Android App - works fine in Device Central but not in phone

Greetings!
Just looking for some general "you might try this" tips. I've built a very basic game app for Android so I can start learning not only how to develop for Android, but also how to publish and distribute Android apps to users.
My game works fine when I test in Device Central from Flash. And I've been able to upload my app to the Android Market. But when I install and run on my Android phone (I've actually tested on two separate devices), I just get a light yellow screen with a series of tiny dots that move across the screen, almost like a loading indicator, but nothing happens after that.
I've tried publishing as both an Air (Air 2) file and a Flash (Flash 10) file. In device central, I tested the app on a Droid Incredible emulation. The devices I've tested on are an HTC Inspire (AT&T) and an HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon).
So, I know there's no way for someone to take my limited description above and say "this is your problem". Again, I'm just hoping for some general tips along the lines of "try publishing in a different version of Flash".
Any suggestions for where I should start digging?

Scaling mobile app works fine on the X but not on the Y

I originally made my app to work for iphone only but I am now scaling it to work on Ipad/ Android etc. I am doing all the scaling manually. It is a tabbed application.
I am scaling all x and y locations and widths and heights by a scale factor that is created using..
scaleFactorX = stage.width/320;
scaleFactorY = stage.height/480;
It works perfectly on the x but not quite enough on the y as objects look a little squashed vertically.
I can't think why this is. If I were to alter the y scalefactor it would put things out when at the original phone size.
The only part I'm not scaling manually is the actionBar and the bottom tabs. They are currently using default skins which use the DPI classification to determined size. I have however overridden this and set the action bar to use a skin with a much greater layoutContentGroupHeight. This hasn't however had any effect on the y scaling of objects in the main display area.
The y scale isn't out by much, but it bothers me. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

App working fine on all emulators but not on real devices

hi, i made a 3d scene using height map it worked perfect on sun emulator but did not work on real device Nokia 6280 and instead said nullpointer exception there is no err with jar file or any other small error.
When i run that same application on sonyerricson emulator then it did not show anything at all just blank screen on all phone of sony erricson

Sorry if I am putting this question in wrong section, this seems to be the most relative location to ask question.
My Problem:
I have developed an app using Adobe Air and starling. App is working perfectly when I run on Flash Builder (debug and run both). When deploying on iPad at one particular location, it is either not getting TouchPhase.ENDED or some code is crashing.
I tried to debug while running app on iPad and its working absolutely fine. But when I create the ipa file normally i.e. without debug mode, at a particular location code is not working.
Please help me out in this regard, asap. I need to deliver it.

Text Index works fine consistently with Table, but not on underlying View

We are facing weird issue relating to Oracle Text Indexes. Search using Oracle Text Index
works fine on a Table, but when running query on View it gives sometimes (not consistently)

This is a known issue with CTXCAT indexes. Sometimes the optimizer will "drive" the query off another index, and request results from the CTXCAT index on a row-by-row basis ("does the row with rowid NNNN satisfy this CATSEARCH condition?"). That's known as a functional lookup, and is not supported by the CTXCAT indextype.
The only solution is to try to persuade the optimizer to use a different plan which does not use a functional lookup. This can be achieved by the use of hints, or sometimes by collecting or deleting statistics on the table.

PDF App works fine on Acrobat 7 but doesn't work in Acrobat 8/9

We had to upgrade our environments to Acrobat 8/9 and the same app either HANGS or Shuts Down when opened in Acrobat 8/9 (Reader and Professional). When I timed some sections of the code, I got down to the following statement (Click action of a button):
xfa.host.resetData(Home.APHomeSF.somExpression)
Where Home is a subform on page 1 and APHomeSF is a subform within Home form. This statement takes a fraction of a second in Pro 7 but 18 seconds in Pro 8. The APHomeSF subform has a checkbox, text field, date field and a button. Even when I changed the reset statement to resetting ONLY the checkbox:
xfa.host.resetData(Home.APHomeSF.FCB.somExpression)
Pro 8 still took 18 secs to reset the data. My question is that have any BASIC things changed in Acrobat 8/9 from Ver 7 that are deprecated or not supported, which may cause our application to take longer to run or just shut down.
I am using Livecycle Designer to edit the application. When I open the application in Livecyle and just save it, I get many "Argument mismatch in property or function argument" errors. Following is one of the places:

Font Service: Default font typeface is Myriad Pro.
Script failed (language is javascript; context is xfa[0].form[0].CopyContent[0].#subform[0].SPOA[0].SPOAdataRow[0])

HP ePrint Works fine on Nexus 5, but Not on Nexus 7

Hi...I have no issues with using HP ePrint on the Nexus 5, but for some reason on the Nexus 7 the app is stuck on "searching" for my printer.

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I gather that you are unable to add the printer to the HP ePrint app loaded onto your Nexus 7, but your Nexus 5 works fine.
Please try deleting the HP ePrint app and then re-installing it. I would also confirm that the Nexus 7 is connected to the same network the printer is on. I know sometimes my tablet thinks it's connected to my wifi when it's not really connected.

IPOD works fine on other computers but not on mine (insists on "restore")

Appreciate any help or guru advice. Switched to WIN XP Pro. Reinstalled iTunes 7.0.2.16. iTunes works fine on my desktop. When I went to sync my iPod, it said "iTunes detected a iPod in recovery mode" and insisted I do a "restore" on it, so I did, of course erasing all music from my iPod. But my computer still gives me same error message. I connected iPod to other computers in the house, and it works fine, and can load and play music fine. Any thoughts? Can I remove iTunes from my computer, and reinstall, and save ALL my music currently stored (whether purchased, ripped, imported, whatever?) What should I do? Help!! and Thank you immensely.

4. Same as step 3, but open the “Security Options....” and choose “Zero Out Data” before click Erase. It will take 1 to 2 hours to complete.
5. Eject your iPod and do a Reset
6. Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”
For Window computer
Go to folder “My Computer”
Hope you can see your iPod there and right click on the iPod
Choose “Format”. Ensure the settings are at “Default” and that “Quick Format” is not checked
Now select “Format”
Eject your iPod and do a Reset
Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”
In case you do not manage to do a “Format” on a window computer, try to use some 3rd party disk utility software, e.g.“HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool”.

When the PC user returns to his computer the iPod will be recognized by the PC, reformatted for the PC, and usable again. By the way, it works in reverse too. A Mac user often can get his iPod back by connecting it to a PC and restoring it.
Tips
a. It does not matter whether the format is completed or not, the key is to erase (or partly) the corrupted firmware files on the Hard Drive of the iPod. After that, when the iPod re-connected with a computer, it will be recognized as an fresh external hard drive, it will show up on the iTunes 7.
b. It is not a difficult issue for a Mac user to find a window base computer, for a PC user, if they can’t find any Mac user, they can go to a nearest Apple Shop for a favor.

A. Diagnostic mode solution
If you have tried trouble shooting your iPod to no avail after all the steps above, chances are your iPod has a hardware problem. The iPod's built-in Diagnostic Mode is a quick and easy way to determine if you have a "bad" iPod.
You need to restart your iPod before putting it into Diagnostic Mode. Check that your hold switch is off by sliding the switch away from the headphone jack. Toggle it on and off to be safe.
Press and hold the following combination of buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds to reset the iPod.
iPod 1G to 3G: "Menu" and "Play/Pause"
iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Menu" and "Select"
The Apple logo will appear and you should feel the hard drive spinning up. Press and hold the following sequence of buttons:
iPod 1G to 3G: "REW", "FFW" and "Select"
iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Back" and "Select"
You will hear an audible chirp sound (3G models and higher) and the Apple logo should appear backwards. You are now in Diagnostic Mode. Navigate the list of tests using "REW" and "FFW". Try to do the 5in1, HDD R/W and HDD scan tests. Some successful cases have been reported after the running the few tests under the Diagnostic mode. In case it does not work in your case, and the scan tests reports show some errors then it proves your iPod has a hardware problem and it needs a repairing service.
B. Format your iPod with a start disk
I have not tried this solution myself, I heard that there were few successful cases that the users managed to get their iPod (you must put your iPod in disk mode before connecting with a computer) mounted by the computer, which was booted by a system startup disk. For Mac, you can use the Disk Utility (on the Tiger OS system disk), for PC user, you can use the window OS system disk. Try to find a way to reformat your iPod, again it does not matter which format (FAT32, NTFS or HFS+) you choose, the key is to erase the corrupted system files on the iPod. Then eject your iPod and do a Reset to switch out from Disk Mode. Reboot your computer at the normal way, connect your iPod back with it, open the iPod updater, and hopefully your iPod will appear there for the Restore.
If none of these steps address the issue, your iPod may need to be repaired.

1. . Disconnecting the Hard Drive and battery inside the iPod – Warning !! Your iPod warranty will be waived once you open the iPod.
In Hong Kong there are some electronic shops offering an iPod service for Sad iPod, the first thing they do is to open up the iPod’s case and disconnecting the battery and the Hard Drive from the main board of the iPod. Wait for 5-10 minutes and reconnecting them back. The reason behind which I can think of is to do a fully reset of a processor of the iPod. Have I tried these myself? No, I am afraid to do it myself as I am squeamish about tinkering inside electronic devices, I have few experiences that either I broke the parts (which are normally tiny or fragile) or failed to put the parts back to the main case. Therefore, I agree with suggestion to have it fixed by a Pro.

TS4425 I tried this on my iPad. The but did not get any terms and conditions. Photo stream works fine on the iPad but not on Apple TV. What do I do?

Followed the instructions but they don't work. On the iPad I got no new T&Cs and it works fine. So I have no means to agree the new T&Cs and because of that it does not work on Apple TV.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.
