Any 4 level - ezscroller users?

I am using 4level EZ scroller DW extention and continue to
run into an issue when viewing in different browsers. I have placed
the content layer inside a table layer and set all attributes to
null so that the layer will assume the table cell attributes. Looks
great in Firefox - Not so much in IE. Any ideas or suggestions on
how to make this work or other apps that woudl work better.

Fourdot,
You have the right idea about how you went about placing the
scroller inside
of the table cell. The main problem is that you did not
transfer the
controls along with the scroller inside of your "tablelayer".
If you place
the controls layer inside the tablelayer as well ( and put
back the
positioning attributes .. top:0; left:0; it will be
consistent accross
browsers.

Debug privilege - is it at object level or user level or both?

Just want to know at what level Debug privilege can be granted? At object level or user-level or both?
I'm under the impression that if an user say 'A' is given this privilege, then he can debug all the procedures/packages/objects in his schema . I guess it's like granting the privilege at user level.
On the other hand when we say 'grant debug on proc_name to xyz' , it's at object level.
Please check and correct my assumptions.

in order to debug (i.e, activate dbms_debug) in a session you need:
debug connect session
in order to debug objects that you are not the owner you need:
debug any procedure
or
grant debug on procedure from the user that own the pl/unit

Connect by - find the top level by pasing in any other level

I have a connect by loop.
select parent,
child
from parentchild
start with parent = :passed_in_parameter
connect by nocycle prior child = parentThis works fine but i have an addiitional requirement to find the top level of this tree. By passing in any other level.
i.e.
if i have data as follows:
parent child
1 2
2 3
3 4
4
hierachy
1
2
3
4
Then I need my query to always give me the value 1 (top level) even if i pass in 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Sorry, I don't know enough (yet) about your application to answer your question.
Whenever you have a question, post a little sample data, and the results you want from that data.
In the case of a DML question (like this one: how to prevent DML that causes a loop) post some INSERT statements that show the table without any problems.
For the results, post a series of DML statements (INSERT, UPDATE and or DELETE) to be executed in order, and say whether you want each one to fail or not, and why.
Make sure your sample data resembles your real data. For example, if your real table allows children to have more than one parent, make sure your sample data has an example of that.
There's no need to post a lot of data. If your real trees can go to 50 levels deep, you can post a tree that only goes 3 or 4 levels, and just explain that they can actually go deeper.

    It could be that DSO_X is a write optimized DSO. Since a Write optimised DSO does not require any activation, it is capable of loading data much faster. Once the data is in BW, you have an exact copy of the R/3 data, so you dont need the PSA and they can be deleted on a regular basis. You have a definite performance improvement in this case.
   As you said a backup is also possible if you have a DSO. Helps in the case of LIS loads, since you already have a copy of the data in BW, you would not need to perform setup activties if you need to do so minor changes.
   It could also be that different transformations are happening at each level of DSO. You would need to check for start and update routines for exactly what changes are being made. for eg. If I need to change some records, i do it in DSO_X, if i need to change these records based on the changes made in DSO_X, i change them while loading to DSO. Further changes can be done while loading to the cube.

I looked @ your Excel Power Map program add on, and it’s great.
However everyone is looking for the ability for the user to create polygon (boundary) maps.
It should not be that hard to add this functionality onto such a great map program you already have.
For example: let’s say one has 10 latitude & longitude coordinates and he wants to see the polygon (boundary) of them on your great map. One should be able to just put those 10 latitude & longitude coordinates in an Excel sheet, fire up your Power
Map, select that it should be plotted as a polygon (boundary) and it will display on the map.

I would also like to see Excel Power map have USA census tracts built into it just like is has USA zip codes built into it. Census data is also very important as thousands and thousands of people need to display polygon (boundary) for census tracts.

You can have both clicking and hovering. But you need to add the definition manually for every such word.

We currently run Formscape to produce all our customer facing documentation and some internal reports, that are generated via JDE and we are looking to migrate to BI Publisher.
We are currently running JDE Enterprise One 8.11 SP1 Update 2 with tools release 8.97.3.2. and looking to upgrade to tools release 8.98.4.5.

db version : 9.2.0.4
We are planning to upgrade our production database from 9.2.0.4 to 10.2.0.4 in NEW OS LEVEL ORACLE USER.
let say our present Oracle db is existed in "Oracle" user and we are creating one more user called "oracle10" for 10g installation and we are planning to upgrade from oracle10 user...
please suggest me, what are things needs to be taken care while doing this process..

VamshiUnderstood, but none of that requires a new oracle user/software owner. I have managed AIX boxes hosting 3 separate db's, each with it's own OHome, owned by it's own OS account. I understand the reasoning of the guy who set that up (that I inherited it from), but disagree with it. It created as many problems as it solved. There really is no good reason that I can see to create more than one single OS account to own all of the oracle software installations. Just as there is generally no good reason to have multiple OHome's of the same version. Just as there is no good reason to have multiple listeners on a given host.

"No service 3G" displayed without any signal level displayed

I just upgraded to IOS 6 and after re-entering my APN info and restarting my iPad 2 my iPad 2 tried searching for a carrier the displayed:
"No Service 3G"without any signal level displayed.
The Carrier shows correctly in Settings-Carrier and my iPad 2 seems to be fully operational. Data flow (web browsing/e-mail/etc) on the 3G and Wi-Fi networks are good.
How do I get the carrier and signal level to display correctly?

That's kind of what i was wondering i live in Apartment Building as well top floor We have a Tower 2 miles to the North a Tower 1 mile or less to our South and 1 that's close to 2 miles to our West and is on Another apartment building and the Signal i'm getting is 3 to 4 bars and the 4G the bars indicate CDMA signal only why as the 4G is your Data.. Our apartment is maid out of Brick with Metal Windows the Roof is a Normal flat Roof with a High Grade Roof shingle..
You might Check and see what is in the Building Materials in your Apartment and if you Live in the bottom part of it that might Hamper the Signal somewhat..

i've tested it both on 6i and 10g and also set the lov name at runtime.
All i can say is, it does what it is supposed to do.
So you should give it one more try:
- leave the item properties NULL ( LOV name ) and NO ( Validate_From_List )

As we know, we can copy the graphs to other users using /n/sapapo/sdp_graph. But is their any way to restrict user from overriding the graph to particular user.
Scenarios:
In a project we have super user and semi-super user, whenever super user uses above t-code to copy graph to all users (he has included semi-super user id to target user list) but semi-super user does not want to override his graph by super user.
Do we have such function in APO to restrict?

You are sure that you have a rescue email address, and not an alternate email address ? They are different addressess and settings.
