Alternative for integrating Portal to Sap Webwas 6.20 (without ITS)

Hello
I have a scenario which I should open SAP Transactions from Uwl tasks in Portal, without ITS (as sap Webwas doesnt have embedded ITS).
I get the following error:
iView : pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/uwl/com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.uwlSapLaunch
Nome de componente : com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.Transaction
Exception in SAP Application Integrator occured: Application URL ':///sap(ZT01VUxMbEJHNHpWWUIzVyUyQjRZWm5lWnclM0QlM0R1NjYlMkZzcklXQ3Z4WXJPV3g5OXVvVnclM0QlM0Q=)/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui' is not valid! Please check the protocol and host entries for system 'R3_SYSTEM'..
Is there any alternative for accessing the SAP Transactions in UWL without ITS?
I tried to change the Uwl XML to call a custom view, but nothing has changed, the result is the same. I changed from:
    <ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.TS01000096.R3_SYSTEM" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="DefaultView" defaultAction="launchSAPAction" executionMode="default">
      <ItemTypeCriteria systemId="R3_SYSTEM" externalType="TS01000096" connector="WebFlowConnector"/>

Hi Vitor,
This is not possible.
If you want to call backend transactions you will need to use the ITS: ITS 6.20 for backend releases with kernel 6.20 (and lower) or the Integrated ITS with kernel >= 6.40. SAP notes 709038 and 325616 can give you more information.
Best regards,
Cristiano

  • Alternative for integration process ?

    The XI integration process functionality for me looks like another example of overkill design in XI. Needs lots of additional abstract message interface declarations, difficult to follow what really happens.
    Question: what alternatives in XI are possible without breaking the architecure completely ? E.g. when I have to perform some simple connected steps, like call an RFC, then load a file via FTP, then send out an email with the result data. Where in XI could I define a Java or ABAP method which does that programmatically ? The communication channels have some module processors. Would that be the right place ( define a module processor in channel which receives the trigger). Are there standard functions in XI available in Java or ABAP to perform RFC, FTP...
    or is it better to do it in a Java or ABAP mapping ? This does not seem to make much sense.
    Any experiences or ideas ?

    hi,
    the complete lauch of xi is to have common place for all designed interfaces and configuration and monitoring stuffs.
    client b4r getting in to xi should read his landscape and justify whether to  bring in xi r not, when this step is not done,  questions as mentioned above would arise around
    what is the need of  xi for simple function which i can do by abap , java , jco s etc..(many ask ))
    but  beauty of xi is tapped when the  landscape around it is growing and when u want to  intergrate those all systems.
    i guess it's better to have xi standard congf instead peeping in to other hindden programs to do same , as it would be easily visible to all developer who come in .
    IP is the class idea and u shud think if u r flow has more logic in between to be manipulated.
    In in the end the moral is that every system is capable of meeting the requirment we shud be in search of which can be trusted and maitained easily as a long run  ) everything is possible.

  • Approaches for Integration of non-SAP Systems in CE

    Hello!
    Sorry for this theoretical question but it is important fo me to know:
    Is the use of Webservices the only way to integrate non-SAP Systems in a Process desinged with Netweaver BPM or are the other ways too? If yes, which are they? Is CE only designed for consuming Webservices?
    Thank you all for your help.

  • Integration Primavera with SAP

    Dear Experts,
    What are the pros & cons, If we integrate SAP with Primavera.
    Which is the best recommended software by SAP  to integrate .
    Any extra manpower required for interface or any new developments required in this case in sap.
    How much its cost to integrate.
    How it works, online or offline.

    Hi,
    There are so many software's available in the market and certified by SAP for Integration Primavera with SAP.
    If you want to develop your own interface between SAP and Primavera,it is tedious and time consuming so better is to go for a ready made software certified by SAP which will ease you work.

  • What technical components are needed for integration of SAP BI and BO?

    Hello,
    What technical components are needed for integration of SAP BI and BO?

    Hi,
    you need to setup a BOBJ server (eg. BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 or BO Edge 3.1) and then install the BusinessObjects integration Kit for SAP on the same machine your BOBJ server runs.
    In order to build reports you can either use Crystal Reports (eg Install Crystal Report Designer 2008 V1 if you have an XI 3.1 server installed), WebIntelligence (Install the Business Objects XI 3.1 Client Tools in order to be able to build universes), BusinessObjects Voyager or XCelsius. Please note that you have to always install the BOBJ integration Kit for SAP (should be the same version as your server and client installation) on your clients AFTER you installed one or more of the above client tools.
    Please take again a look at the following link for more detailed information (from Ingo) on this:

    - EP has to generate SSO tickets
    BusinessObjects:
    - SAP Authentication has to be configured
    - BI system should be configured has default system in the options of the SAP authentication

  • Missing beans for BI/Portal integration configuration

    I've configured BI/Portal configuration but when executing the tests or when using BEX I have an errors:
    com.sap.engine.services.rfcengine.RFCException: Bean RSWR_TEMPLATE_PROCESS_PROXY not found
    Caused by: .jndi.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of RSWR_TEMPLATE_PROCESS_PROXY.
    same error for other RSWR beans (RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST etc.).
    It seems I am missing some component(s), in my installation (the SSO, auth, etc seems configured correctly according the configuration guides).
    Does anybody knows what component I should re-deploy in order to have missing beans? Any other possibility to fix this error?
    Thanks,

  • Integration of ESS Portal and SAP

    Hi,
    Project Systems report  RPSISKB000 - Capacity Requirements Overview  (t-code CN50N) is a report works correctly when analyzing time that was entered via the R/3 GUI in transaction CAT2 u2013 Time Sheet: Maintain Times.  However, when executing against time entered via Employee Self Service (ESS) Time Sheet Entry,  the u201CActual Worku201D hours are not pulling through to the report.
    I believe this is because when time is entered via ESS Time Sheet Entry  the fields Capacity ID (KAPID) and Split Number (SPLIT) in table CATSDB are not populated.   These two fields are populated when time is entered via the R/3 GUI in transaction CAT2.
    I need how to populate these two fields when time is entered via ESS. How data flows from ESS Portal to SAP.
    How SAP and ESS Portal integrated for data flow in between.
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    You have to ensure that these fields in The CATS profile are set as input in CAC2 ie fields should be input and not is display

  • Requirements for integration of XYZ Service - SAP.

    Hi Team,
    Appriciate any help on understanding the below requirement and how/where to start work in XI.
    Requirements for integration of XYZ Service - SAP.
    XYZ Service has CRM middle where and SAP ECC 6.0
    XYZ Service Calls
    =============
    1. All the completed calls in XYZ Service has to go in SAP automatically for validation process.
    2. All call details (parameters) has to come in sap from XYZ Service to SAP like..
         Field Name:
         =========
         Per No.
         official no.
         mohile no.
         Cust Name.
         Address.
         etc.
    3. All the AMC generated in XYZ Service should replicate to SAP, with all the customers, AMC and product details.
    Validation in SAP:
    ==============
    4. In SAP we have to validate the calls according to below parameters.
        --> date of purchase :  abc validation
        --> Serial No. :   Should be n fixed lenght with some format
        --> Part & Qty. : Same part should not have been consumed in last 30 days in same unit.
        -->
        -->
        etc.
    Process in SAP
    ============
    5. All the calls which carry the spare parts has to approve by the store person. He can approve/disapprove the call.
    6. Call without spare part have to approve by system once validation process finish and it will considerin qlt report in sap.
    7. If the store peroson disapproves tthe call it has to go back XYZ Service and reprocess again.
    8. Prepare quality report for all the calls in SAP.
    9. Consumption report has generate for each call wise.
    10. Call wisw defective settlement( replenishment) in SAP and generate automatic loan settlement.
    11. Franchisee bill claim to SAP.
    12. ASC can change the disapproved calls and reprocess it again.
    As for my understanding and discussions from the above requiremet,
    Customer/franchisee/client....enters the request/data through the Web Application .
    process from CRM and then to SAP ECC 6.0. after all the process complete details to be shown on Web Applications.
    So here where exactly supposed ti implemet the XI system and little bit of confuse how and where to start from.
    Please guide me to start the above mentioned and give me a break to learn and do lot of things in XI/PI.
    Regards,
    Ramana.

    Thank you Gaurav.
    However, as for my understanding...as the client using a legacy system for getting the information.
    also The data is given on Web Application ( say via portal) and the data verified from CRM system and then processed via SAP ECC 6.0 giving the required information on the Wb Application to the client (Portal)
    That means needto implement XI integration to show the complete required information on the web application.
    Only this is I am not knowing how to frame this complete design and where and how exactly to stat.
    Please correct me if I am wrong and if possible with the same relavent information.
    Thank you for your valuable support.
    Regards,
    Venkat,

  • Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal

    Hi,
    We are implementing EP for ECC 5.0 and we have to web enable some FI transactions like FB50/fb60 etc. We want to use standard business package for this. The only business package that caters this requirement is "Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal 60.1". When i checked the data source for this business package, the specification is for "SAP R/3 4.6B and above". Does this work for ECC 5.0 as well? In general does the R/3 specific business packages work for ECC versions? Please let me know. Thanks for the help.  I promise rewards.
