Any idea how to "frame" another website into my iweb pages?
Disclaimer - I'm fairly new at this, may be a rookie question.
I want to allow info from another site to be shown & interacted with by the visitor on my iweb page. The purpose for this is to allow real estate listings (provided by a subscription-based third party) to be integrated into my site, allowing the visitor access to those listings, photos, etc, while maintaining the image & brand that I use to support/market my services. An HTML snippet is not available from the provider that allows for the level of access that I need, and once again the objective is to not direct the visitor away from my main page or from the site entirely.

Hi,
My old laptop was old and broken, so I only managed to email my library to myself before it yet again gave me the Blue Screen of Death. I have sicne got a new laptop - I uninstalled windows 8 in favour of 7 enterprise. Problem is, most of the content of my library was from my CD collection, so only a fraction of my library transferred when I logged in. Any ideas on how to get it all back?

Usually the name of an apple id is based on the email. So knowing that you may have forgotten the Apple ID password.

How do I get the phone to work again? It has no apps on it and the only thing I can do is make an emergency call and when I call it from another line I just get voicemail. Before restoring I backed up the info but don't know how to get it restored on the phone.

I am unable to load some web pages, I get an error message saying unable to load page due to invalid or unsupported form of compression, this happens on the BBC news page for example. Any ideas how to overcome???Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

I downloaded an app 5 years ago on my iPhone with another Apple ID that I cannot get into now because I forgot the ID. I'd like to download the same app on my iPad now. The developer says it should be no problem. Any ideas how to solve this?
It will be tied to your old account, so only that old account will be able to re-download it - but redownloading an account's past purchases may tie a computer or device to the account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, or on a backup of your library ? If you have it on a backup then you should be prompted to authorise the account (and I think that the id will show) if you try to add it to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library. -
I need to make a pdf document, already made in photoshop, 'page turn' and then add it to my website as an e-brochure. I know I can do this in indesign but indesign will not open pdf files for some inexplicable reason. Any ideas how I can do it without completely starting again?

please try this (all terms are translated from my German programs to my best knowledge):
1. Did the creator of the pdf file enable the import options?
2. See import options: choose an other visibility option for your layer.
3. Let you show the import options and click into one with a black background and try these out (often a gray is selected).
4. See trimming: try the different modes there. Often works: "Media".
5. Is the pdf file (eg from Word) correctly created?
6. Is the PDF file protected? >>> no import possible.
7. If that does not help, store the pdf file in Acrobat, repair possible errors, run the PDF Optimizer before placing in InDesign.

my iphone went into recovery mode for some reason and is unable to be restored. it wont turn on and when plugged into a charger it shows a usb and itunes symbol. so i plugged it into my mac and connected to itunes then itunes said it has detected a phone in recovery mode and needs to be restored. so it goes through the restoration process for a couple minutes or so then stops and says itunes is unable to restore because an unknown error occurred (2001) or (2006) and other times i try it says its unable to restore because itunes cant detect the device... any ideas how to fix this?
Errors 2000-2009 (from Apple support): If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software.

I am using a T61 ThinkPad with an external hard drive and my itunes library keeps disapearing but remains on the external drive. Any idea how to fix this so my music doesn't disapear all the time? It's a real drag pulling music back into iTunes each week
In iTunes 11 uncheck the preferences setting in in the iTunes Preferences panel "Advanced > Copy Files to iTunes Media folder when adding to Library"

Got to end of trial period for Adobe reader XI and cannot revert back to old version or install another version b/c it says I have a newer more functional version, so now I've got no reader at all and cannot fix. Any ideas how to overcome this?.
YOu need to be clear about the products you are using, so we can help you. In particular there is no trial of Adobe Reader, it is free and keeps running. Sounds like you are using some versions of Acrobat - which?
YOu must properly uninstall the trial, don't just delete files or you may get a mess impossible to recover. -
I loaded my ipad photos from camera and all the pictures sorted by date. I later sync my ipad with my computer and the photos were all reorganized into IMPRT folders an out of date sequence. Any idea how to put the photos back into date files other than reloading all of them from camera?
What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

hi i've just signed up for lightroom and when i go into the develop screen i get a blue screen with a cross through it and it says cant load picture. any idea how to get around this?

Any ideas how I can insert a pdf into word, using the insert object option. However the pdf i want to insert has text and lines annotated, but once inserted the comments don't appear???? any help would be greatly appreciated.
You will need to find a forum for MS Word since that is the software that you are trying to manipulate in this. If you think the processing/creation of the PDF plays a role then you should ask in the forum for the software that you are using to create the PDF.

My i phone was stolen and now I need to upload my contacts to my i cloud from my I tunes...any ideas how to import contacts into i cloud, with either i tunes or with old iphone?
If you have the contacts on the phone you can sync the phone to the computer. The contacts should then show in address book. At this point you can sync the address book data to iCloud. You have to make sure the iCloud account is setup on the computer and this will not work unless the computer is running 10.7.2 of course. There are other ways to add the contacts to iCloud like through the phone but the phone must be running iOS5. If it is you can simply add the cloud account to the phone and toggle the contacts slider. You will get a prompt to keep or delete the contact data. Of course you keep. Then you will get a prompt to merge at which point you do. This should merge the contacts on the phone with iCloud. Hope this helps.

When my wife creates a Shared stream on her account it says it came from me with her Account. She is logged into her own separate Apple ID on both her phone and iPad. Any ideas how to separate?
There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.
