Anyone able to help with Galaxy S5 WiFi issues?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and ever since I bought it (Purchased on releasing day), the WiFi connection is horrible.
To be more specific, the WiFi works perfectly when using the web browser, however, almost all of my applications that require internet connection such as facebook, youtube, imdb, snapchat, and various email application hardly work at all. I don't know if it's the applications themselves because applications like my mobile banking app, pandora, and my GPS application (Waze) all work just fine with no issues at all.
I googled it and found a few posts with somewhat similar issues which lead me to going into my WiFi settings and changing it from DHCP to static. However, it didn't help. I also went into my router and changed the channel, but it still didn't help.
If you have experience in this area or know of anything I can do to fix it, please feel free to explain.

My wife is having the same issue. ive done everything there is to try and fix this issue and was
unsuccessful. She is quite frustrated... after all i did have her leave tmobile to switch to verizon
and now she has had nothing but issues that hse never ever had with tmobile.  ive bee with verizon for years.
i just dont get it!

  • Is anyone able to help with a Mavericks to Yosemite upgrade error: Disk Repair Failed?

    I upgrade my Mavericks OS on my MacBook Pro to Yosemite this morning and it's stuck on "Installing on Hard Disk" but then produces errors in the Cmd+L log such as:
    + Disk Repair failed. Will attempt to wait for kextcache
    And then it fails suggesting I restart or change to another startup Disk, but when I do, it says "You can't change the start-up disk to the selected disk. Startup disk could not gather enough information on the selected disk."
    Does anyone know of any resolution?

    Yes, I had found a similar solution also.  I'm running XP Pro, SP3.  I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair.  Then run the 10.5 exe.
    While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess.  Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes.  Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing.  I haven't begun to work on that.

    Here is a solution that worked for me, after nothing else would. Log out and back in to iTunes on your Mac/PC.
    I had exactly the same problems as above, and no amount of network changes or even a full restore would help.
    Finally, I went back to my PC, launched iTunes, logged OUT of that, then signed in again, this time with the new password.
    Then I had to go back, and properly close Facetime and iMessages and sign in. It worked fine after that.
    (To properly close an application, double click the home button, then hold down on the facetime app logo in the multitasking bar at the bottom, then press the tiny symbol.)

    stevie, a third party app called airparrot will give you the pretty much the same as mirroring and forks on Macs too old to mirror.

I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel.  I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).

    Been working on setting up a development environment at home similar to what I have at work. I have Tomcat 5.028, MySQL (latest standard version), and XSQL from the latest XDK. Mainly trying to set all this up so I can generate XSQL and do some XSLT / XSL:FO renderings, since that is what I am doing at work. My Java is a bit rusty (havent used it in awhile) so if anyone could shed some light on what I am doing wrong please let me know.
    I copied the XSQL Java files (xsu12.jar, xmlparserv2.jar, oraclexsql.jar, xsqlserializers.jar) to \tomcat\common\lib. I copied the MySQL JDBC file there also.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Can anyone help with my broad band issue please?

    Hi all, I'm leaving this message here in desperation as I really don't know what else to do apart from cancel my contract with BT.
    I had broadband and a phone line installed on the 26th of May and though the phone line went live straight away, the broadband has not worked. An engineer visited, advised the issue was at the echange and late called my partner to see if the blue light on the hub had come on. She confirmed it had and the engineer than closed the call.
    I arrived home that evening to try and use the broadband and connected but the speed was abysmal.
    I then ran a speed test which informed me my download speed was 0.38mbps. Obviously this speed is not worth paying for.
    I called again to report the poor speed and was told an engineer would visit this morning between 8 and 1. My partner booked this time off from work but the engineer did not turn up. I spoke to the online service to report this and they said they could not see an appointment had been booked. I remembered to print off my previous online conversation with them and even quoted the reference number for the booking. They then said there was a technical issue at their end.
    They have rebooked for next Monday and unless they resolve it there and then I can't see any other option but to cancel the whole thing.
    I am so frustrated at the last of customer service and the fact I have to talk online to someone who is very apologetic but not able to help. I can't believe I can have a service installed on the 26th of last month and it still is not working!
    And the fact that my partner has twice booked half days for the engineer appointments is just bad luck?
    If anyone has any help or knows anyway to expedite the issue or speak to anyone with enough authority to log a complaint I'd be most grateful. Thank you

    I have a problem with my EP. I have create an iViews and link it to employee bank information (PZ03) which I publish this thru SE80 under Internet service. On the R/3 side, if I login as the employee, by typing “/n” then press “enter” and I type PZ03. I am able to see the screen. The problem is when I wanted to display the personal data (PZ13); I could not publish it in SE80 under Internet service. It gives me an error message that the object does not exist. However I am able to view the screen if I log in as an employee in R/3 (same with what I did for PZ03).
    On the EP side, I am not able to view that personal data (PZ13) iView. It gives me some error message which listed below. It is working fine in my development EP. Is there anything that I need to re-publish or any service that I need to activate?

    I am no coder, by any means, unless you consider html code....I don't
    any how, here's what i'm trying to do, if someone who knows bash would like to assist?
    i have a folder, with a bunch of subfolders, inside these subfolders, is a setup.xml file.
    and inside these setup xml files is a line titled product code with a string after it.
    i could really use a script or sorts to go through and output all those product codes into a single text file right now, otherwise i'm sure i'll be here for hours
