommends that you store the battery with a 50% charge. If you store a battery when it’s fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding any charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may experience some loss of battery capacity, meaning it will have a shorter life.

New Apple battery for macbook only lasting half as long as my old battery.

I'm having a bit of trouble here. Last month a family member needed to leave on an emergency trip but was having battery problems and didn't have time to get a new battery before catching her flight, so I gave her mine and a day or two later went to the apple store and bought a new OEM apple battery for myself. I believe that the old battery had around 80-90% left in its life and performance from the way it would act. Unfortunately this new battery would not interface with the computer at first. I followed the apple page battery troubleshooting recommendations and ended up resetting my power service manager (sorry if I'm butchering the name here) by removing the power sources and holding the power button for 5 seconds. It fixed the interface problems and the computer now recognizes the battery just fine. However, the battery life on this new battery is pretty poor. I only get about 60 minutes of youtube video watching out of it before its done (no other applications running), or about 100 minutes of general non-streaming use. My old battery was at least double this, if not more. Does anyone have any ideas where I should look next? Here is some battery information that might help:

Purchasing a battery from a third party vendor is a high risk proposition. Many such batteries have been found to be substandard.
I suggest that you try and contact Apple and see if you can have one shipped to you.

CMOS / RTC Battery for Satellite A100-326?

Hi,
I'm after a replacement CMOS/RTC battery for my A100-326
I've got my machine open and located the battery but it has no model number on it.
I have contacted a Toshiba assistance center and they replied that the battery is part of the board and the whole board has to be replaced. However, if I can find the reference for the battery, I have a friend in a computer store that will replace it with a new one.

Compatible Battery for Satellite A100-204

I can't find any replacement battery for my Toshiba satellite A100-204 Laptop. The original battery is a 4 cell recycable Li-ion PA3451U-1BRS. Everytime i look for this battery in google i only find it for the Toshiba M40.
It allmost looks the same but i am not sure if it is. Problem with my battery is that it gets empty after one hour, and i need more hours ;-).Everything is still new though (got it last weekend), is this normal for a 4 cell battery?
I would like a battery wich lasts longer, 8 cell or higher if there is. But i dont know wich ones are compatible and dont know how to look for it (actually i do. I aint no noob and allways find my stuff, but this doesnt work out the way i search). Looks like the laptop is a bit rare......
Please help me find one that will fit, and be sure of it :-D.
(Btw, I live in The Netherlands, if that might matter for finding the battery nearer.)
