Another problem with SOAP sender

I have another problem with SOAP scenario in a different environment (PI 7.0) from my earlier post.
Scenario:
Soap Sender -> PI -> Soap Receiver
Following steps from GoogleSearch SOAP scenario in the SAP How-to Guide for SAP NetWeaver '04 entitled: "How To... Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter" version 1.00 - March 2006.
I have loaded in the api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl file as an External definition and created the SOAP receiver as described in the How-to guide.  It takes a doGoogleSearch as input and sends back a doGoogleSearchResponse (Sync Call).
Note that the GoogleSearch.wsdl contains a complex type ResultElementArray that refers to ResultElement\[\], and a DirectoryCategoryArray that refers to DirectoryCategory\[\].  The ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types are defined in the GoogleSearch.wsdl file.
Problem One:
The generated WSDL for the SOAP sender contains the ResultElementArray and DirectoryCategoryArray types but it DOES NOT contain the required ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types.  XML Spy complains that this WSDL is not valid because the type ResultElement\[\] is not defined.
Problem Two:
I generate a SOAP message in XML Spy, provide values for the doGoogleSearch fields, and send.  In SXMB_MONI, the SOAP sender payload contains only the <key> value from the doGoogleSearch message body, i.e. <part name="key" type="xsd:string" />
The other doGoogleSearch fields seem to be missing, i.e.
  <part name="q" type="xsd:string" />
  <part name="start" type="xsd:int" />
  <part name="maxResults" type="xsd:int" />
  <part name="filter" type="xsd:boolean" />
  <part name="restrict" type="xsd:string" />
  <part name="safeSearch" type="xsd:boolean" />
  <part name="lr" type="xsd:string" />
  <part name="ie" type="xsd:string" />
  <part name="oe" type="xsd:string" />
Does anyone know why:
(1) PI/XI seems to leave out the ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types from the SOAP sender service WSDL file?
(2) The doGoogleSearch message seen in SXMB_MONI contains only the first <key> field, and not the other fields?
Thanks for any help with this.

  • Problem with Soap Sender CC

    Hi,
    SOAP - Proxy.
    I have 3 seperate Scenarios in PI 7.0 in different Name space, with different Message interface names, under same SWC.
    I imported them to PI 7.1 and used the same format that help says... with Service:cc and gave it to the calling service.
    During my import, I noticed that the Message Interface and Name space were knocked off from the SOAP Sender adapter in PI 7.1. The scenarios are configured and working currently.
    I have 3 CC in this format. In Soap sender CC, we will specify NS and Interface name. Thus I had to use 3 CC.
    As per SAP Note 856597, the sender CC format should be...
    http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?senderParty=FP&senderService=FS&interface=IF&receiverParty=TP&receiverService=TS&interfaceNamespace=IFNamespace
    Now, in 7.10 we dont need to specify NS and Message Interface in soap sender CC. Hence, I created 3 sender URL for each scenario to call to PI 7.10 ( based on the interface / NS names ) and I have created 1 CC only instead of 3. This I thought would work because the sender CC is not tied with NS or MI any more, which are included in URL, and thus I have 3 different calling URLs.
    Now, when I do this and activate, it is always calling only one service all the time.
    Regards,
    Venkat.

    I have used the other channels in the same format. only NS and MI name changed. Sender and receiver are same.
    We do specify outbound Interface and its NS in sender Soap CC prior to 7.1.
    Morever, I am following the format as per the note I specified above.
    It is able to call PI 7.1 succesfully but failing to call proper IM and MM.
    No error mesage but only one scenario is called all the time.
    Its like this...
    prior to 7.1, we will have MI and NS info on the sender Soap sender CC. Hence we just mention the name of the CC in the target URL along with service. so it picks up the NS and MI from CC.
    in 7.1, since we dont specify NS and MI in sender Soap CC, we have to notify the sender side MI and NS and we do that in sender side URL( to be given to the calling system ).
    Now as per my understanding, since no NS or MI dependant info is speicfied in CC, I thought we can use one single CC instead of 3.
    See my thought looks reasonable ...
    but wondering why it isnt working.
    Regards,
    Venkat.

    iTunes is a mess! It couldn't find it's own libraries and I was forced to create a new one. Now I don't know where my music is or if any's missing.

    How crap is that?
    It's not crap at all.
    It's not that simple. For example, I've 3500 songs on my MacBook but don't want them all on my phone, so I have to manually select each song again???
    There has to be a solution.
    Why not simply make a playlist with the songs you want on the iPhone?
    and maintain a current backup of your computer.

  • Newline problem with soap

    I'm having these weird problems with newlines. I'm sending \n in a message because I have a multi lined message i want parsed. Axis is receiving the message and throwing exceptions. I printed out the line it's parsing and it's giving this error that it can't parse:
    '2.5
    PID'
    The parser is not supposed to parse past the \n but it seems to be trying to. I've tested this without webservices and it works fine, adding webservices into the equation gives me these errors.

    Additional info: The problem is the same in the entire environment here (PI DEV, QAS and PRD) and on another PI machine.
    So I doubt very much if it's cache related.
    Edit: This is the 'application error':

  • (Another) Problem with HP Photosmart - reinstallation

    I have a Photosmart C5280 All-in-One and a MacBook Pro, with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, using Mac OS X 10.4.11.
    Scenario this morning:
    The printer will photocopy, but there is no connection between the printer and the computer, it is not a problem with the usb cable connection. The computer will not send anything to the printer to print, and the scanner will not end anything to the computer.
    I repaired permissions using disk utility at least three times this morning. (I do it fairly often anyway).
    Scenario now:
    I have now uninstalled the software, using the HP uninstall programme, but then deleted the remaining items manually as instructed in the section on the HP site for Macs and uninstallation. I have also emptied the trash.
    Sadly however, it has made absolutely no difference. Whenever I put the installation disk into the CD drive, I can only get as far as identifying the printer. There are no printers listed, and when I tick the box, it comes up with Photosmart C5200 Series, which is correct. But the next continue box is then greyed out. (I'm wondering if following the HP instructions was such a good idea now).
    I am now stuck. I have uninstalled and can not reinstall. I have used these two together for the past year (or more) without any problems. When I initially installed, it worked fine. No problems at all. I have not recently changed any software or upgraded anything on the OS. The two were communicating last week, when I did some scanning and printing.
    Confession: I had the first problem (no scanning/printing) a couple of weeks ago, and decided to look in trash to see if I had mistakenly got rid of something and found an hp file in there. Pulled it back out. All worked fine again. But today, total blip, and no hp files in trash.
    I would be grateful if anyone could suggest a solution. I'm capable of following instructions. Oh, I have mailed Hp, but I've had no response so far. I have also looked through the stuff on here, but haven't found a similar problem, ie the connection just disappears into the ether.

    I had a response from HP:
    1) Was the printer powered on? It needs to be turned on.
    2) Was the USB plugged directly from the back on the printer to the Mac? You are not using a hub, airport or a USB cable more than 10 feet long?
    3) Power cycle the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer. Wait 10-15 seconds and reconnect the cord. Power on the printer. Was it found?
    4) If not, restart the Mac. Once you are back up, if the HP setup Assistant does not automatically launch you can launch it by clicking on Hard Drive > Applications > Hewlett-Packard > Utilities or Device Utilities > HP Setup Assistant. Double click to launch. Was it found?
    5) If not, plug the USB cable into a different port on the computer. Was it found?
    6) If the printer is still not found, check the system profiler for the device. Click on the Blue Apple in the upper left corner, then About this Mac. On the next screen click on More Info. On the System Profiler screen, click on USB under Hardware. On the right is the printer found under USB device tree?
    7) Another thing we need to check is when you installed the software did you select the correct device. The newer printer software may contain multiple products. If you did not select the correct device during the install, the computer is looking for a different device and not finding it. To check this, run the HP uninstaller. Open Hard Drive> Applications > Hewlett-Packard > HP Uninstaller. When you get to uninstall selected device, what printer is listed. If it is not you model series, run the uninstaller. Quit the uninstaller when complete, disconnect the USB cable and restart. When you back to the desktop, empty the trash, and reinstall the software. Wait for the option to select your device!
    I want to be sure the troubleshooting steps I provided resolve the issue. If the issue continues, please reply to this message with the results. We will be glad to assist you further.
    It was not unreasonable, but I had checked the box that said Intermediate (level of computer knowledge) - so I thought asking me if the printer was turned on/checking the ports/ etc etc was a little basic.
    However on browsing this forum for similar probs I noticed a reference to Printer Setup Repair (it may have been one of your suggestions BDAqua to a different problem) so downloaded it for a free trial. Although I regularly verify and repair permissions with disk utility, I tried with Printer Setup Repair, and got this message:
    Monday, December 15, 2008 12:16:04

    Done.
    Verification complete.
    837 files examined. No problems were found.
    11 missing files/directories found during the verification process. They may be responsible for certain printing problems. Printer Setup Repair cannot replace these items. Please refer to the log file for a list of the missing files/directories. You may need to reinstall OS X to resolve your printing issues. Certain files and directories are deleted when using the Reset Printing System option. These files and directories, if required, will be recreated during normal printing.
    That message would explain why, the last time I had a problem, it was resolved with reinstalling OS X. What I don't understand is why a file suddenly disappears? Perhaps I need to move my queries to one about OS X? (I have OS X on my other Apple and no probs there.)
    Anyway, thank you for your responses and if you have any further advice or suggestions, I would be happy to hear.

  • Problems with Soap Adapter

    Hi!
    I need to implement the following scenario:
    In SAP an user exit calls an RFC which uses a TCP/IP Connection (SM59) to the XI and sends data over this connection to it. The XI connects via a SOAP adapter my server program and sends the data in a soap stream to this server.
    This works sometimes ok and sometimes not.
    The status for those messages in the XI is "scheduled for outbound processing" with a little black arrow pointing to the right.
    The error message in the Runtime Workbench for such a job is:
    SOAP: request message entering the adapter
    SOAP: call failed
    SOAP: sending a delivery error ack ...
    SOAP: sent a delivery error ack
    How can I find out what the problem is?
    Thanks,
    Konrad

    Hi,
    When a message is scheduled for outbound processing, it is normally sent automatically.
    does it always sit at this status or does it change after a while ?
    If it is an issue with the connectivity from the Integration Server to the Adapter Framework you would get a different error message.
    If it is an issue with connectivity from the SOAP adapter to your target, you would also get a different error - it is likely to be shown as an outright failure. Plus the error shown in the message is likely to be
    "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused"
    Hope this helps.
    i think you need to get Basis involved to see why messages are not getting sent from the rfc queues automatically all the time.
    Cheers
    Colin.

  • Problem between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver

    Hi,
    I have a asynchronous scenary between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver.
    The idea is sending an ID for updating one register.
    Table structure is:
    TABLE AS_PERSONA
        (P_RUT                         VARCHAR2(10) NOT NULL,
        P_NOMBRE                       VARCHAR2(50),
        P_APELLIDO                     VARCHAR2(50))
    The ID is the P_RUT field.
    The structure of message that I send by SOAP, is the following:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <m:MT_CONS_SOAP xmlns:m="urn:prueba:voliva">
                   <CONSULTA>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </CONSULTA>
              </m:MT_CONS_SOAP>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    The JDBC receiver structure is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA xmlns:ns0="urn:prueba:voliva">
         <Statement>
              <AS_PERSONA action="UPDATE">
                   <table>AS_PERSONA</table>
                   <access>
                        <P_NOMBRE>DELETE_BY_XI</P_NOMBRE>
                        <P_APELLIDO>DELETE_BY_XI</P_APELLIDO>
                   </access>
                   <key>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </key>
              </AS_PERSONA>
         </Statement>
    </ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA>
    When I do a call to SOAP by XMLspy, it returns a message without data, that means succesfull reply.
    I see message monitor and see the succesfull flag. But in the database it doesn't update the register.
    This scenario was proved using the File Sender and same JDBC Receiver, then result was succesfull.
    I proved SOAP Sender with a File Receiver, storing information from SOAP sender in an archive, and works well.
    Then I imagine that exist some problem between SOAP and JDBC. what could be happening ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Looks like the problem is with the JDBC receiver...try updating the value in the table by using a File-JDBC scenario..does it work..check the adapter monitor in RWB..

  • Niggly problem with Hotmail - Sending from a third party email address

    I need true push email on my BlackBerry, but also need access from a PC and need to send from my own email address. The easiest way I've found to do this is to forward all emails to my own address to a Hotmail address and use Hotmail as my main provider. Everything works as it should - I've got Windows Live Mail setup on my PC and all emails are sent to the BlackBerry the instant they're received. However, I've got a niggling problem with sending emails from the BlackBerry...
    On the Hotmail website, I've set my own email address as the default "From" address and in Windows Live Mail, I've set my email address as my own address. So, if I send email from the Hotmail site or from Windows Live Mail, my own email address is used as the "From" address and not the Hotmail address. If I send email from the BlackBerry, it uses the Hotmail address as the "From" address and not my own address. I've set my own email address as the "Reply To" address in BlackBerry Internet Service but it still shows the Hotmail address. I can't see anyway to change this and it's the only problem I have...
    I have tried the GoogleMail service, and this worked fine but every email I sent (either from Google Mail, Outlook or the BlackBerry) would copy itself to the BlackBerry and was getting a bit of a pain.
    I have also tried Yahoo Mail but this wouldn't allow me to send email from another email address.
    Any ideas from anyone? Either to allow emails sent from my BlackBerry to show my own email address as the "From" address, or to stop emails sent through Google Mail to copy themselves to the BlackBerry?

    Hi,
    I've had this sent items in my inbox, problem with Gmail.  You can add a filter from the settings page of your gmail account.  The filter should be applied to all emails from your email address [[email protected]] and skip the Inbox should be selected.
    Have you tested the "Reply to" option properly?  Send a mail from your BB to a friend and ask them to hit the reply  button, see which account it goes to.

  • Problems with OWA_COOKIE send and get

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with OWA_COOKIE-package. What I'm trying to do is to integrate Oracle eBS and an APEX app. The application resides on different databases and servers.
    I'm basing my code on this white paper:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/pdf/Extend_Oracle_Applications_11i.pdf
    I have the function set up in eBS and it redirects me to my APEX login page. The next step is to pass a cookie with the user name password to the APEX app. Here the problems begins.
    My launch code in the eBS database (lots of hardcoded values just for the test):
    PROCEDURE xxapex_launch (application IN NUMBER DEFAULT 107
                           , page IN NUMBER DEFAULT 1
                           , request IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT null
                           , item_names IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
                           , item_values IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL) AS
    BEGIN
      OWA_UTIL.mime_header('text/html', false);
      OWA_COOKIE.send (name => 'APEX_APPS_107',
                       value => 'daniel:development',
                       expires => sysdate + 365,
                       path=>'/');
      OWA_UTIL.redirect_url('http://server:8090'||'/apex/f?p='||
                            application||':'||page||'::'||request||':::'||
                            item_names||':'||item_values);
    END xxapex_launch;
    The application process in APEX that should read the cookie(on-load before header):
    DECLARE
      c OWA_COOKIE.cookie;
      a wwv_flow_global.vc_arr2;
    BEGIN
      c := OWA_COOKIE.get('APEX_APPS_107');
      a := htmldb_util.string_to_table(c.vals(1));
      :P160_USERNAME := a(1);
      :P160_PASSWORD := a(2);
      IF :P160_PASSWORD IS NOT NULL THEN
        wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login(
           P_UNAME => :P160_USERNAME,
           P_PASSWORD => :P160_PASSWORD,
           P_SESSION_ID => v('APP_SESSION'),
           P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':160');
    __END IF;
    END;The error I get is no-data-found when this is run:
    :P160_USERNAME := a(1);
    The c.num_vals is 0 and what I can understand OWA_COOKIE.get does not find my cookie. Is there anybody out there that can point on what I'm doing wrong?
    Regards Daniel

    Back on this....
    Is there somebody that have successfully implemented the solution described in?
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/pdf/Extend_Oracle_Applications_11i.pdf
    Questions:
    Should I create a custom login page or use the default (that using my custom Authentication Scheme)?
    In the white paper where it's described on how to create the application process (that reads the cookie) it says (page 5):
    "This process should be conditional and should not be run if the login page is processing a logout request."
    Does somebody know on how to achive this?
    In my case my eBS is on one server and the APEX installation is on another server, I don't know if that's
    what preventing it to work.
    I'm trying to make a very simple proof of conecpt, my app only contain one login page (the default) and
    one blank HTML-page. I have a database link between my APEX and EBS database (using APPS user). My
    app works fine in a stand-alone scenario. But when I start it from EBS I get the login page (the appl.
    process code has not fired) and if I tries to login using a username and a pwd I can se that the
    appl. process fires and is reading the cookie correctly. The problem is that it "hangs" and it seems that
    appl. process fires over and over again (can see that in my log table).
    My code:
    The Authentication Function
    create or replace FUNCTION demo_ebiz_suite_auth
    (p_username in VARCHAR2,
    p_password in VARCHAR2) return BOOLEAN is
    begin
    __return true; /* can log in with whatever */

  • Another problem with G4 500mhz

    Ok i solved my earlier problem with the power, now I have another. But this time its not real serious. Well as you know I bought my computer used from the highschool through a auction, well i finally got my computer to turn on, but now when it turns on, 2 user profiles pop up asking for passwords (one of them being a teachers side). And I have no clue how to get around this. So if theres any way please let me know. Thanks

    Well… the nicest solution would be to reformat the drive and reinstall Mac OS X and the software you need to use. Thing is, I'm assuming you don't have have Mac OS X or software.
    So, one thing you can do is to contact AppleCare (their number will be in Apple's support pages) and have them send you out a replacement copy of the installation discs. They'll charge you a nominal fee for doing so but I highly recommend you do this.
    That'll get you started.
    If you want to do anything tricker than that you will probably need some else's help as well as the help of their Mac. Otherwise, you can just duck down to an Apple Store/Reseller and get yourself a copy of Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and iLife 06. More expensive although will be all current versions rather than the Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) that comes with a 500MHz Titanium.

  • Is this yet another problem with 7.5 or is it just me . . .

    Upgrade seemed to be fine, at first . . . now I keep getting distortion on songs. It seems to be quite random and just because a song has been distorted when I've listened to it once doesn't mean it will be when I listen to it again! It's driving me insane. Is this yet another bug or have I done something wrong (apart from upgrading to 7.5).

    Hi Emlou,
    If you have a Windows based operating system such as XP -
    It seems to me that you are suffering what I am having the same problem with - the program takes up to much of your computer's processing usage. If you go into your task manager and watch performance as ITunes runs - you will see how much of the total computer usage it is taking at any given moment - that's why your songs are distorted, slowing, garbled, etc - the usage on mine spikes from 11% - 93% AT ANY GIVEN MINUTE! I have no idea why, but I have found that by going to your "Control Panel" and clicking on Quicktime you can adjust audio output to help. Click the audio tab, click Safe Mode Wavout only (checkbox) / Then adjust the "Rate" to 96kHz / Then adjust the "Size" to 16 bit. Close that and shut down and restart Itunes - it might help a little for you.
    Maybe someone out there can help us find out why we are suffering with all the CPU usage trouble and how to adjust that spiking.
    Thanks!
    Paul

  • Problem with file sender adapter and endSeparator

    Hy,
    have the following situation: with a sender File adpater i have to receive the same structure of data but in two mode.
    1) First mode : each recorset is defined as a file line
       Example (not fields separator):
       fielda,fieldb,fieldc
       field2a,field2b,field2c
    2) Second mode : recorset of the same line without end
        separator and fieldseparator
       Example (not fields separator):
       fielda,fieldb,fieldc,field2a,field2b,field2c,......
    I configured the adapter as follow.
    structure.fieldFixedLengths      1,2,3
    structure.fieldNames             field1,field2,field3
    structure.lastFieldsOptional     YES
    structure.processFieldNames      fromConfiguration
    structure.endSeparator           'nl'
    PROBLEM
    Mode 1) works but mode 2) doesn't work.
    Could anyone solve my problem??
    Thank's
    Mati

    Hi,
    Try using two differnt record structure name for each mode.for eg give it as structure1 and structure2.then u give the content conversion parameter for both the recordset depending on ur requirement i.e, with and without end seperator.

  • Problem with Adobe Send Email functionality

    I have come across an issue in Adobe Reader 9 where if a PDF doucment loads with an IE frame, and you click the 'Send Email' button, the subject line is blank.
    Example URL: http://sc.openoffice.org/excelfileformat.pdf
    On clicking the Send Email button -> Send Copy
    Does anyone know a workaround to get the subject line populated?
    In addition, with previous versions of Abode (6,7,8) the subject line defaults to the name of the PDF instead of the PDF title? Is there a way of changing this?
    Any help would be most appreciated.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having a problem with sending your files through Adobe Send.  Can you provide more details?
    What type of file are you sending?
    When you download the file yourself, is it blank?
    Are all recipients having the same problem?
    Do the recipients get a Preview of the file?
    Are they seeing the blank document as a Preview as well as after downloading?
    Would it be possible for you to send the file to me through Adobe Send?  I will provide you with my email address in a Private Message.
