Amount & quantity in miro

Dear Forum,
In miro invoice transaction, when I enter the PO, I notice amount and quantity both also empty. Why?

Assuming you're working with GRs, the quanity and hence value (quantity * unit price) will only be presented if a GR has taken place.
Note you can still manually enter a quantity and value (but first check the PO history and what MIRO type transaction you are posting e.g. Invoice or Credit, or Sdebit or Scredit).
if you've knocked out the GR indicator, just enter the quantity and value manually  (but first check the PO history and what MIRO type transaction you are posting e.g. Invoice or Credit, or Sdebit or Scredit).

    when u do the MIRO system took values from the GRN,
    if u do MIRo first then as there is no GRn u will get blank values only
    if ur doing for advance payment then use transaction F-48 and give advance, then GR and then MIRo so in MIRo u will get the warning of advance payment
    if u want perior invoice then u have to fill the blank with amount and quantity manually as system dont know the amount u want to invoice
    as sytem dont know the value and quantity of the invoice fileds are blank ,but if u scroll to the right u will find the value and the quantity of the PO from there u can copy using ctrl+Y and paste it to blank colums

  • Invoice amount/quantity not populating when parking invoice before GR

    Hi gurus,
    When I am going to park an invoice without GR (the import cases where invoice comes first) the system is not populating the amount/quantity in the invoice (MIR7).
    If I will check the GR based invoice option in the purchase order than it picks the amount/quantity.
    My users requirement is the population of amount/quantity in case when GR not performed.
    Can anyone help me out from this scenario.

    Thanks for your reply but in the cases of import the GR won't be possible. The invoice will be received before GR and if the amount/quantity does not populated automatically then there is a 100% chances of error (manual entry).
    There should be some way through which these fields will be populated.

  • Return delivery quantity in MIRO credit memo

    Hi,
    We have done a goods receipt for a GR based IV and posted the vendor
    invoice also.Then some partial quantity of the said GR is returned back
    to Vendor.When we are going for Credit memo in MIRO transaction, system
    is again suggesting the same old GR quantity.The quantity which is
    returned back is not reflected at all.Again manual entry of quantity
    and amounts to be done here which will lead to errors.
    Is there any way to address this

    It is always better to use return PO for the return qyt for sending the mtrl if postings are done for the vendor.

  • GR/IR amount Diffrences between MIRO and MIGO for Document currency

    Dear Friends,
    I have one issue in MIRO Document posting, I will explain the issue by below steps.
    1. I have created Purchase Order with option "Exchange rate fixed" and my PO Exchange rate is 1.8700
    Purchase order details
    Quantity - 2, Price - 23,376.85 and Total PO value - 46,753.70 EUR ( Document currency), local currency is SGD
    2. We posted Single Goods Receipts entry for the above PO and system took exchange rate from PO (1.87)
    GR Accounting document value - 46753.70
    3. We have create two invoice documents for the above single Goods Receipts.
    First invoice posted with correct value and accounting entries are below
    Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
    Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 2272.23 SGD
    Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
    4. Problem in Second invoice posting only, Refer below accounting entries
    Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 29,221. 06 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
    Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 4219.52 SGD
    Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
    Credit - Material account - 5844.21 EUR - 0.00 SGD
    Now my questions is why system posted extra one credit line item with value 5844.21 EUR for second invoice, I tried to simulate this same situation again. but I couldnt get this extra line item for credit.
    Please advice and guide me.

    Hi,
    Both Invoice header details Exchange rate is followed by Exchange rate table. But it did conversion based on PO Exchange rate.
    We didn't maintain Exchange rate type EURO for the currency EUR to SGD.
    Normally system will post the exchange differences in local currency not in Document currency.

  • Amount split in MIRO without tax amount

    Hi All,
    I had posted this in different thread and felt its better to open separate thread instead.
    I am facing a problem to use amount split on net amount instead on gross amount so that taxes can be paid in first installment.
    Situation is as below
    Entry is generated
    GR/IR Dr. 100
    Tax Dr. 25.50
    Vendor Cr. 101.25 (90% split on total amount)
    Vendor Cr. 11.25 (10% split on total amount)
    Items are split based on installment payment term correctly. however since tax need to be paid immediately it should split like this:
    GR/IR Dr. 100
    Tax Dr. 25.50
    Vendor Cr. 115.50 (90% split of 100 GR/IR value + 25.5 of tax )
    Vendor Cr. 10 (10% split)
    Then in OBY6 I enabled amount split. When I try to post invoice in MIRO with amount split I am getting error: Account assignment not completed for all required fields (PayT) Message no. F5A034. And in payment tab payment terms fields are hidden. I have ticked 'Enable amount split' in OBY6. and have updated amount split tab.
    Please let me know where the error is?

    The problem was in posting key I had maintained payment term as required entry. I changed that into optional and it is working now.

  • Cash discount amount field in MIRO and FI document

    Hi ,
    In MIRO we are overwriting the cash discount amount but for some reason in  the FI document instead of the overwritten cash discount amount SAP is taking the payment term and calculating the discount.
    Any solutions to correct this?

    I need to manually populate the discount amount in field:  INVFO-WSKTO (Cash Discount Amount in Document Currency) while capturing FB60/MIRO and not the automatically calculated discount amount(that one is working fine.).

  • Tax Base amount calculation in MIRO

    Hi friends ,
    Need your help on the following issue
    1.     PO item price is Rs 20/-  &  Tax is 7 % . But Tax 7 % should be calculated on                 Rs 100/- (20+80 =100)  in MIRO . i.e. Assessable value for tax is Rs 100/-
    2.     We tried this scenario in the following way .
          Enter the tax amount as  Rs 7/- (7% on Rs 100/) ,
          Do not ticket u201CCalculate taxu201D ,
          Enter the u201CTotal Amountu201D as Rs 27/- ( Rs 20+7)can put
    It is working fine. But when we take report to submit government officials, for this PO line item the assessable value is showing as Rs 20/- (PO value) and the tax 7% on this assessable value shows as  Rs 1.4/-  though the tax value is Rs 7/- .
    Could some one help how to face this issue

    If your tax procedure is TAXINN,
    Define new condition type with Cond Class B & Cal Type C.
    Define new condtion table and access sequence for this condition type.
    Include this tax condition type in Tax procedure.
    It is to be included next to BASB. This condition type to be maintained as statistical in TAXINN.
    Maintain condition record on required combination.
    In third step of TAXINN, give the summation of BASB & new condition type.
    Use this third step as the assessable value for tax calculation.
    In your case,
    STEP       Condition type            Value
      10            BASB                     = 20                  (From PO Item Price)
      20            New condition type   = 80                 (From condition Record)
      30            Assesable Value      = 100               (STEP 10 + STEP 20)
      40            Tax condition type    =    7                  (7% FROM STEP 40)
    Then go for PO-GR-MIRO as regular procedure.

  • Retention Amount capturing in MIRO

    Dear All,
    My Client requirement is as below.
    While posting a Invoice via MIRO or F-43, the invoice need to be split into 2 lines , one line(part of the amount 80%) need to be paid within 15days and remaining 20% after 1year.
    I defined Installment payment terms for this anad assigned to Vendor master. It is posting two lines but my client says the second installment nedds to posted using aSPl GL indication (Retention defined) and in Fk10n the balance should be shown in Spl GL. 
    How is it possible. In payment terms i cannot ask to post to SPl Gl.

    hello,
    first you post the total invoice for 100%.  To retain 20% you go to f-51(vendor clearing) there you credit special GL with R in posting 39 and enter the amount 20% and select the process open items.  It will open vendor open items there you select the open item which was posted for 100%.  So two documents will generate.  One is with special GL indicator. And next one is with out special GL account. At the time of Payment in f-53 select the posted invoice document and the new doucment (with out specila indicator document). So the vendor will be paid for 80% only. Balance 20% will be laid in vendor open items.  So you can select the vendor open item whenever you want to pay the open items.

  • Calculating TDS in amount splitting in MIRO

    Hi experts,
    In MIRO Transaction there is an amount split tab where I put the vendor retention momey Rs 9362.34/- and  in another line the rest of the amount Rs.40000/- which i have to pay to the vendor by F110 transaction code ,the total bill value is Rs 49362.34/-.The particular vendor is subjected Withholding tax (at the time of Invoice posting).
    After Simulation system is calculating Withholding tax on both i.e Rs 9362.34/- and Rs.40000/-.
    *Can anybody tell me is there any process that system will calculate Withholding tax on the total bill value i.e Rs 49362.34/-for one time and after payment RS.40000/- by F110 transaction code the Retention Money will be seen as Open item in Vendor ledger?*

  • Amount split in MIRO - payment method supplement

    Dear All,
    We have activated amount split functionality at the company code level and are getting an additional tab while doing MIRO. Requrirement is to get the payment method supplement field (ACSPLT-UZAWE) in the amount split screen.
    I have tried creating a variant by clicking on the yellow/blue configuration icon on top right of this dialogbox and the field is not marked invisible (infact none of the fields are invisible) yet am not able to see the PmtMthSupl in the "splitting of the final amount" window
    Can anyone help me with this. How can i get all the  visible fields on the miro screen

    hi,
    You need to enable an amount split via your company code settings so that you can post different amounts of your vendor invoice to different vendor accounts or different withholding tax accounts.
    Settings:
    SPRO >> Financial Accounting>> Financial Accounting Global Settings >>Company Code >> Enter Global Parameters
    here select your company code and on the Company Code Global Data: Details screen, select Enable amount split. and then Save...

  • How to separate the Retension amount GL at MIRO

    Hi gurus,
    I have a Purchase Order with Payment term K01 which stands for 80% agnst work done,15%-completion,5% bk guarantee.Let us say we have created a PO for Rs 100. Now when I do MIRO my entries are as follows.This are divided as per the Payment terms.
      GR/IR 100 Dr
       20000 Vendor a/c 80 Cr
       20000 Vendor a/c 15 Cr
      20000 vendor a/c   5   Cr
    20000 = Reconciliation a/c
    Now 80+15=95 i will be paying immediately but 5 should go to retension GL since i will be paying that amount after 1 year.   
    ie: It should look like
      20000 Vendor a/c 80 Cr
      20000 Vendor a/c 15 Cr
      30000 retension a/c   5   Cr
    Pl suggest how this can be done.

    IN the PO pricing cdn type . Mke a new cdn type named retention , create a new gl account - retention gl account .
    now in the pricing schema make the cdn type and assig the gl account with a acct key.
    is cdn type -
    aqct key . now go to obyc  t code ... for the act key give the gl account maintained.
    do , gr ,then miro . it will reflect as u want

  • Commited Spend Amount / Quantity in Document Currency

    The Transformation (ASA TF for PO Integration: 0ASA_DS01 -> ODSO 0ASA_DS09)  loads the following Key Figure in PO Detail Layer
    0XSASPNACOM Committed Spend Amount
    0XSASPNQCOM  Committed Spend Quantity
    But the PO Detail Layer does not load the same in Document Currency as a result the Committed Spend Amount (Document) and  (Local) are not showing any result in the SPM UI reports
    Please let me know if we have missed any thing which is preventing the loading.

    0XSASPNQCOM Committed Spend Quantity
    Are the global values i.e. whatever you have defined as your global currency during the data loading. These fields will be populated with the spend amount from your invoice amount where the invoices have a corresponding PO in the PO DSO.
    There are two more key figures
    0XSASPNACOT
    0XSASPNQCOT
    That are (presumably) for capturing the committed spend amounts and quantities in the transaction value.
    If you examine the expert routine you describe, you will note that these aren't actually being populated here.
    You may wish to code these in yourself and/or raise an OSS message if they are required.

    when i enter an MIRO with refrence to a bill of lading, the amount that being populated is different to the amount in shipping cost document
