Amazon Website - Where's the top of the page?

I am using Safari, and when I go to Amazon, the Amazon heading and search box that used to appear is gone. I have no idea what happened, but could someone tell me if there is a setting in Mac OS to fix this?

Thanks for the reply, Matt. The actual Amazon search bar on the Amazon website, not the Safari add-on/extension. I don't think the page width is the problem. Also, using Firefox, the page displays normally.
I thought it might be some kind of setting with Growl or Glims, but did not see anything relating to Amazon.

My old Firefox used to show the website being visited and one could type in a website to change to another website. The new Firefox does not have this feature. How do I change my new Firefox so that I can type in a web address. This used to be at the top of the page.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

I cannot click on 'reply' on a website where you can post comments. I try to reply to someone elses post, it jumps back to the top of the site!

I have 'Yahoo' as my home page, and from there I see articles which I usually like to respond to and make comments. That I can do quite easily, but if I try to post a reply to someone else's comment, the page jumps back to the top and the 'reply' option does not open for me to post my comment. This does not happen all the time, but it is happening quite often now. I have RESET my Firefox browser thinking that was the problem, but it still persists.

The first thing you can try is to clear the cache and cookies.
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

You could turn Java on/off, javascript on/off, turn on source view, and many other things. Now I cant find that toolbar. All that I can find now turns on a panel in the lower half of the window that probably does all the same stuff, but it takes up much more room. Where did that toolbar go? or was it an add-on or plug-in?

Well I figured it out, right click the arrow that makes the screen bigger and unclick the Hide Toolbar. I knew it couldn't be that hard.

That change was made in Firefox 4, 6 months ago.
Click-hold the unified Back / Forward button

right-click it to get the Back / Forward history for that tab.

When I open a link for another website Firefox opens a new tab but puts a line on the top of the new page saying that Firefox has blocked the website from transferring me to another page.
I have to press ALLOW before Firefox will open the new page.
How can I solve this problem.

If I am browsing on site such as Ebay or any shopping site, and click on an item, when I return to the search page I am once again at the top of the page and have to search down for where I was in the list of items.

This is not only on Ebay it is everywhere I search. Firefox goes back to the top of the page . It is annoying to have to figure out exactly where I was if I left the page and then returned. This is a hinderance when using Firefox. I have considered uninstalling it because of the inconvenience of 're-searching' after already doing a search. Firefox used to take me right back to where I was if I left a page, but that feature is not working now. I am not sure how to change this in the settings.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

I inadvertedly must have changed a setting where the apple logo and files and things that used to be in the top left corner of the screen are no longer there as the clock and wifi status and other installed settings used to show up in the top right hand corner of my screen. When I move my mouse to the very top of the screen they drop down but when I move my arrow away from the very top of the screen they both disappear again. So I was wondering how can I get it to revert back to the way it used to be? I hope this isnt confusing.

I tried the zoom thing but it still didnt resolve my issue Im gonna try to clarify my issue a little bit more, before the change, my screen when I would surf the web would have the apple logo and safari and file and edit and view buttons at the top left hand of the screen and the upper right hand screen would have the time and the wifi strength and my name and the spotlight box and a volume control but now they dont show while Im browsing the web unless I take my arrow and move it to the very top of the screen then those boxes will drop down like it used to be but when I take my arrow and move it from the top of the screen it disappears again and ll I get is a back and forward arrow and the url input bar. I fixed the problem somewhat myself by removing the miniSD and manually inserting it. It did not populate automatically. I had to open iPhoto and then it populated only the most recent photos I had taken which fortunately were the only ones I need. No error messages this seems to be a new occurrence.
Is there a way to just turn iPhoto off and download my photos to the folder of my own choosing?

Drag up the default toolbar or individual objects.

Interesting point. As I said, I have done all this of course,. Hence I doubted my interpretation of the Help Page instructions.
However I find, even now, that when I drag the right edge of the window over to what would be half way across my second screen if it were connected (it is disconnected right now because the monitor has died and I haven't replaced it yet) still all I can get are the options as far right as the crop tool. That's it.
