Any flag on the grid to return any changes
Hi,
Is there any flag to return any changes on the gridControl.
For example, I have a grid with the cell editable , I change some value and I want to some code to notify me there are some changes

Hi,
Since GridControl is based on JTable, you can
regsiter a listener with the Table Model, the grid uses.
gridControl.getModel().addTableModelListener(....).

Just downloaded the new OS for IPhone. Despise the appearance. It has jacked with the way I like things in some unacceptable ways. Is there any way to keep the OS, but return to the old appearance? Important to know BEFORE I download OS for computer.
I know I am responding to my own thread, but I an SOOOO disgusted with Apple right now.
The new iOS 7 was the lead story on CNN today... and it wasn't positive. Easy to see why, it's a graphics disaster. It is ugly, difficult to read, doesn't interface aesthetically with the iPhone 4S, and gives everyone in America vertigo. Either fix the appearance, or find some way to allow us to roll back to our previous iOS. Do so quickly, or this life-long Apple customer [circa 1978] will be moving on. If this represents shades of what is coming with OS Maverick, I am petrified. Further, I am a GM of a chain of newspapers and websites in the Austin, Texas area. I will be ripping out a scathing editorial. The notion that we can't roll back from something millions of us hate is despicable. I'm giving you one week. Be sure I am not alone. -
The scroll function on my mousepad is disabled when viewing a pdf file in firefox version 5.0. The scroll works on the pdf, but not on the other tabs. When the pdf is closed, the scroll function returns to normal. Any ideas?!
Hey thanx for the help, it worked like a charm.
I think firefox changed the application lay out, as I used to be able to choose my PDF opener from the list at " Adobe Acrobat Forms Document' where I could choose Nitro-PDF reader, but it has now moved all the way to the bottom like you suggested to the obvious place of "Portable Document Format" section.
If someone didn't tell me , I wouldn't have scrolled all the way down to be able to find it... it really should be with all its cousins up the top...

i recently migrated to a new mac. in iphoto, some photos have a small flag on the upper left of the photo. any idea what that is?
That's called Flagging. It's a way to make a quick selection of photos. For instance if you're looking for the best shot to print you might go through the photos and flag candidates for further inspection. Then clicking on the Flagged Section on the left, you can see these selected photos together. You can remove flags by clicking on them, if you mouse over a shot you'll see the option to add a flag by clicking. This can also be done in the Photos menu.

My iphone hangs any time.I see a call coming but i cannot attend. If you used your backup to restore the data after it got returned, set it up as new device and don't use the backup data afterwards. It seems that some data inside the backup are corrupt. Follow this article and set up the account info and other setting manually after that:

is there any way to get progress back from a deleted game off ipod/ it was backed up to the computer but when i synced the ipod the progress didnt return. its minecraft game

In iTunes 11 use Control+B to show the Menu bar then go to iTunes>File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

When you get a call it has some small icons of reminding and message and one white ugly "slide to answer" bar.*** seriously?
People complained about the green bar in IOS 7.0.3. You can't please everyone with everything. Deal with it and move on. Or you can just get a Droid phone and suffer through the bizarre interface changes.
A lot of people would really appreciate a release with the old interface back.
People complained about every interface change that Apple has tried. As I said earlier, you can't please everyone with everything. The interface is what it is, learn it, deal with it, or move on to something more to your liking. I think they still make flip phones. -
Is it possible to center text between any set of verticle lines shown by the grid?
I'm trying to get text to be set at the specific spots on this background I'm using, so I turned the grid on. I have to put text at specific locations a lot. So it would be a whole lot easier and faster if I could just automatically center the text between the lines of the grid, rather than manually fiddling with it.
well smart guides in this case might get you where you want to go.
But if you have either point type or text frame it is pretty easy to do.
Turn on snap to grid in the view menu
draw a rectangle from one of the grid lines to to the other (with no fill and no stroke optionsl)
then place the text over the rectangle, turn off snap to grid.
in the align panel select to align by key object select both the text and the rectangle and click (with a selection) on the rectangle to make it the key object (do not hold the shift key down).
Then in the align panel choose the center icon for either horizontal or vertical alignment.
Vertically aligning the text means that a text frame has to snug the text and even at that it is often subjective so you might have to nudge for a visual
accepted centering and sometimes this is true of horizontal aligned center depending on the size and use of the text.
Oh yes after you center the text you can delete the rectangle. -

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Reflection: invoke(obj, args) - args not returned with any change?

I'm trying to invoke Method.invoke(obj, args) with an array of args that I'd like to be returned by reference (i.e. the method I'm invoking is changing the values within the array). For some reason, even though the method alters the values, they don't seem to be returned with any change?
FYI - the obj returned from the method is fine (i.e. For ret = Method.invoke(obj,args) the ret object is valid and works like a treat).
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Do you understand what I am saying? When your target method receives an argument that it must modify, it must return that array so that the modified values are available to the calling Object. Other wise, the values are only modified within the scope of the target method.
Reflection is great for gaining an insight into classes and invoking methods that provide an insight into Object instances for things like a debugging utility, but it does not perform well, so you may want to avoid it if your only need is to modify runtime values.... ... hope this helps. -
I have 2 calendars set up for my work schedule, a "night shift" and "day shift" calendar. I've set up repeating events fro Fri/Sat/Sun 3-11pm "night shifts" and Mon/Tues 7am-3pm "day shifts". But lets say for example that I swap shifts and instead of working nights on Saturday like I normally would, I am now working days. I want to change that in my calendar. When I go to change the event, if i change the TIME it asks if i want to change all event or ONLY this event. no problem....just this single event. but when i go to change the event from the "night shift" calendar to the "day shift" calendar, it changes ALL the repeating events, and not just that one single event. can anyone help with this??? am i doing something wrong? is there a way to do this or not with the new iCal program??? i used to do this and never had any problems. Thank you!
You need to follow iPhoto terms since we only know what you tell us
what are you calling folders - in iPhoto folders can not hold photos - albums hold photos and folders hold albums or other folders
The basic default view of photo is by event (iPhoto '08 and later)

I am used to that when I open an image in Bridge it will be opened in PS, with all preferenses I have done to the image. Now it opens in PS but without any changes i have don e in Bridge. Also when I open a new image I want it to be opened in Camera Raw automatically, both if a Jpeg or Raw picture.
